First of all, I was a new customer to Port Clinton Auto Repair but was in need of a rather quick oil change an tire rotation. I used the online appointment feature for this. I received feed back and a phone call within hrs of doing so. I spoke with the owner wife, Lisa, an she was extremely nice and accommodating to help me. We actually chatted for quite awhile. Was able to get an appointment the next day. Now, keep in mind we had just had this major snow storm that day she had no employees as it was a level #3. My appointment was for 9:00 am on Wednesday. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jessica the front desk lady. She was the most pleasant an up beat person an willing to make my appointment as pleasant as possible. As I waited on waiting room there was coffee available and I was offered a courtesy ride back home! She constantly keep me updated on my service. I received a text message with a quote for my services needed which I could reject, accept or discuss with them before the work was performed. I also received an email with pictures of the inspection of the entire car. They checked everything thru out! As I got into my car, I noticed a "thank you" tag on my rear view mirror along with a business card of the mechanic that performed the service! And.....not to mention the bag of complimentary popcorn on the center console!! Oh, an did i mention i also got a $30 discount as i missplaced the coupon received in the mail. You better believe i just found a new car repair that I will use from hear on out!! No more going across the bridge to service. There service impeccable!! From start to finish we were kept aware of what was being done and how long it would take. Everyone we interacted with was polite and knowledgeable. Work was finished before estimated and we were called right away. Could not ask for better service than what we got.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and mechanic who explained everything during the diagnostic process on my 2017 Ford Fusion. They were all empathetic about my situation, a new engine was required.

Reasonable price, and I know the repairs will be done right and as agreed upon. And I appreciate their review of the entire car; it gives me a chance to plan/budget things that are identified that will soon need to be addressed.

Annabelle in the office was very informative and walked me through everything that was suggested to have done with my car. They are all very friendly and helpful there. I love the personal touch of putting popcorn in the car as a thank you.

Port Clinton Auto Repair has the friendliest service in the area. From Annabelle, the receptionist, to the service technicians, to the owners, Kim and Lisa, having your car fixed there is like getting together with family. They did an excellent job of repairing the front disc brakes on my 1967 Lincoln Continental convertible after they had locked up on me on Hwy 163. They also they gave it the loving care it needs by putting inside their garage each night when it wasn’t being worked on. The car has been restored to mint condition and they made sure it stayed that way. You can trust your vehicle to the crew and owners of Port Clinton Auto Repair.

Just Wow! Everyone is so very earnest, pleasant and knowledgeable. I dropped off the night before and received delivery of the vehicle upon complete. This is extremely helpful as I don’t always have a spare driver to take me. A list of next items to tackle was sent to me for future scheduling. Very much recommend this hometown business.

This shop and its staff were great !!! I had drove from Huntington, WV to our house in Port Clinton. My check engine light came on and I Googled to find a shop to have it taken into. The customer reviews were very good and the staff was very friendly and got the problem taken care of quickly and it was something simple and their tech was helpful in explaining the issue. Port Clinton Auto Repair came to our rescue when we were travelling home from vacation and had a tire blow. We are from Canada, happen to call them, after trying a few other places we found on a Google search. They had good reviews. They were kind on the phone, didn't have our specific tire in stock. They could get in the next day, but we hoped to carry on home same day. They went out of their way to help us locate one and help us secure transportation to pick it up(20 minutes away). There is a great car rental place right next door. They were closed by the time we got back with the tire, but we're willing to stay open for us if needed. They even left their jack out for us to use to be able to put our tire back on! We wouldn't hesitate in a heartbeat to return back to this business. Very accommodating and welcoming at a time, we felt helpless. Thank you for helping us get home!

Definitely would recommend this shop for care of your car. I brought my car in with an issue and they figured out what the problems were, explained it to me, & gave me a real estimate. I was kept informed along the way. The work was done for a fair price and done completely. They have worked on 3 of my cars over the years and have always given me great customer service

Service was as expected, very nice people but I was charged 2x more than I ever have been for an oil change and tire rotation. I do own a diesel Jeep grand Cherokee which takes 8 quarts of synthetic. $300+ and they didn’t even change my filthy air filter but suggested that I do so.

Best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. Annabelle was so sweet & knowledgeable and truly made it such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The tech explained very through what was being done. They got my car in & done same day without an appointment - very appreciative of that. 10/10 would recommend! Went in for an oil change. They thoroughly checked out my car and found a coolant leak. Along with several other serious problems which they fixed. Their thoroughness probably saved my engine. And I appreciate the friendly atmosphere of their shop.

Thankful the staff at Port Clinton Auto Repair was able to get me in for brakes before I got on the road for a roadtrip. Annabelle was on top of communicating the issues at hand, and The guys were efficient fixing the problems. I was back on the road and ready to go! Both Lisa and Annabelle always kept in the best communication to keep me in the loop and assured everything was handled with the warranty company. I was traveling from out of town and had a low tire. I tried a big box store for help and got a not very friendly response. I looked online and read a helpful review. I went in and was helped immediately and treated with kindness and respect. I’m a widow and appreciated how honest helpful and quickly I was taken care of. Amazing. I live hours away and they treated us better than any repair shop I have ever been to. I will do the drive without hesitation when my car needs more work, despite the 3 hour drive. Couldn't ask for better! Friendly, timely, professional, and affordable. Great experience having 4 tires installed, 4-wheel alignment, and full inspection. I waited while the car was serviced and brought back to the bay to inspect the work that was done. My service tech was Jonathon and he did an awesome job. He even spotted a missing piece, luckily nothing that would leave me stranded, and put on a replacement for me. Kim and Lisa were great to chat with and really love their business and their employees. I will tell everyone I can about how great of a job Port Clinton Auto Repair did on my 2010 Flex.
