Receptionist couldn’t answer my questions, instead I was told “Please hold, I will go and ask.” I’m calling to get direct answers not play a game of telephone while using a telephone smh.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Darry, at Whitehouse Motors. I did not have heat in my vehicle and I called there after getting another quote from my dealership. He had the part the very next morning and installed it within an hour of me dropping it off. Not to mention it cost me half the price from the quote at the dealership. Thank you! I will certainly refer friends & family.

Whitehouse Motors' staff were very friendly and helpful. I had my son with me, and they showed him around and let him look at the cars they were working on. They fixed the immediate issue with my Hyundai, and encouraged me to see if the bigger problem could be fixed by the dealer under warranty. The price they charged was very fair as well. I will absolutely come back for other car repairs.

This place is the best. It seems like the other chains always find the most expensive possible solution, but this place has saved me thousands and with super fast turn around.

The shop is honest and knowledgeable! If I'm not doing my own repair, they are the first I'll call.

The crew at Whitehouse Motors always takes care of things for me. Takes away the concern of over pricing, doesn't push me into more like most other places do. They seem to go the extra mile on even the little jobs, and the crew is just... comfortable. Reasonable, honest and fast. Thank you!

If I could assign no stars, I would. On the recommendation of a local auto parts supplier, I delivered a collector car to Whitehouse Motors, Inc. for diagnosis and repair on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Later that day I received a call telling me what the suspected problems were. I authorized any repairs. Having heard no more by Monday, June 6th, I stopped by for an update. I was told the front U-joint was binding and the drive shaft was possibly bent and/or out of balance and should go to a transmission shop for evaluation, which I authorized. Whitehouse Motors was to deliver the driveshaft for repair. Having heard nothing more by Thursday, June 16th, I called to get an update. I was told by the owner that they “…just hadn’t had time” to deliver the driveshaft for repair. This was twelve workdays after turning in the car and eight workdays after authorizing the driveshaft work. Ultimately, I had to pick up the driveshaft, deliver it to, and retrieve it from the transmission shop myself. The transmission shop completed their work in four days. The car was at Whitehouse Motors, Inc. for a total of eighteen workdays, i.e., three and a half work weeks. In that time, they accomplished the following: four tires balanced, a U-joint replaced, uninstall and reinstall the driveshaft, and, on the morning of the eighteenth and last day they had the car, a timing and idle adjustment, none of which solved any of the issues I had originally turned the car in for. Despite repeated requests to keep me informed, I had to call or visit the shop to gain any information. It appears that I received no updates because there was no work being done at all for most of the time they had the car. The owner was friendly and courteous as long as I was willing to go along and not press for action. But when I made my dissatisfaction known, courtesy was replaced by defensiveness, excuses, and rationalizations. The owner angrily canceled the bill he had presented me, which I offered to pay anyway. He again refused the payment. How many shops would do that if they were not aware of their own blatant failure to perform? This business claims to specialize in classic cars, but your classic car will sit idle while they cycle in oil changes, lube jobs, and tire rotations for the local clientele. Because they overbooked their routine work the shop didn’t have the time or capacity to work on my car, or even deliver the driveshaft for outsourced repair, and didn’t have the professionalism to own up to it. I would not recommend this shop for any work, especially on a collector car.

First I just knew these guys as a nice knowledgeable father & son running a business that had been in the family since 1941, and my family has had their vehicles serviced there since we moved to the area in 1995. But when I walked in last year and asked if they were hiring, & Bud, the owner said 'be back in an hour with non-ripped jeans' I soon learned these are some knowledgeable guys with the skill to back it up. They started by teaching me the basics, like an oiled door hinge doesn't wear out, and they have access to the most up to date repair info available. But for those classics we have paper manuals dating back to 1938, and we have some of those hard-to-get parts on hand. Motorcraft breaker & points for a 1930 Model A? Just installed some last week. Generator not working in your 1928 Chevy truck? Darry rebuilt one this summer with parts we had on hand. Got a Delorian running last summer, I could easily go on. If we have a vehicle for a while it's because there's an ongoing issue & the owner is offered a loaner if they need it. We don't want your vehicle in our lot for a long time - the sooner it's fixed the sooner we can be paid, and the happier the customers are theore likely we'll see them again with return business. That's the one rule I've learned, keep the customer satisfied, and that's what I strive to do daily.

The guys here are very knowledgeable. I also like supporting the local businesses. I was able to get in for an oil change when I needed to before my trip. The price was reasonable and the outcome was much better then going to the big chain shops. The other bonuses are that Whitehouse has options very close by so while they are working on your car you can visit the local cafe for coffee and food, ice cream shop, diner, antique boutique, great pizza, playground. Lots of options.
