They made u roll up on scale to weight n pull off the scrap that r actually precious metal like copper wires, pop can, aluminum siding to weigh in the bin on the scale .. Y'all need to learn bout Wichita scrap yard they weight pop can in the bin on the scale . Y'all doing weighting vehicles... Sound rip off

I hate when you look up hours of operation on website and in this case says is open until 430 but when you drive out a couple of minutes after 4. Gate is closed with sign that reads closes at 4. No consideration for other people
Ive edited this review from my original wording as It was not proper. My original review covered my sale of carbide. I took carbide in for my company I worked at and recieved $8/lb. With that being a good price I returned the next day with my personal collection of carbide, figuring the proper thing was to say it was personal and not with my company, I recieved $4/lb. While I did expect a hit to price due to personal and not buisness a 50% price decrease was not expected. I will say I should have gotten to know how this scrap yard worked before i sold as each one has differnt markups/penalties for being personal vs buisness.
Now an addition: While I am still frustrated with this i went back today as the drive to enid or okc would have basically cost what the scrap did. With permission from my company I sold it under their name and recieved a fair price. I have increase it to three stars as I feel the original one star was not quite warranted and an added star for working with me today. But I would always call up before you go and get a price based on being a personal sale.
This scrap. Yard is a rip off don't waste your time or gas coming out here to cash in your materials I can't they just rip me off I had 20 pounds of copper and they gave me brass price at I guess the owner doesn't care his customers are being rip off by there employees wow what scam I wont ever come back to this place I highly suggest make the drive to Stillwater it would worth it not to rip off can't believe how there employees treat there customer completely unexcepable this place should be shut down
Ponca iron is paying top dollar for scrap! #1Copper was $3.50 lb. For example. Got old junk laying around? Turn it into spare cash, quickly! Gotta say hi to the office lady's too! Always a good deal.
