Absolutely no break down, price or anything. No receipt unless you ask for it, no transparency on rates. I guess they're free to decide what your metal is made of too. They tell you to go and wait 50 feet away where they must heavily round down on everything.
I scraped 12 factory aluminum wheels 8 of which were 19x8.5" 4 that were only 17's (removed valve stems and wheel weights from all) the 19's were all 30+ pounds each but somehow the lot weighed 259 according to D&L. (21.5lbs each?) If i knew I had the ultra rare super light (sarcasm) versions of all those wheels I wouldn't have scraped them. Nearly 80 pounds short, and that was half of what I brought.
I turned in 69 pounds of copper water lines and got $103.00. What a rip off. #2 copper is supposed to be $2.60 a pound or close to that. Go somewhere else for sure.
I called to make sure the scale would be open when I arrived. They said yes it was 4:15 when I got there and because of the large load I was refused service saying he wanted to get out of there. Very unprofessional.
Ready and willing to help me, unloaded my truck with out me having to get out and returned my barrels. Best of all pays cash. I didn’t have to drive far from home,will be going back!
D & L recycling is my go to for extra scrap. They are quick, efficient and honest. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend them for anything you need to get rid of. I always feel good to drop my stuff off here and keep it out of the landfills.
Turned in 2 large transformers (from welder) and 9 batteries $62 what a rip off! Go somewhere else. Like Decco Alloys in Brunswick - a way better place.

I usually have a good experience when I choose not to pay attention today I brought in a furnace, a bicycle, 25lbs clean #1 copper. 25lbs of copper 89lbs of steel and 20lbs aluminum I received $52.00, the copper alone was scrap valued at $61.25

You get two stars for taking scrap as you should, honestly paying for it will earn you three, communication skills earn four no ability to be five stars without strong implementation of the previously mentioned.
We recently had new siding put on our house and took the old siding to d and l recycling and it was a very good experience. The people there are very friendly and the prices are very fair. We would definitely recomend this place.
Great staff and I am a recent widow with much clean up to do from my husband's garage and I am at a loss in what to do the staff helps me unload and are very kind In answering my questions on what to bring. I appreciate them very much.
When I bought my house, the garage had a pile of workout equipment - weights, bars, etc. that I knew I would never use. D&L was right across the road, so I drove over, backed up my van, and the friendly employees did the rest! And I'm very happy I didn't have to add to the landfill with all my unwanted scraps.
They rip people off .should have went to Cleveland. They got me for over 100 should have got my scrap back. Got a lot more with less than I took there.never again
Cheap you out .No receipt. Don't show you what they are putting in computer. I know I've gotten screwed a few times from them. Was referred to them by a friend .Won't go there again.
Very honest people working here. They unload everything, separate whether it is steel or aluminum and weigh it up in front of you. I thought most of it was just steel! Very honest and great pricing.
