Took the bike in for a simple clutch replacement , came back with the casing leaking oil . Brought it back , and they replaced it after having to prove it was their own fault . Started having my clutch slip about 2 months later , it was just all rev and no go . Clutch was still engaging so I was a little confused . Took it to a different shop and after looking into the bike , he realized it was a simple as a readjustment. This being a Harley shop and a place where people pay good money to have there engines worked on and etc . This should be a simple job you would think . And on top of that got a brand new battery off of them ,Got the battery literally less than a year ago, one side is completely fried because they don’t know how to tighten up a few bolts . Absolutely ridiculous, not worth the wait or money in my honest opinion
No place special. Has some cheap parts changers working in the shop. Like anyplace else in Portsmouth usually hires whoever he can . I knew one of the “ mechanics” that was a union labor that was laid off at the time. I believe he might have changed a tire on his atv as a kid . Every time I drive by it appears to be the same bikes sitting outside .
I called them one Saturday wanting a rear tire for my bike . I usually order all my tires off eBay . Not a lot cheaper but alway get brand new rubber not a tire that’s been laying around for a year or so. Well back to my story the guy that answered called me back after checking to see if they had one in stock. Sure enough they did . I ask him the price and he was around $35 higher. But when I ask him the price he said “ $320 out the door “ I thought $35 buck screw it at least it’ll be done “ I’ll be right over”. A hour later I walked handed the man $320 just like he said . He told me 1 hour earlier “$320 out the door” I don’t know where he grew up but when you tell someone a price and put out the door directly behind it in a sentence that means that price is the most they’ll be paying when leaving. Not wait till they get there and then add about $40 on top of your out the door price . Hell I was thinking the $320 he had already added taxes and anything else they added to the final price was added together on his “out the door” price. I didn’t know he never understood what he was saying.
The name of this place is extremely misleading, they simply will not work on anything other than Harley's, they back this up by saying we have the knowledge and tools for Harley's only, this is in regards to simply changing a tire, so they're telling me that Harley's tire changes require special training and brand specific tools to do something as simple as changing a tire, and your mechanics can't figure out how to change any other brands? People ride thru town and get flats on all sorts of bikes, some of them could even be Honda's, God forbid a Kawasaki or, my God, what if a Suzuki rides into town and germta a flat, where would the people have to go to learn to change those tires, if it's Harley only the state it's frickin Harley only in your ad! That's the problem with people anymore, they simply have no integrity, no s respect, and apparently no time for any bikes that don't deafen and vibrate their riders all the way to the chiropractor with a stop over at the hearing aid store. Gimme a break

Rode in from out of town with a rear flat,they pulled a bike off the rack got me in and taken care of for a great price too

Met Dean and the guys in 2016 and he has taken care of me since. I can’t say enough about Junkyard Hogz and their quality of service. They’re the only ones that i let touch my bike!
I had a rockford fosgate stage 3 speaker system installed on my road glide special . Great work and sounds great. The guys were very nice and it was an enjoyable experience. Definitely recommended.
Had a flat tire traveling thru town. Two local gentlemen Les and Phil recommended Dean said he would help us out. Took us right in and fixed it in no time. Was a life saver. All the guys were awesome so nice and helpful. Cant say enough good things about them.
They need to chang the name .i got the opinion they think their better than anyone else.they made it clear ,its harleys they only work on.or i didnt seem to gave enough money ..need to change the name.!!!
