Brian is a great mechanic and has been affordable. Dealerships and other places would have cost me a small fortune. I highly recommend Stars and Strips Automotive.
Brian has saved me a lot of money. Voss Honda told me I needed front brakes and rotors. This confused me because when I checked my past receipts, it hadn’t been but 25,000 miles since they were replaced previously. I had Brian look at them and he showed me that they still have more than half of their life left. Then, my wife had a little incident and I had to have a body shop fix a door. After getting the car back there was a very annoying rattle. 3 trips back to the body shop and it still rattled. So, I took it to Brian and guess what, no more rattle! I was going to trade it in for cheep but now I can get top dollar again. Brian is an honest, knowledgeable, easy guy to deal with. He’s earned my trust and at 64 years of age that’s not easy to do.
I witnessed an incredibly disturbing and offensive conversation taking place between the owner of this business and a delivery driver 2 feet away from the entrance. The conversation included openly racist remarks, stereotypes, and hate-filled generalizations about Black people. As a biracial person, I was deeply affected and made to feel unsafe simply standing nearby as I typically do.
It’s especially upsetting knowing that this business serves people of all races, and yet allows such harmful rhetoric to be spoken so casually and loudly. This is not just about “opinions”—this is about basic human decency and the kind of environment being fostered here.
I would caution anyone considering doing business here to be aware of the values and attitudes being displayed by those representing this shop.
Terrible. Took my car here to get my suspension fixed and he didn’t even bleed my brakes properly. The front struts he provided squeak loudly, and shortly after getting my car and barely driving it because of the brake issue, the rear had started to make a rear clanking noise, waaaayyyyy worse than what it was with my original worn struts. Would not recommend at all
I get the best service here , they will go above and beyond to make sure your car gets what it needs to be safe on the road and the men are very helpful and willing to work with you.
Brian and Jimmy are great guys and always very honest and fair. Many shops will try to tell people they need more than they do in order to inflate their bill and labor rates. You'll never run into anything like that here at all. My wife and I take our cars here every time we need any maintenance and will continue to do so.
