Great experience. I got there as they were closing and they opened up for me and one employee that I wish I would’ve got his name help me through the whole process.
Had a fantastic experience getting a weight slip completed so that I could get a license plate for my new trailer. I spoke with the cashier and she informed me that I could head up to the scale and would be helped from there. After getting the weight taken I headed back in to the office and the cashier printed and filled out a weight slip for me. It only cost $10 to have a trailer weight taken and form printed but be sure to bring cash because card is not accepted. Took the weight form to the BMV and everything went off without a hitch ;)
Went there to have my trailer weighed. Super inexpensive and super friendly! They gave my daughter a donut and were just all around very kind. Every waved as I left and we left with big smiles on our faces. Thank you for making a silly errand into a fun memory!
Good place to pick up a load. Go in, a guy tells you where to scale and dock, 30 mins done loading, go to the gate office get your paper. Like in and out. Thanks SA.
Not sure what changed here. I used to use PSC a lot. Last few times I got pricing they where way under the other yards. Now I’m told you can’t even call to get pricing. To many other options for this headache
I do not recommend taking scrap metal to this place. Ive been there twice and have had problems both times. The last time my son took scrap romex wire to this place they gave him the wrong price. I called twice to talk with someone and had to leave messages and received no response back. Im my opinion these people are crooks that blatantly steal from the public.
Sold them the Aluminum Siding that I tore off my house during my Vinyl Siding project. The bay they directed me to to dump the siding was flooded and looked like a cesspool. Not a pleasant experience emptying my trailer into the cesspool (fortunately I was able to stay out of the cesspool during most of the unloading by standing in my trailer while completing the unloading). Perhaps they should fix the drainage system in that bay. I’ll go elsewhere for the balance of my project.
This place gave me great customer support and were able to take scrap off my hands from a project I've been working on--- renovating my basement. Gave me a good price that I was happy with, made sure I was satisfied with the deal, and sent me on my way. Besides not being able to easily find the cashiers desk (my fault), it was a flawless experience! Will be back!
Great if you are driving up on scale and dumping iron/steel. If you got to go to other building for alum. and copper you might as well go somewhere else. The guys over there act as if you are waking them up. I even heard one moan and say dont you guys got something better to do, when someone pulled up behind me. No thanx. If you dont want to work there then why do you. Makes for a uncomfortable time. Been that way for 2 years i only go for steel. Guys need to clean house.
Get somebody in there with a smile. I'd rather be pulled over than do that
Easy to get to. Easy in and out. Also, they have a separate, sort of express, location to drop off smaller amounts of aluminum and other metals. I've found the staff to be friendlier and more helpful than some other places in Barberton. Really like the new ATM cash dispenser in the main lot!
If you walk in they sometimes can be very rude and lazy like I mean u chose the job the customers didn't chose it for you we are just trying to make a lil extra $$""' and recycle why should we get your bad day aftermath we still love you guys just simmer down a bit lol
To be completely honest I have never had a bad experience here. everybody has always been friendly, they verify your identity to make sure you're not selling stolen Metals, which is to me a good thing because I don't want to get in trouble for selling stolenmetals, and it is good to know that if anything of mine is ever stolen and scrapped, they won't be scrapping it there. the prices are fair I would say, though I usually only go during Earth Day / Earth week, because I like to save up cans and that's the only way it is really worth it. It's nothing against this place, it's just that you need a lot of aluminum cans for it to be worth it LOL. everybody is friendly, and they keep it clean enough to the point where you don't pop you tires while driving through to dump off your Metals 😃😃 conveniently located in Barberton, and they also now have a payment ATM to speed up the process 😎😎 I recommend this place to everybody who wants to go scrapping in the Barberton area, and if you live outside of the Barberton area you can come here too.
Horrible prices! The one guy seemed like I was inconveniencing him, like he better things to do but his job! This place is a complete rip off and I will not be back. $30 for a catalytic converter last week. This week the same exact catalytic converter from the same truck was $10. You guys are crooks plain and simple and/or have idiots working for you.
Rude and mean, guy acted like I was ruining his day because my scrap wasn't perfectly sorted. I could understand the frustration if they were busy, but no one else was there before me or after.
There's a scrap yard in Brunswick called decco alloys, I would call them first because their prices on almost everything is sooo much higher, sometimes well over 50 cents a pound, so if you have 100 pounds psc will give you 80 and decco will give you 130, it's well worth the trip
