I recommend this place for recycling aluminum cans. For me, price is NOT the most important factor. Easy in and out and a driveway free from nails and sharp objects is most important. This place has easy access for alum can drop off and a clean drive. Note: Once your cans are weighed you have to empty the cans into a recycle bin. No problem.
It's pretty much unloading your vehicle yourself, they're pretty honest they're prices for what you bring in, really knowledgeable and easy to help you, tho whatever ya drive in, won't look as it will be when you leave, it's a very muddy lot with huge mud puddles watch getting out and getting back in. It's pretty easy coming in and getting around and leaving out, they take in everything scrap wise from aluminum cans to huge school busses, no propane tanks, hazardous materials, glass, wood, or brush an they won't take your x's no matter whatever you think of them an no mother in-laws, your supposed to take them to the zoo. This place is one of my favorite places I think to take your scrap
First time going. It was a bit confusing but the employees helped. Called for prices in the morning and went in the afternoon. Prices were exactly what they quoted and higher than anyone else in the area. Edit: went there again to take aluminum cans in for earth day. Prices were the same as another yard on the area. The guy at the scale was pretty rude and told someone to cut in front of me. Seems that the weight was off by quite a bit. Always weigh them at home before you come in just to be sure. I had 2 trash bags of cans and they adjusted the weight by 4 pounds to account for the bags. Just imagine how many times per day they do this and what it would add up to. Not sure if I'll becoming back here if there isn't a significant price difference. Edit: Went again and had a very pleasant experience. The scale guy came out multiple times and was really nice. Chatted a bit. There was a different guy in the non-ferrous building and he was ok. Changing my review from 3 to 4 stars.
