My car broke down and we were 15 min away from our hotel. I had Progressive get us towed from the parking lot back to our house so we could fix the broken belt. Kinney's is who came out and they were great. They let us know when they were 15 min out and helped my dad get the car dropped off in a direction to make working on it easy. Usually I have had to wait hours for a tow but not with Kinney's!
Above 5 star, prompt response, extremely polite, very careful and respectful handling of my vehicle. Dispatched tow company is picked by insurance, but otherwise, I would select Kinney's for special needs. Thanks!
Adam was very friendly and professional, when my husband's and I , vechile engine decided to die on the highway exit yesterday . He came in a very timely manner and made us feel at ease. We rode with him to drop of the vechile it was a bit of a drive. He's is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend him and this place for towing.

I could not have asked for better roadside assistance. On the side of the road with boat and trailer and no transmission fluid, Kinney’s Automotive and Towing service came to my rescue. The flatbed truck operator was a master of his trade. With minimum area to work, both during onload and offload, Drew nailed it, and I mean NAILED IT! In all respects, his operational tasks were diligently and masterfully performed. It was a treat to watch a professional at work. Great experience! Our car slipped off the driveway with all the ice and I called for help getting it out of the mud and snow pit we created as a result. I have had 3 dealings with this place in the last few weeks 1st and 3rd time the driver's were great friendly helpful and I would use those 2 driver's again.
The 2nd driver from this morning gives other tow truck drivers a bad name. He was a jerk from the moment he got on-site.
When he got to our house he called my dad and when he told him where he needed to drop the car he just hung up on him.
His attitude absolutely sucked from moment one and if I ever called back for a tow and he showed up I wouldn't let him help me.
Had an unexpected car issue while in Norton. Scheduled a tow through my insurance company. Kinney's was on site in approximately 20 minutes, had my car on their flat bed and towed to my preferred destination in less than 30 minutes. Very professional, helpful and fast. Highly recommended.
Great service! Drew arrived quickly and safely loaded my vehicle onto the tow truck and took it to the destination. He helped me get the truck into neutral and he provided me with photos of the truck when it arrived, disconnected the battery, and put my keys in the drop box. Excellent service, thank you Drew!
Drew absolutely saved the day on Christmas Eve. Very quick, professional, and courteous. Really knows what he is doing. you cannot go wrong with him, next time my car breaks down I’m even going to call and ask for him.
Absolutely terrible. When the driver was hoisting my car onto the truck the chain came off and you could hear it ripping things apart. When he dropped the car off the driver didnt realize that there was a camera. You could see the front end dragging and falling apart as he unloaded the car. He then stacked up the front end, called the company, took pictures, kicked part of it under the car and left (all on video). The company refuses to take responsibility even though there's a video and they clearly are at fault
My son’s car was stranded at the intersection of 6 corners at Chapel Hill with a dead battery and bad alternator. We couldn’t even put the hazard lights on and was afraid someone was going to come over the hill and hit it. Our insurance company told us that it could take up to 2 hours for someone to come tow it. Never being in a situation like that we were not prepared on how to handle a car that we couldn’t even put into neutral to get out of the way. In hindsight, I should have informed the police or at least left a note, but we didn’t. We left and not long after the police came to impound our abandoned car. Drew from Kinneys showed up and talked to the officer to had already called for their own tow truck that would have cost us hundreds of dollars to get our car back. He saved us from a lot more expensive than what we were already in for. It’s refreshing to run into good people who do their job well! A+++ service!!!
I recently had an exceptional experience with Kinny's Towing with a tow driver named Adam. When my car wouldn't start, I filed a claim with my roadside service. Within just two minutes, Adam from Kinny's called me and was already five minutes away from my car's location. Although I wasn't with the car at the time, Adam reassured me that he had experience with push-button start vehicles. He offered to see if he could put the car in neutral on the flatbed truck without needing me to return to the car.
Ten minutes later, he called back to confirm that he had successfully secured my car and was on his way to drop it off at the shop. Throughout the entire process, Adam was incredibly nice and understanding. This was the best customer service I've ever received from a towing company. Adam's expertise and outstanding service truly went above and beyond—I believe he deserves a raise for his excellent work!
I was stranded at a rest stop at night, with a vehicle that was undriveable. My insurance company' roadside assistance connected me with these great people. The gentleman who called me to say his driver was enroute, asked to make sure I was safe, and assured me the tow truck be be there asap. The tow driver then called to say it would be less than 30 minutes! What a huge relief! And then the dispatch called back to ensure that I had heard from the driver. Great service! 10/10 - when the driver arrived he was courteous, and efficient. These guys made a really bad night so much easier. Thank you!!
I had a sudden towing need and Kinney's was on-call for my roadside assistance. They were the best experience I've ever had with a towing company: they kept in contact, giving me updated info as I needed it and my driver, Adam was great! He got my car on his truck with such easy professionalism and his friendly personality was just such a great perk - especially when you're getting your car towed, you're not having the best day! We got to the dealership in record time during rush hour no less, and Adam was the perfect driver - I can't recommend him or his company more highly. The driver I had today, Adam, has come to my rescue twice now and has always been polite, courteous, and quick! I typically get picked up within 15-20 minutes of me requesting assistance and Adam always leaves my car in my driveway with enough room to accommodate my boyfriend's car. Lifesavers!
Really grateful for Kinney’s/Valley View Towing! They were able to send someone out in less than hour. My car was in a rather tricky position to tow, so Craig first took a look at everything and ended up finding the issue that was keeping my car stuck in park. I ended up not needing a tow due to a really quick fix - just a clip that was going bad. My car was able to make the drive to the shop without a tow. Kinney’s/Valley View was very knowledgeable and helpful - I will be recommending to family and friends in the area and will definitely call them first if I ever need a tow in the future. Kinney's, driver where awesome. Good Sam? Nothing but promises for a call back - NOTHING. Until, a driver called, was coming. It took 3 hours, walked to finally find a bathroom and I arrived back, just before tow. Driver knew exactly what was wrong. Towed, less than mile home, Quick fix, NOT complete, but enough to get going until payday. Communication with Good Sam, obviously relies on telecommuters, at home, distracted by kids, etc. Worst roadside (NOT DRIVER) service, Ever. 60 y/o, left to rot @گر کگ؟کگنکو کوصص/no communication, callback, EV,ER .
So, I just had my motorcycle towed after she had a hiccup..from about a hour away from my home..arranged through GEICO roadside assistance…first, the driver that showed up to assist me, I forget his name and I apologize!! But I do remember that he has a ‘06 Ultra Glide Harley.. anyways, he was an absolutely fantastic representative for your company!!! Truly a professional and really took the time to do the job right!! I am truly grateful for your companies assistance today!! I would recommend you to anybody and everybody!!!!!!
The wheel fell off my car and somehow, the tow truck driver was able to get my SUV on the flatbed without causing any further damage. He truly had skills. Highly recommend.
