I told him to his face about it man I'm standing right here you don't have to yell . I'm not listening not of course not I don't use up my important time for your waste of it. I recommend ferrus. They take good care of you and they have good character. And Integrity

  I only gave them one star because I had to give them something to leave a review!!! I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone especially if your a woman!! We were cheated on weight and they ran everything they could as sheet although everything was separated! Not to mention they tried to argue with me over what type of metal it was when my husband was the one who separated it and literally used to run a scrqp yard!! If you ask them they make all of there money off of Crack heads so they treat everyone as such!! I wasn't even worried about the money I just wanted to get rid of the stuff more than anything but that was a complete rip off and I feel others should know before being treated the same!!

  My late uncle used this scrapyard, then my mother and now me. I told them it was my first time scrapping so they made it a point to help me to sort my metals and to show me how everything works. Guys there are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend to anyone

  Not a scrap guy at all so really limited experience with this. Just take in replaced appliances, old gutters or siding and an occasional non core charge car part and such so once a year trip maybe. Anyway, the guys here always seem to be friendly and helpful. They seem to help me sort anything I have to get me higher prices for the different metals. They could easily take advantage of me if they wanted to but I never feel they do. No idea if they pay the highest rates but I feel they give a fair weight and I don’t call around so it works for me. It gets the junk out of my way and buys dinner. Hopefully you like them as much as I have to come to appreciate them.

  Took a barrel of yellow brass along with MANY other various metals. A barrel of brass that needed to be loaded on the truck with a forklift. Just a little background information here.... I take anywhere between 300-1200$ of scrap to them per month. Depending on the work we, as a business have taken on that month (Truck Repairs). Long story short they said I had 45lbs of brass, are you kidding? two full grown men couldn't lift it, it was loaded with a forklift. Then the man in the office goes on to tell me that they haven't stayed in business for 38 years ripping people off. I BUSTED you, I'm a woman, your embarrassed and I caught your :mistake" then proceeds to tell me I can take my business elsewhere, one customer will not hurt us. He doesn't know we are in there at least 3 times a month. As he counted my money heavily and with attitude he THEN threw the money in the slot, out of order. The guys unloading are very friendly. The men running the place, NOT SO MUCH.
