went here this morning Feb 1st at 9 am rite when they opened. instantly fell in love with this place. Great prices, really nice people working there and was in and out super fast. let me tell yah, these guys know what there doing , they've got a loyal customer rite here, I won't ever go anywhere else ever again for my battery needs. this place rocks.....

Their “100% accurate” battery tester showed my son’s battery to be fine, causing us to incur diagnostic expenses from 2 different mechanics. In the end, it was the battery after all, which nearly tripled his cost to replace it. We will never go here again.

I showed up with my 'problematic' 2-year-old battery, intending to buy a new one. Trevor tested it, and after asking me a few questions, we both realized that my battery charger wasn't working well. The battery is fine, and he just saved me the money for a new one. Thumbs up!

The battery in my car had drained twice in the last three weeks. I drove to Battery X-Change in Oregon City, ready to buy a new battery. They tested the battery and let me know that it tested OK and that the problem might be some sort of battery drain (e.g. light left on) when the car is parked. I shouldn't be amazed when a business has great service even when they DON'T sell you anything, but it's nice to know that honest people can still be found. I'll definitely be heading to Battery X-Change in Oregon City the next time I actually do need a new car battery!

These guys go above and beyond. Have stayed open late for me. Will not sell you something unless you absolutely need it. Honest, great customer service, and great people.

Super fast service, had my new battery picked and installed within 10 minutes of me arriving. Friendly staff as well, definitely recommend.

Pulled in with, what I thought, was a bad battery. He ran a test. Told me my battery was great. Didn't try to upsell me and was very nice . Will definitely be back.

I've been dealing with the Oregon City store for many years and once again they went above and beyond to help me get a battery for the 2002 T Bird. The size that Ford says it calls for not only wouldn't fit, and no one carries it. Trevor took time to calculate measurements and hooked me up with a better, stronger battery that I was able to fit into the T Bird. Thank you again Trevor for your superior customer service!!!

Came in there at 4:50pm on Monday 2-22-21 with a bad alternator. I called Canby Ford they said 45min to 1hr job. Evan at battery exchange told me about about the same. So I asked if we could get the ball rolling and he looked at me and said it’s 5:00 we close in 30min. I understand you don’t wanna work late but knowing a customer might not make it far running on just battery power I would think there would be an exception. I have owned my company 24yrs and would never turn a customer away like that. With that being said they will never see one of my cars come threw there ever again.

Had a starter issue and the first one died. The put a new one back in. I had a wrap to help keep the starter cooler. They installed the starter with the wrap. But did a poor job putting the wrap over the starter. This caused starter to ground out. I called and there reasoning was we told you it may happen. Went to other shop and it cost me other 165 dollars to have it installed right. Oh and the part is that it fried my clutch pedal switch. So a $100 starter now cost me $400 dollars. You have been warned, was a customer but can no longer trust the company.

I ended up with a dead car battery that I didn't need for a core deposit, brought it here and there friendly staff gave me a nice bit of money and some interesting education on 12v electrical stuff. While I was there they helped another patron identify the obscure battery he needed for some unusual device. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

I came in at around 4pm, an hour and a half before closing. My other truck was being worked on, and my only other truck I had to get to work and back needed an alternator. The gentlemen working at the time helped me out and rushed an alternator over to put in my truck before closing. Definitely going back for any of my electrical needs. Five stars all around.

great prices! I'm a dealer and I have found this place has better prices compared to all the other used battery dealers in the area. Also they seem to have more batteries in stock on demand than the other places that I have seen. Sometimes I'll even drive farther just so I can get the battery here because I know I'll be able to get the right one and get it installed efficiently.

Evan and his team rocks! They went above and beyond to fix an issue we had from a different location while travelling in our RV. Complete lifesavers! If I could give Evan 10 stars, I would! Will visit them again when I'm in the area.

Let's give this place a review worth the effort these guys put in to your car! I would have to say that these guys should change their logo to home of the last honest mechanic. They are truthful and knowledgable about you cars electrical needs. From alternators, started to batteries they get the job done.

Eployees are great. They are very helpful, honest, and friendly. They offer a variety of services and advice. You can't go wrong with battery x-change. I've been going here for my entire adult life, and have never failed me. One time they even called me to tell me that something I had requested didn't need to be done. They had checked it out (for free) ,and found it to be in working order. They saved me a bunch of money with their honesty. I highly recommend this business. They are conveniently located (the one I go to) in oregon city on the corner opposite the 7-11 minimart, and next door to a great place to eat, the super torta. When you are in need of electrical assistance for your vehicles, just go to baterry x-change.

Good honest people. I am actually getting my starter fixed by them right now, because they were able to give me the best deal. At first I thought my van needed a battery, and they wouldn't sell me one because they didn't think that was the issue. After i insisted on buying one from them anyway, and it didn't work they did free testing on it for me, and found out it was the starter. They gave me a very good deal, and have been very helpful. I'm happy to have them here to help me with a starter.

Nice enough, did a free test. But they did misdiagnose the car, and it would have cost me more than going to the dealership for a recall that we were not informed about. Will come back if we need a battery or alternator in the future.

I drove in to the parking lot and told a guy working there that I needed a new battery; he had me pull my car into the shop and ran some tests on my old battery, and discovered that my battery was simply discharged but probably healthy otherwise. Then he helped improve the connection of my auxiliary battery to my main battery (I had attached it in a makeshift way), just a few bucks for the parts. It would have been really easy for him to sell me a new battery, because I was convinced I needed one when I pulled in, but he did the honest thing and I appreciated that.

I have been buying my car and motorcycle batteries here for over 20 yrs. They have helped me with troubleshooting and provided service on my batteries they didn't have to do. I always get a good battery and a good price. Batteries are so generic there's just no sense spending more for a big brand. I'm just leaving this because of the guy that wanted them to push his vehicle. Sorry not their job and most people over 30 don't push cars and trucks without bad consequences to their backs.I have watched them crawling inside big RV's to/replace fix whole banks of batteries and never grumble. Tough dirty work that I wouldn't want. They're a small shop and it can busy there for sure.

I went in there this morning after my car wouldnt start, and then kept sputtering or dying while it was left running. The employee working, David, was super friendly, and seeing that i was completely ignorant, explained what was going on, and instead of selling me a new battery or anything, just put a few minutes into checking it out, and then cleaning up my battery and the corrosion that had occurred. The truck started up just fine afterwards, and they didnt charge me a dime. Great guys, and will definitely remember them next time i need a new battery!

Yeah because pushing your POS around is their problem. You think the company or insurance will cover the OLD guys if they get injured pushing your car around? Sounds like the blame game to me. Anyway , I had a great experience there, the price was the best around and the service was great as well. Sure its a couple older guys there,so what ? They did all the work, it was quick and the cheapest I found.
