Call and ask for the price before you arrive. On my 2nd trip to this place I was again disappointed. When their website says “We pay top dollar”, it is not true.
I brought in some automotive batteries I needed to get rid of, (it’s on me, but I could not find a price online for them). But looking at three other places and all 3 of them giving exactly .18¢ per pound, I figured that the promised top dollar would be matching that, or maybe even slightly below due to price fluctuations. I still went because of location, closest to me.
Looking at my receipt and feeling the light cash in my hand upon leaving, I realized that “Top Dollar” today was .10¢/lb and not close to the competition’s .18.
I had 160lbs total so getting $16 vs $28 had I gone ANYWHERE else, I believe is significant enough for a fair warning to the public and they reiteration that unfortunately they don’t mean what they print.

Because of distance, i rolled the dice and again returned to this yard. Dumb move. I can't say I didn't know, but give them a chance anyway. I regretted it immediately. They argued that my aluminum wheels were "dirty"..? Went from .80¢ per pound to .65¢ per pound. When I asked if I could clean them and remove valve stems, they gave me a look of frustration like I was wasting their time.

I've been here twice now and have had nothing but great service. The girls up front are super friendly. Jonathan, in the back was nice and seemed to be a hard worker. Started coming here when Lancaster closed and I will continue.
My first time going there , everybody who worked there from the office guy to the gentlemen working in the yard was extremely helpful and polite explaining their process to me , great place to take your pallets/skids, they accept almost any kind of wooden pallets. Now instead of paying to dump my pallets at the landfill I will be taking them here so they get recycled or reused. Great place they also buy "scrap metal" there as well.
Very friendly service, easy location to find. Also very cute office for a recycling center with personal touches from their staff. Love that. Will return if I have anything to drop off! Thank you!
If you're not open on a holiday you need to contact Google and tell them your hours because guess what people will drive 30 minutes away when it says you're open on Google like God how hard is it And Jesus send them an email I know you can get on there and change hours yourselfworst worst worst

Called last Wednesday (6/5) and they told me they would take any wood or metal. They would take one of our old tires for $7. Went today with everything and were told they would not take any of it. Waste of a trip and uhaul money
I was in search of a recycling center that would consistently take aluminum cans and discovered Green Earth. The employees are at my car in a snap taking the bags and are friendly and pleasant. Check out their website for all the different items they take besides cans. They are in a very convenient location. I am very thankful I found this place.
Friendly people, but take a picture of the scales before and after weighing. When I weighed in the weight slip said I was 100# lighter than what the scales said. The weigh out numbers matched up.
Couldn't say nothing but the best for this recycling yard the receptionist are very nice and the guys in the yard will go above and beyond to help in any way possible I had a flat and they had an air hose for me to get some air just a bunch of outstanding people I highly recommend you take all your scrap metal to Green earth recycling where everyone who works there are outstanding people and down to earth..THANKS GUYS!
The staff here were very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions. Very satisfied with the price that they paid for everything as well. Would recommend!!
I had no idea what I was doing and the staff was extremely helpful and walked me through their process. I have no idea what the cost of scrap goes for but was happy with the amount. I'll be going to them again in the future.
This place is amazing. They are fair and very considerate. I will never again go to any other recycling center. I've found my new home. Thanks Hunter and Pete. Y'all rock.
Tried this place for the first time. Wow!!!! They actually helped me separate my recyclables to get the most money possible. No other place has done that for me before. Very honest and helpful. Definitely returning.
