I’m leaving this review based on a recent experience while picking up parts on behalf of a friend’s business. I’m local to the area and was very close to the location, but Google Maps directed me to an empty lot and indicated I had arrived. The actual storefront was about a block back on the opposite side of the street, which wasn’t clear from the navigation. Because the business was close to closing time, I called for clarification and simple landmarks so I could get there quickly. Unfortunately, the phone interaction was frustrating. The gentleman I spoke with repeatedly talked over me and did not seem to listen when I explained that I was nearby, just misdirected by GPS. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, just a clear landmark so I could locate the storefront before closing. The tone of the call felt dismissive and unnecessarily condescending. As someone simply trying to pick up parts for a customer job, that interaction made the situation more stressful than it needed to be. When I arrived, there was a woman in the store who appeared kind and welcoming. I would have preferred to communicate with her, as the initial phone interaction set a tone that didn’t feel customer oriented. To be clear:I did successfully pick up what I came for, and I appreciate that the item was available. However, customer service especially over the phone when someone is trying to find your location matters. If directions are commonly confusing due to GPS placement, providing a clear landmark upfront could prevent situations like this in the future. I likely would not return personally unless necessary, but I hope this feedback is taken constructively.
Got an engine that looks like it rolled down the road for a mile and when I asked if I could not take it after it was pulled and paid for they said it would still cost me $100.00
