My dad and I have never sold scrap metal before. If you are a novice, this is the place to go. The men are extremely approachable and knowledgeable . We had over 200lbs of various metals and we were in, out, and paid in under an hour (on a Saturday morning) :)
Gave me attitude about where to put my stuff was not a good experience. Very rude. Been going here for the last five years and today was the last so I went right across the street to United salvage company and was treated 1000 times better, and payed more!
Terrible place. They only paid me $16 for 600 pounds of iron brake rotors. I will never go here again! Metallico right across the street pays 4x as much, and the people there are much nicer.
I love taking my scrap metals to Harry's. I've bee coming to this place for many years. Even though there are a few other scrap yards in close proximity to Harry's, i wouldn't even consider taking my metals anywhere else!
Wouldn't let me sell due to having a ebike something that is green they said need a gas car or gas truck to sell poor business wow don't go there pass at all cost thanks for reading on earth day on earth day need car or truck no walk up
And these guys are super nice super friendly you treat them right they'll treat you right and at the same time you mouth off to him and I'll send you across the street I've seen it happen.
Best prices per pound for the type of scrap that I bring in. The employees are always respectful courteous friendly just all-around they boost up morale when I go there. It's a a easy fast in and out process to scrap there. It's not like other places where they're over your shoulder watching you unload. Scrapping there is fast in and out process doesn't take up much of my time I give this place a 10 star out of 10 that's how much I like to scrap there always giving you top dollar for your scrap.
Employees are friendly made me feel welcomed thought it was cool that they still used the old counter weight scales for light loads vary efficient and effective
I got ripped off to I took a aluminum rims there and when I got my ticket they charged me like it was chrome will never go back they don't even deserve the one-star I gave them
Will never go back there again. Second time of getting ripped off. Was paying attention to the scale and when I got my slip the weights were all wrong. The guy doing the scale was rude and lazy. Worst exprience.
Best scrap yard around. Jason is a great customer service person. He made my terrible day turn around and mad me laugh and put a smile on my face. They are fast and friendly. As for being a scrap yard I was impressed the place was neat and tidy. I recommend bring all your scraps to them and even those junk cars that maybe laying around. They give great prices!!!
I use to go there all the time. but the last 2 times I was there I got ripped off first time wrote down what scale said going in and going out when I got paid the slip was a hundred pounds off I figured honest mistake second time 200pounds off even arguing with them didn't matter they say there right an im wrong
