Traveled from New Mexico through Baker city and ended up having mechanical problems on our way to the Grasshopper fire. Call roadrunner they Showed up in a timely manner, but charged $500 to tow a truck 1 mile to a local shop. Over priced
We called on a Sunday evening after transmission issues popped up on a roadtrip. Dispatcher was super helpful and kind and helped us get all the way to Boise. Clean truck, friendly driver.
Great company, helped get our Super C RV to Grumpys repair shop for a quick fix. Responded very quickly and were very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this company.
James was my tow truck driver. He was amazing and got me out of a very uncomfortable predicament fast. He is extremely knowledgeable. James is an amazing human being. Humanity, professional, and reassuring. I would give more stars if I could.
Excellent tow company, and excellent service. My husband and I broke down a mile after leaving the rest area in La Grande. Our clutch completely failed and left us stranded. This company was very quick to respond and send a tow driver. The tow driver was very professional, got us hooked up quickly, and got our truck and trailer safely to Ontario Oregon. He even stopped and allowed us to step into the TA for a bathroom break and to grab a snack while he did his safety check. I know tow companies get a bad reputation due to the cost, but this service was worth every penny, and I still feel for all the hard work the driver did, that the expense was still reasonable. Paying for the service wasn't overly complicated either, they take card & comcheck. When unhooking our truck, the driver even had good things to say about the shop he was dropping the truck off at, which turned out well for us also. I hope if we ever need a tow again, that we get a company and driver as good as this one. Thank you for taking such good care of us. I believe the drivers name was James.
James is the guy you want towing your truck w/ camper in below zero temps in the snow. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly & had such a great attitude. He took good care not only of our truck/camper, but us, too.
Despite the fact that we went with another towing company I wanted to put this review out there for others to know what type of people they were working with when it came to towing companies. Laura was the woman my husband was speaking with last while we were trying to figure out what towing company to go with for cost and insurance coverage. Please keep in mind that all three companies we were speaking to were all busy and waiting to find out if they were being dispatched on what seemed like it was going to be a very long large call out. Still though when she hadn't heard back from us she took the time out to call us back and check in on us. They were all so willing to give each others names out thinking about us stuck on the road with our little fur babies. Helping us figure what mechanic to go to for our truck and to get us back on the road the fastest and safest. I am also going to admit that I think it might just be a Baker City Oregon thing with these people but I have never been somewhere where everyone I met was amazing and so kind. I will never forget you guys and I will always be grateful that you made me feel so not alone while we were stuck on the side of the road in the cold snow.
A huge shout out to James with roadrunner towing!!! He was very professional and very positive that he could get my truck up and running again so that I could safely get to my hotel. Not only have he got me up and running he followed me to my hotel because I did not have working tail lights. He was very polite and very helpful he also gave me so option to make sure that I was able to get home safely the next day. I highly recommend these guys and I will be calling in the future for assistance again. Thanks James
Being a tow truck operator myself traveling to a different state for another towing gig my personal truck happened to break down just outside of baker city Oregon even through the mess with AAA and the multiple phone calls trying to find help these guys were awesome gave us a ETA and met the ETA on arrival customer service was excellent very friendly very efficient as a tow truck operator I would recommend these guys to anyone in the Oregon area or traveling through the Oregon area GREAT WORK GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRULY APPRECIATE YOU GUYS
We were in a predicament when the tow truck driver showed up he was very friendly very helpful and overboard with all his advice and we took it and ended up having a great time thank you keep up the good work
Nice gal answered the phone but afterhours tow had so many attached fees i called another more "superior" company for a price 2/3rds what roadrunner wanted... The break point was the 3%credit card fee....come on.
6 weeks ago my truck broke down in the late evening on 84W between Baker City and Ontario. James came out with the heavy wrecker and towed me back to LaGrande. Very professional, quick, and had great conversation. He was also able to drop me off at the motel after we dropped off the truck. I hope I do t need your services again, but I will call you again if the need arises. Thanks for making an awful situation a little more relaxing!!!
My travel trailer had a bearing go out and they came and rescued me. It took special machinery and the driver was incredibly thorough and careful. Plus, he was amazingly good spirited despite the distance and difficulty he had to go through to help me! He was a real professional!
I had my family of six (3 young kids) in our mini van when we hit a 4x4 buck over 1,000 miles away from home. The gentlemen who responded with the tow truck and passenger vehicle were extremely friendly and professional. Their kindness helped us through such an unfortunate event. When the highway closed and all trucks had to exit, these guys were awesome, helping all of us get back on the road next morning after everyone got stuck to the ground on the ice and deep snow. Thanks, guys!!! :)
So very nice and kind. My fuel line ruptured in the parking lot of my hotel. The came and towed it (12 passenger van) to the mechanic and gave me a ride back. Really appreciate how the driver treated me. He was very kind and professional. Definitely use them again!
