The guy who attends at the Ravenna office is the most disrespectful, rude, jerk person, we called to ask questions about our car, he was talking to us as if we are dumbs, finally he hung the phone! Later when we showed up to pick the car up, this individual started an argument out of nothing, he threw my sister’s documents on her face! He also approached to my nephew intimidating him, and my family had to get out of that place to avoid an even worse situation.
We had to call the police to get back to the place and get our car back, it was a horrible experience!.
Don’t know if that guy is the manager or the owner, but he needs to get more educated regarding how to treat customers, the way this individual treated my family is completely unacceptable.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I can’t give a cero star review, that’s the only reason give them one.
I’m not sure if the person that answered the phone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but I was just calling to ask a few simple questions and immediately was given an attitude and talked to like I was dumb. Instead of talking without an attitude and explaining to me in a nicer way & tone , I was just given short, smart ass answers. Instead of helping me understand and not repeating the same thing with an attitude she could’ve Talked to me like a decent human being Instead of talking to me like im dumb/a five-year-old that doesn’t understand English. And then trying to tell me I have to pay 200 something dollars just to get my belongings out of the back of the car when Akron Police Department said that’s not true. I just need to get the release form but again was talked to like I’m dumb and kept repeating that I have to pay a certain amount When I already said I’m not picking up the vehicle I’m just getting my Bag with my medication’s in it. Very disrespectful need to have better customer service skills.
you guys need better dispatcher I said truck in speedway truck stop on I 76 exit 33. and there is a guy keep asking, me westbound or eastbound. what kind of stupid question is that?
This company is not reasonably priced at all. I asked to be take 1 mile away and they are trying to charge me $85. I don’t consider that to be reasonably priced.
I work for Schwans and the driver Danny went above and beyond with helping me even though he didn’t have to do , he did to get me back on the road safely.
Horrible woman answered the phone, super condescending. My mechanic is covering the price of the tow and when I was trying to explain this the woman just hung up on me? Worthless
I called my insurances road side assistance and was told to stay with the vehicle while they attempted to locate a tow company. I was told that 13 tow companies were called, and no one could come to aid. After doing some research on google, I came across Johnnys and gave the insurance company the number to Johnny's, and a little over an hour later (due to a major accident the same night), the driver arrived.
The call center operator for Johnny's was not only apologetic for the delay but said he'd prayed for our safety until a driver could arrive. He also told us to contact them to let him know we made it home safe.
The driver was efficient,friendly, and knowledgeable. I am grateful for Johnny's Towing.
I would recommend these guys to anybody. I was stuck in Pennsylvania 3 hours away and Keith kept in contact with me the whole time. He was on his way to get me and my car. I had to ride back in the truck with Keith and it was such a joy to have such a personable young man to ride back with very respectful and a good conversationalist. He went way above and beyond
After calling AAA and waiting over 6 hours for a call or a tow. I called Johnny's towing myself. They dispatched a big rig immediately to tow my motorhome 175 miles to my house. Great service.
Johnnys was literally a lifesaver for me I end up getting stuck and they got me out and tow me to the end of the corner. I really appreciate everything that this company has done for me. I can’t explain how big of the help that they were.
Corey T picked up my road tractor and tanker off I 77. He was quick to respond with an ETA, he was more than helpful and very professional. It was after hours and on a Sunday as well, people like him are why businesses succeed.
Slight damage to my truck after they towed it. Did not acknowledge to me. Just let me discover the damage on my own! Would never recommend this outfit.

On Tuesday morning, Nov.21, at 7:13 am, one of their drivers was in front of me in the passing lane of the express lane on 271 South (Trailer License Plate No. TTL7440; Truck ID: PUCO 603299T, USDOT 2969814).
After driving a few miles and seeing that there was no other driver in front of the driver, I flashed my lights hoping the driver would change lanes to allow me to pass. There were no drivers in the right lane. Instead of moving to the slower moving lane on the right, the driver brake-checked me. After another mile and seeing that there were no vehicles in the right lane and no drivers in the left for about 2,000 feet, I flashed my lights again. The driver slammed on his brakes this time. Finally, after a good number of miles, the driver finally moved into the right lane.
I emailed the owner of the company, and received no reply.
If their drivers play such games on the road with an empty trailer, what would they do with your vehicle on board? Your complaint will most likely be ignored.
I got my car stolen and it was sent there . I set a camera up in my car when I went there to look at it ( just to set them up ) and a worker went in my back seat and stole my hammer out of a red 2020 kia forte. The police will know about this . When you don't go to school and you don't have no goals in life . Go work here . White trash straight up
I would not recommend this business. Towing prices were incredibly high. My tow truck driver was nice, but the male in the office that I spoke to was completely unhelpful. I was told by a worker to call back into the office to speak to someone regarding my vehicle in a half hour. The male that answered refused to answer any of my questions regarding my vehicle and prices. Told me to call back tomorrow and hung up on me.
Absolutely five stars. Amazing customer service skills very fast. Friendly best towing company I've ever dealt with highly highly recommends I'm not sure why they are rated 3.5 because they should absolutely be five stars. It was phenomenal service and all of this happened on Easter when they should have been home with their families. They came out and got my family out of a bad position in a dangerous spot on the highway. Thanks guys. Your team is amazing
They were told to move the car to the repair shop the day of the accident. The said it would be moved by end of day. A week later it was still not moved and they cited an error on their end and reimbursed my insurance company for the storage fee but did not reimburse for the rental car I had to be in because of an error on their part.
My car died getting off the exit ramp, the state trooper called a tow service Johnny's came out to assist. The tow driver Josh was extremely helpful and super kind!! Would definitely recommend thus place to anyone!!
Maybe they thought because my car it was considered total, that they did not have to take care in causing more damage to it but I have pictures to how they left it parked in their yard...
Johnny's Auto & Truck Towing picked us up halfway between work and home (which is a seven hour drive) took us in with our vehicle and allowed us to wait for hours on a ride. Made us feel very comfortable and at home. Couldn't have asked to be treated better. Held our stuff until we were able to come get it. Prices were very fair. Highly recommend them.
My truck ended up at Johnny's after an accident, I had to wait 2 weeks to bail her out, due to my pay schedule. The gentleman running the shop when I went in was super nice and helpful. He was apologetic about the cost being so high. I completely understand its not his fault, he doesn't make the prices. We went out back and found my truck. She was in way worse shape than I initially realised. I was hoping I could drive it out, but that was not the case. I asked if they could tow it to my home (10 blocks away), he agreed to do so. I paid for the tow, and didn't pressure about when it had to be done. About 1 1/2 hours later the other driver brought her home. They were very accommodating and very pleasant. Both men were professional and helpful. I would recommend Johnny's and I will be calling them if I have any problems in the future.
Called to have car towed. They said it would be 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. After 2 hours of waiting for them I called, the girl on the phone asked me "are you the one with the Equinox? I said yes. She asked me if it was a front wheel drive or all wheel drive. I said it's an all wheel drive." She then told me "I will have someone out there in 1 to 2 hours." I told her to forget it.
I will never call them our driver waited 4 hours for them to show . not a good way to do business. They do not treat everyone the same .
450.00 to pull someone out not tow them they wanted 650.00 but took some off because driver complained about waiting 4 hours. If i could i would give them a big fat zero.
Gerry, the driver, was great! Having to wait over 7 hours for him to show up was not. We were told that someone would be there between 45 minutes to an hour. I called three times asking where the driver was and kept being told they were on their way. The third call I made I told them that I was calling a different company and they magically said someone would be there in five to ten minutes. All in all, I'll never use them again just because I wont be lied to.
So Mike The tow driver we had last night was absolutely phenomenal. He was so helpful & went out of his ways to make sure we were okay. This man definitely deserves recognition!!! I wish there were more people like him!
