My car died on me a couple of days ago and I called Interstate Batteries on West Fourth Street, Mansfield, Ohio!!
They were so helpful and actually came to where I was and changed out the battery. They also let me know that I needed anew alternator so I was able to get it to the car repair shop to be fixed
Joel was very helpful on the phone and Jon was so prompt and helpful replacing my car battery!!
We are lucky enough to have a full Interstate distributor up here in mansfield. If you owned 11 cars and 9 motorcycles, as I do, you would have a sense of how much money and drama this saves. Or maybe you do, so you know!
Came to get my battery tested and they said the battery was bad and needed replaced asap. Took it elsewhere to get a second opinion before buying a brand new battery. After they tested it they said it was at 97 % and showed me a picture that the battery is only a little over a year old. Super disappointed. Do not take a vehicle here without a second opinion first!!
I have Interstate batteries in everything I own. The service here is great, plus they will install your new battery while you wait in a few minutes. Highly recommended.
Cannot express how great these people are. A far exceed my expectations. Thank you for all that you've done for me and my granddaughter. So update on my experience with this awesome company. My wife's work car was experiencing battery problems, so I took it to Interstate Batteries (I couldn't get the terminals to tighten up all the way) the same Tech that helped my granddaughter help me. I thought I needed my terminals replaced. No I didn't. Vince, this amazing Man and employee of Interstate Batteries, removed the terminals from my battery cleaned the terminals and battery post, tightened the terminals all the way and sprayed cleaner on the cables and did not charge me a dime. Talk about great customer service. Vince you're an awesome employee but I bet Interstate Batteries knows that.
I had two batteries for Cores. I asked them to check one of the batteries it checked good but needs charged. So I kept it and turned one in. The guys know what they're doing and that's definitely a good thing for business
Bought battery for lawn mower. Lasted 8 months and had a bad cell. Thought they would replace it but worker pretty indifferent that it didn’t last. Bought In February bad in September. Worker Said it had cell battery last more than 6 mo at then have to buy a brand new one. Admitted that the sell some batteries with bad cells “it happens some times” “3 or 4 per month”. Avoid because warranty only 6months.
I thought I would try rebuilding a battery pack for my cordless drill. It would save me money and give me something to do.

The crew at the store were extremely helpful and gave me many tips on the process of doing it myself.
I have been there a few times and found the people to be genuinely interested in getting you what you need!

I took my mess into the store where Vince and Alan showed me where my mistake was. I am very impressed with how willing they are to help!
Bought a battery spent just over 100 on it back on 5/21 less than a year. Had it tested and interstate said it was bad. Asked about new one and they asked for a receipt. They wrote 5/21 on battery, battery says on top it has a 2 year warranty. Lost receipt but now I have to buy a new one. NOT THERE!!! Changed from 1 star to 3. Son took battery over to at least get some $ back and I don't know if it was the 1 star or they decided to do right thing but they did honor the warranty. But if we didn't go back for core then we would've been out the money so all i can muster is 2 stars. Its a shame because im 51 and i have always gone there never an issue. Probably still will, my son won't but thats beside the point. Just found out it was a different person that knew nothing of previous issue and didn't say a word just gave him a new one. Inconsistent service. Wow train your people
Great place had my car in and out on a Saturday morning replace the battery for me and it was down in the inner fender then they took $50 off for no reason at all :-) excellent place highly recommended!
Great experience! Tested battery and had a new battery put in that took less than 5 minutes. Super fair price. Will always go here when I need a new battery!
No issues, I needed a new battery for Son's Power Wheels bike. They got me hooked up in about 10min and wasn't bad price wise. Facility was very clean and organized and the staff knowledgeable and helpful.

I'm extremely happy with the service this business provides. I've been there a couple of times within a month for two different vehicles. I've never had to wait, they got me right in and out. Good prices as well. Id reccomend this business if you need a new battery for your vehicle!
The staff at this establishment is horrible. I'm assuming that they probably deal with alot of negative people because normally people who are buying batteries probably aren't having a good day. But I have been dealing with them on a commercial basis for over 7 years now. I do not come in to their business negative, yet they almost always are. On a good note the guy who delivers batteries to customers/businesses is always great to work with
I just left here this morning (CHRISTMAS Eve) and was so impressed with their services. Lee and John were quick to get my battery replaced, offered options and weren’t pushy! Had an issue the other day with my battery on my 2015 Silverado. Took it to Interstate Battery and Vince Richardson took the time to test my battery which was weak. He explained my options of buying a used remanufactured, or new battery. I opted for a new one. Vince then changed my battery in my truck within 20 minutes I was in and out the door. Very professional employee and professional shop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be back myself.
This store exceeded my expectations on all ends of the spectrum. I felt like I could trust them from the minute I walked in. They explained what I needed at a great price. We all have to support local businesses like these who show integrity and hard work. I'll be going back to buy any kind of battery from car batteries to double A's.
I only shop for batteries at Interstate. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I always receive quick service. They have the best prices around. I would and do recommend Interstate to all my family and friends.

When I found my car battery dead this morning, I went back to Interstate. The employee tested the alternator and the battery. He explained what the results were and both were in good shape. He noticed the connector was loose and proceeded to clean it and tighten it. My battery was back to life and I was on my way. This was a courtesy they do for patrons. He could've led me to believe I needed to purchase a new battery when, in fact, it was a simple solution. I appreciate the integrity and honesty of this business.
Came down for a bike battery, left with that AND a car battery. The sale was good, 45 bucks for a recon battery, 2 years latter it still runs like it was brand new. They have a pretty good warranty for the price, and the workers down there have a pretty good idea of what they are talking about LOL. Leave parts stores for parts, these guys are for your battery needs.
