An Okmulgee institution. A vital resource for small family farms and ranches. Consistently fair prices for all metal scrap and stock (don't waste your gas driving to tulsa for a couple extra pennies). The employees and staff are simply kind, courteous, hard working, efficient and respectful of all. There's a reason they've been around so long.
Ott has been here for so long! This man is like family and is so sweet. If you can, separate your metals for better prices. He has the best prices around for aluminum. If you need something, you can also search the yard for parts.
Used to be a great place now they won't let anyone in they barely pay anything and today I tried to go before closing and just missed it. Instead of just saying we're closed the man at the desk yelled at me " we close at three! NOT THREE TEN NOT THREE THIRTY THREE!" i used to go here all the time to sell scrap and to pick for treasures sadly those days are over I won't be back.
They do not give a fair price on scrap metal. I would like to see some competition open up and do fair business. I'm from Tulsa so it's obvious that they treat customers this way because they know there is nowhere else close to go that is close and so they think they can. Someone needs to show them up and how it's done!
I took my grandsons', ages 8 and 11; to sell their metal, they had worked hard and had a lot of weight in solid steel and made only $4. It told them that all their work was for nothing
Total rip off wouldn't go back there even if I was desperate they don't pay hardly nothing . I took a bunch of rims some steel some aluminum . I had a heavy load of metal and got $46. I would have gotten 3 times as much in Tulsa. The only upside is they are open on Saturday. But that's not worth it I should have waited til Monday I will not be going there ever again would give negative stars if I could
Nice employees & very quick on the job. Our visit there only took about 15 mins unless we were looking for something that we needed to search for. Although we were directed by the yard employees on what area to look in. Very helpful.

For me, looking around a scrap yard is kind a like treasure hunting. I enjoyed it. 4 stars only because of the mud I had to walk through (but sometimes that's just part of it)
The folks working the scales AND the folks working the junkyard are a very fantastic crew. Thank you all for consistently being very kind and always having plenty of patience with me.
