Mike was a lifesaver! My car sat in the garage for a few weeks while I was out of town and wouldn't start when I returned. Mike answered on the first ring, arrived within an hour, and jumped it without any issues! He also charged me a very reasonable rate. Thank you, Mike!
I had a great experience with Mike. I had many many things that needed done and his pricing was very very reasonable and I know it could’ve been more. It should have been more, but he knew I was low on money. For anyone that wants to get work done on their car, I really do think that Mike’s place is one of the best places to go in Sheffield Lake if not the best.
Mike is a fantastic guy. He went above and beyond to help my daughter get back on the road despite not being able to pay the full balance right away. It was a very kindhearted gesture and you don’t see that much now of days.
went there about a year before and had great service, really reasonable price. it was a 5 star experience easy.
took the car there for brake pads and a rotor probably about an hours worth of work. After two days of not being able to get to it I called him at the end of the day to pick it up as I needed it for work.
I show up at 5 a
m. to get it and it's all blocked in and unable to move until he showed up @ 8:30.
all in all not a good experience. missed work, and was late. I wonder why he just didn't say he wasn't able to do the work so I could have taken it somewhere else?
I guess he just don't care about customer services very much, your obligations, and or schedule.
since it's now a brave new world out there he's taken the mindset that he just don't care as well; like many these days, is the vibe I got obviously. what a shame. I would have been a loyal customer forever.
instead I got a short paycheck and a car that still needs brakes.
Mike has always treated me great. Above and exceptional service. He is 45 min away but well worth it. So I don't drive his guy crazy ?he takes me up the road for a bite to eat and a cold one and comes back to get me when everything is complete. No complaints!!! Highly recommended.
Mike was great with my tow and car repair. He was quick with his services when everywhere else had me waiting 3+ hours for a tow. My car was back on the road the next day. Highly recommend Mike and Drew! Honest and reliable service.

The guy only awnsers your first call, then his voicemail is full once you try him again. Even after you decided to actually let him work on your car (it took him 3 days to awnser for me). Call anyone else in the area if you can.
Would recommend! Mike's treated me great, with fair prices and prompt service. Even had to deal with a warranty issue, parts fail but but this mechanic didn't. Took care of me ASAP with no issues, Big thanks!
Started off great, came out and towed my girls vehicle from our home. Called us the next day, said he got it running and just wanted to tweak a few things. Two weeks later he calls and says the timing chain went and we’ll need a new motor. Timing was fine, I even have pictures of perfectly aligned timing marks. However if it was the timing, drivetrain warrenty would cover it, just need to get it to the dealer. We informed mike of this. And that was the last we heard from him. That was 4 months ago! He still has the car, won’t return phone calls, or messages. We’ve even informed him that we may consider paying him to do the repair. Still nothing! This was our only vehicle. And have no way to get all the way to Sheffield lake to just pop in. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but five months without our only vehicle and now we can’t even get the courtesy of a phone call or text message?! This is shameful!
Most terrible place ever! I took my dads box truck there and I wish I never did he over charges doesn’t do what he is suppose to do and when you call him he doesn’t answer so I had to go there couple times and today he gave papers to my dad he drove car check engine gets back on and now he is saying to bring it back and turned off to my face. My dad doesn’t speak English he just tell him it’s done and sent him but when I call him he says whole bunch stuff and tells me bring it back. He was charged 3149.22 and receipt is not even included! He keeps failing state of Ohio vehicle inspection DO NOT GO TO HIM he acts like he helps people but then over charge you if you have no idea about services he does for you!
I started having a problem with my car and called the two dealership service centers that I use. No openings for a week. I called Mike and he told me to come right over. He found a few problems and the main dangerous one. He took care of my stuck thermostat and he is going to help me with the other issues. He also did not charge me a 125 dollar diagnostic fee. Good man Good business. I will always call Mike first.
Mike is an amazing person! I called Mike’s Towing on Thursday the 13th, on behalf of an individual who was in need of a tow. He not only answered the phone promptly, but was honest regarding wait time and recommended a towing business that was closer to our location. Thank you Mike for being awesome and empathetic! Rare to find someone selfless these days, thank you! I will definitely recommend and use Mike’s Towing in the future!
i went in yesterday to get my car looked at because my car was making weird noises, long story short i ended up getting new brakes & new calipers. I was nervous to find out the total but turns out they are very reasonable priced! i was shocked because most places will try their best to get all the money they can from you. Mike and everyone else was super helpful, they even offered me a ride home while i waited for the service to be done! i highly recommend this place if your having car issues!
My aunt and uncle didn't have a good experience with them. But as I was trying to help them get their car fixed by Mike's towing, I ended up needing to get my muffler repaired (forgot exactly what was wrong because it was about a year ago). They repaired it within an hour and for a fair price; they only charged me $65 where everyone else wanted to charge me over $200. So here I am a year later with the same suv and nothing wrong with my muffler. Thanks!
Mike was great! My car broke down early Tuesday he came right out towed my car and fixed it the same day. Very affordable prompt service. I’ll be using him again I have a new mechanic
I was having issues with my boat trailer hubs holding grease and a wobbly tire. We booked a last minute trip to Tennessee and planned on taking the boat. Mikes towing and auto got me in immediately and fixed everything right away and was great. Thank you for taking care of me at a reasonable price and getting us back on the road for the trip!
DO NOT CALL THIS TOW COMPANY THEY WILL LIE & LEAVE YOU STRANDED!!!!!! I also called for a tow 2 days ago & was told it would take an hour or so but they would be out. After 2 hours I was starting to get worried but I was assured that someone would be out. After 3 hours I called & spoke to a lady that told me someone would be dispatched. After another hour I called & was sent straight to voicemail. Called again after 5 minutes & was sent again to voicemail. I don't understand whey you don't just say you can't come out then leave people hanging for hours when they are in need. I gave one star but truly they deserve no stars. I have no idea what you get out of leaving people stranded in an emergency situation.
Called and asked for a tow. Was told it would be an hour. After an hour and a half we call and get nothing but a voicemail! My hasband was completely left stranded. At the two hour mark he had to drive the car home risking the tire falling off and being pulled over. Can't just leave the car in the neighborhood it happened in! I am so angry, if you didn't want to take the tow you should have said so!
I called at 11 this morning for a jump, and again at noon. He said it would be a bit before he showed and would call before he showed. It is almost 6:30pm and still no one. He was very unfriendly both times on the phone. Disappointed with this service.
I've been coming here for a long time, and have not been disappointed one time. Mike is an incredibly nice man who is helpful and knowledgeable. The prices are affordable, and the timing is great. I recommend this place for the minor things, and major as well. Whether its 2am, or 5pm...I can always count on him.
Had some terrible wiring issuses with my car from a previous shop that screwed me over and brought it here and I’m really happy I did they fixed the mess the other shop did and now my car runs just fine
I am a real customer that got ripped off. The work was a week and a half late and I got charged 100 more then when I was priced. Then the guy started cussing at me and threatening me didn't feel very safe at all.
My car was broken and I called for towing services at 8:30PM(they claimed that for emergency they work 24/7). I agreed for price of service ($125) from Lorain to North Ridgevile and they said that next available term is for 2hrs and they will call me back. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK!!! If you don't want to do it - say it. Tomorrow I will find cheaper and honest towing company. I wanted to save taking vacation day from work, but I was out of luck! That is not way to grow business.
