Called to talk about the damage done to my vehicle in there care and was told to take my vehicle and shove it and refuse to acknowledge the damage that wasn’t present when it was dropped off that was here when I picked it up. Wants to charge me more to fix what he broke. Charged me 3300 for an engine misfire that is worse than before he worked on it. Vehicle wouldn’t start the morning after I picked it up. Absolutely worse experience with a mechanic I’ve had. Charge people thousands to not fix the issue and to break parts off my vehicle.
Terrible service terrible communication I brought my van in for an engine misfire spent over 3000 dollars for the problem to be worse than when I dropped it off the employees broke off parts of my van and then hung up on me when I called to address it. Was told I’d have my van back by the end of the week about 5 days in total I dropped my van off in February and now halfway through march I got it back 3200 more broke and the problem I took it in there for is worse than ever. Don’t waste your time or money. Over charge and under sell. Off to go pay another 3200 on a mechanic who will actually fix it not just steal my money.
Nostalgic Auto Garage came to my rescue. My 2012 honda civic needed some work to get it back on the road safely since my daughter had just wrecked her car. I called them Saturday morning. I was able to get my car in that same day and all repairs were completed that day. The bill ended up being less than originally quoted and the car runs great! I am so thankful and will be using them again for future needs.
Nick is an great man and awesome mechanic and plan to continue business in the future. Was great with my beat up Chevy Silverado so he can work on just about anything.
Nostalgic Auto Garage knocked it out of the park. They were able to quickly identify the issue with my Dodge Charger and fixed it right the first time by rebuilding the engine. The quote was more than fair, and when the final bill came in, it was actually lower than expected!! This says a lot about the integrity, and professionalism of the business!

Highly recommended.worked on my ford f150 ecoboost with a coolant leak. Was done on the same day with no issues.Was even dropped off back home while the truck was going to be worked on. Came with a 2 yr warranty on his work and parts. Bring your vehicle to this shop to be worked on,looked at or diagnosed..honest owner/mechanic....highly recommended.
I’m very happy with my experience here. I was in and out in less than two hours after a last minute 4:30 pm on a Friday night car wouldn’t start situation. I couldn’t have asked for nicer people to do business with. I highly recommend Nicholas and his crew. I’ll go back for my next oil change for sure.
I was riding with my daughter to a college visit. My daughter hit a large pothole. The passenger's side front tire blew. After putting on the spare. We went to get a new tire. In Stillwater we went to Walmart. It did not have the size needed. Then to Dicount tires. Big Joe told me that something more important than a tire was going on. He said the car was smoking heavily when I pulled in. He said he thought the head gasket maybe shot. He told me they do not do engine work. He the told me about Nostalgic auto garage. He said the Owner Nic would treat me right. I drove the 8 miles to Perkins. It was easy to find. I told Nic what was going on. He proceeded to do several test to rule out the possibilities. He was fairly certain that the head gasket was blown. He then took another 15 minutes to take out spark plugs and check with a small flexible camera each one. He found it on the third hole. Showed me the evidence where the coolant had leaked in. Very thorough with his work. He gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. He was honest and a man the stands behind his work. His wife made us feel so welcome. With what was a terrible situation. The best possible outcome was what we got. Thank you so much Nic. If you need engine work or auto body and painting.
