These guys helped me out while on vacation after Walmart screwed up my oil change twice. Didn’t overcharge me and tried to find what was the issue before sending me away. If they weren’t 500 miles away I’d recommend them to everyone back home but this is the best I can do.
They are very polite and do try to help you out. My only complaint is I have noticed that recently things haven’t been really getting done as well recently. We had them change out both headlights in my car. Then we had to take it back because one stopped working. Then took it back again because it stopped working again. Now it works but it filling up with water. I have tried to deal with it because I can’t keep going without a car but now it is getting mold in it. It’s frustrating because this is supposed to he brand new headlights that I can barely use less than two years after getting them put on. They are really good at not charging to fix their mistakes but I can’t keep putting my car in the garage every few months for the same issue
I've moved out of the area ,I sure wish I had an AJ's automotive to go to here. They always went above and beyond to take care of my auto needs. If your there I highly recommend them to you!
My mother in law took her 2017 Chevy equinox 4cyl for an oil leak repair. After they supposedly fixed it, it then had a rattle, it still leaked, it now also burned oil. She took it back, they supposedly fixed it again. Now it's barely running, leaking and burning almost 5qt of oil a week, engine makes strange noises and has low power at times. Also, my dad went there for brake caliper and pad replacement. He picked up the supposedly fixed truck and the master cylinder went out not even 1/4 mile down the road.
I feel like they're purposely sabotaging vehicles to keep you coming back ...just an opinion 😉
Update: The equinox is dead. Whatever they did caused a blockage in the system, damaging the internal components of the engine. That's the view of 2 other shops who couldn't figure out a way to fix it other than a full engine replacement. Before AJ's it only had a small oil leak. Maybe a quart of oil per month. She had to buy another car.
Absolutely some of the best people here. The mechanic who done work on my jeep was fast, clean, and very polite! I will be returning when I need work done. Thank you so much for an amazing service guys! You definitely have a repeat customer here!
Have used AJ’s 2 times would give 10 stars if I could, usually do my own work but time wouldn’t allow it, they installed an engine for me a few months ago (not an average job it was in an F550) usually you’d have to touch up a few things or return it to the shop for “adjustments” but not with these folks, I haven’t had to go back and fix or redo anything, Last week I had a Transmission installed in the same truck and again not a single issue, The cost was more than fair and we are 100% satisfied thanks a million!!
AJ'S Automotive Service has been our "go to" place for oil changes in our cars and we've always been very satisfied, not only with their work; but their prices are the best.
Jodi and Aaron are extremely helpful and (in my opinion) it would be very difficult to find a friendlier group of people to work on your vehicle. Just recently they repaired my Ford Escape which had a loud rattle and now it purrs like a kitten. Terrific job AJ'S!!! 👍 Thanks again!!!
I’m very happy to share my experience with AJs Automotive Service. After months of trying to diagnose and repair the oil consumption problem with our Audi Q5, and getting proposals for an engine replacement and a piston replacement for $10,000 to $16000, the car finally burned out a valve. I barely made it to Aaron and Jodi, and was incredibly happy with their kindness, competence and professionalism. His diagnosis and repair were excellent and the cost was a fraction of the previous proposals. If you need a car repair service, I recommend AJs!
I’ve used AJ’s for multiple repairs now and I can honestly say I’ve never dealt with a more honest, caring company. They text and check in on their work and really seem to care about their customers. Good people that will be fair and honest!
I am very pleased with the service I received at AJ’s on replacing the back brakes on my Tundra. I was given a ridiculous price elsewhere and was referred to AJ’s by several family members, who had received excellent service at reasonable prices. Jodi was extremely friendly and knowledgeable as to what my truck needed. I highly recommend them to everyone.
I have a 2001 Subaru Forester. I did to take it to another repair shop before I discovered AJ’s. They have repaired, oil leak, rear axle bearing, located a spark plug issue. I also take it to them for all my oil changes! They are very easy to work with and complete repairs in a timely manner as promised! They maintain contact via text messages for drop off reminders, statues of the repair and when to pick up! I have already recommended them to other customers.
I had a flat tire next door at the gas station and the folks at AJ's went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Highly recommend, super nice people.

Had my vehicle at Shoemakers told them we lready put a new alternator on. They put nowhere one on an charged me,that wasn't the problem. Towed it to AJ's it ws a fuel injector. Great job. Very friendly also will give expert advice. I'd definitely recommend

After Foster and Fankell closed, I was wondering where I could go for auto service and have complete trust in the mechanics. I was glad to see new owners take over, as it had been my #1 choice for over 35 years. AJ's has always treated me well and fixed the problem right away. They are honest and fair with pricing and all around good people to hang out with for a while.
This place is unbelievable! Friendly service, good communication, and they not only do great work, but it’s fast!...Great to have a shop like this in our little town of Minford,OH....Can’t say enough good things about them. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
