Im a self employed PDR tech and work out of my custom 06 trailblazer. I have routs I drive to every day putting miles on and abusing my truck means lots of maintenance to keep it on the road. I've been to a lot of self serve yards throughout the US, frequently, and had sticker shock at the register here. For small items that other yards do not even charge for or would have called miscellaneous trim and called it $5, it was over $70 for these small items and it wasn't like those were the only things I bought, so the shock was expecting a bill around $50 to $60 total based on what I pay for similar parts at 90% of other yards I go to or have been to and being over $150. These are things I could have just pocketed. Most every other yard has newer stuff that is not as picked over. This one has been a disappointment each time simply because of the pricing. Because I live outside the area, i'm not as likely to return as I do to other yards. Also, the cop there is a bit much. Trying to stay objective though, the employees were friendly, plenty of wheel barrels, good clean parking lot, quick check in, and I do appreciate them being open basically year round. I think we should all understand the business side of this and be glad that they can remain profitable to continue operating... but like I said, I was shocked at the register today and I usually go to salvage yards 130 times a year.

I traveled almost 2 hours to look for some parts, and to no avail. As I was leaving I asked Terry if she had any laying around. She put all her cards on the TABLE (if you're reading this Terry, I hope this clarifies who's writing this haha) She went above and beyond for me and got me a really cool piece of automotive history. Just like Joseph Haas I tried calling about part and pricing and was introduced to the virtual assistant that didn't know what a mirror was (was specific) saying it generically and specifically to the part needed. Btw if your not open on weekends you might want to update Google. Anyway,, it sent me to a representative that never answered and after about 7 min said sorry then hung up on me. Pull a part responded to Joseph's review and said call so and so number directly but that's the number I called and got the b. S. No side mirror for me I guess

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff😊Very easy to read computer print outs of vehicle makes and models of what you’re looking for and where there located in the yard always come here with my husband you can rent a golf cart only five dollars an hour $20 deposit always have fun and find interesting stuff, accept cores on parts, A mechanics heaven

They are always helpful and help you figure it out some how. Never had anyone that wasnt happy to work there. Like the pictures of the vehicle is a awesome ideal. The only thing if all pull a parts could get thier computers the same on when we check in at differnt pull a part it shows what pull a part we check in. Cause if we dont have a stamp then they want to charge us again other then that its great.

This company will not pick up the telephone, instead they will route you to a robo representative. After bypassing the robot 5+ times in order to speak with someone, they hung up and dropped the call each time. Do better.

Came in today to look for a few parts found the parts. A couple of the workers went out and actually took the parts off for me and that was great as I am an elderly gentleman. What a great experience at Pull-A-Part that I had today at the Akron location. Great staff friendly help what more could you ask for? The answer is nothing. Great job at Pull-A-Parts.

I came in today, 9-20-2023, looking for a drive shaft for my 1998 s10, and ended up having to get more parts than I initially thought I needed and didn’t have all the tools necessary to pull the parts. I asked for some help and they did more than asked. I really appreciate all the help that John gave me. He went above and beyond for me. All the staff did, but I didn’t manage to catch anyone else’s names. I highly recommend everyone on duty today to the next customers. You won’t be disappointed. Anyone in corporate reading this should take note on who was staffed today and acknowledge them for all their customer service, and going above and beyond what’s expected.

I'm giving them a two-star because some of the pricing at this place is ridiculous like a mass airflow sensor. They want $42 for it. Total when you can buy a brand new on Amazon for $27 and get it shipped to your house for free. Some things are worth the money, but things like that should not be the price that they're asking. I would definitely check their pricing before wasting your time. Going there to pull parts off of a car and them charging more than you can get a new part ship to your house.

Good little junkyard. Look at their website to check inventory and location of cars before you go. While you are in there check around a little as you may find a vehicle that has not been inventoried yet. Prices are fair and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Got a radiator as a first time customer, found out my transmission lines were on the wrong side so went to take it back because i ordered one online knowing pap only had the same radiator, and failed to tell me there was no cash refunds. offered store credit but thats useless since i will not be returning

The staff is very helpful, and there's a great deal of organization here. With a vast array of cars n trucks, with very detailed descriptions of where your make and model of vehicle is setting. Cars are stacked up on two sets of rims per tire. So plenty of room to move all over for the part needed. Great place

Have been going here for many years. They "might" not always have the part you need but that's the nature of the business. Very reasonable prices. Today I witnessed the staff treat a first time customer with the utmost respect by going above and beyond to explain their operations and setup. Probably gained a customer for life. Sold my car to them they gave me more than I was expecting also came to pick it up super quick once they got here took them no more than 5 minutes to go through with the transaction and no more than 15 minutes to have the car on the truck and leave with it very good experience!!
