While on a family trip we had brake trouble on the highway and were forced to pull over into a rest area. After struggling to make repairs myself due to lack of tools we spotted an Osburn Towing truck in the parking lot. I approached the driver, Ryan, told him about our situation, and asked if had any tools on him. He immediately handed over the right tool and offered his expert advice. He even got his own hands dirty to help.
I thank Ryan for being so helpful and friendly. I also thank Osburn Towing for having such a great employee on their hands.
Josh and the team at Osburn were incredible to work with. While other companies were suggesting 8+ hours for service, Osburn drove over 40 miles to tow my disabled vehicle 3.5 miles without hesitation. The arrived with the right equipment, and with what appears to be a new and clean truck too! They had all the technology needed to get my truck out of a unique spot within harm. Great communication, great result, and they treated my vehicle like their own. I’d highly suggest Osburn to any friend of family. Thank you Osburn Towning! Had the pleasure of driving near one of their tow trucks today. I wouldn’t trust them to tow me considering their erratic and dangerous driving. They got so close to my rear bumper I could almost feel the drivers breath on the back of my neck. They were driving roughly 85 in a 55 on route 8. Tried to swerve around the turning lane off of 8 to go onto Howe. Keep in mind there were about 3 cars making the turn. And when they did finally come to a stop, nearly rolled through an suv stopped at a red light. Check your drivers. This is a liability to your business and a major accident waiting to happen. If you’re going to drive so reckless, Atleast make sure you’re not in a company vehicle.
I assume it wasn't the owner driving the truck, but some unstable guy was driving on the highway hauling two vehicles and driving over 85mph. He kept cutting in and out of traffic and was extremely unsafe. When we got beside him, we could see that he was throwing his hands around and screaming at drivers, even though he was the one cutting them off. I sure wouldn't be happy if my vehicle was being transported this way.
They came to my rescue on Christmas eve, when I lost my driveshaft driving down a busy and snowy highway. They came in less than 40 minutes, and charged me a very reasonable rate. Very friendly while doing this too! Couldn't ask for better service. Hopefully I never need a tow again, but if I do, I will definitely call Osburn Towing again!
