Gavin who works at the front desk was such a help to my issue. I was able to find the part I needed, and I will be doing business with them again. Class act!
The guy working here on the morning when I bought the windshield wipers was very helpful. He went out and measured the length of the windshield wipers for me, and I didn't even ask.
I went in to this particular store to purchase a bulb. I also had bought rotors (returning them now)and as I'm pulling in I see an employee has the confederate flag on their front bumper. I don't like racists!! We know what that flag represents and O'Reillys has just lost my business forever! Absolutely sad that this country is still so racist in 2025! Do better!!
Johnstown Ohio O'Reilly auto parts is awesome! The employee named O.J. was so kind. Even came out to my car to help me with my hood. Then he checked my transmission fluid.
Newark, Ohio deo Dr store could learn a lot from Johnstown ohio store.
Deo Dr store. Staff is extremely rude. Waited in line for 16 minutes while one employee was outside flirting and the other was telling jokes on the phone
Ashley and brock were professional and they auto zone price, with my new battery they even changed the battery out for me, very good and cool ppl, thanks for your excellent customer service plus it was right at closing time
What a great experience! I’m not the most knowledgeable person when working on cars and had problems trying to change the pads on my car brakes. Some seized bolts and a seized pin took we to O’Reilly’s where not only did I get some super suggestions from Matthew, but was also hooked up with the tools to finish the job. My flailing for 4 hours was quickly solved within an hour + following this advice, and I am so thankful. Thanks again, Matthew for your helpfulness and support (and expertise); you made my day get brighter!
I use O-Rileys most the time but last time in a week ago guy at counter was very unfriendly and quite frankly pissed me off with his attitude before I even told him what I needed. Anyway I wanted a set of brake pads that cost 43 bucks I was buying for someone else ask if he break a 100 emedietly he said no, so I went down the street 200 yards and bought them from Advanced auto they had no problem breaking a 100! Won't go back to that O-Rielys again. You got 1 job and that's to be at least somewhat nice to customers and he was not. Pretty much could tell he had an attitude when I walked to the counter, but it's all good cause I won't be back.
Matt and Ashley have great customer service! However, whoever this Travis character is... He has 0 people skills. No greeting, extremely dry communication and it's the polar opposite of the experience that I get when Matt and Ashley answer the phone.
Went in for an air filter. The only employee there HAD NO CLUE! I drove across the street to Auto Zone and bought the air filter.
I know good help is hard to find these days BUT IT WAS A HONDA AIR FILTER! Waste of MY VALUABLE TIME.
After AutoZone across the street told me my battery was “too special” (Jeep Wrangler 2018) for them to replace I was worried that I was going to be stuck on a Saturday without an open mechanics shop nearby.
Decided to stop at OReillys just to check (and beg) for their help. My battery was replaced within 15 minutes.
Will keep returning here from now on!
They did a really nice job on our visit. We were greeted upon arrival cordially by both service people. We needed a variety of parts from plugs to oil to a filter and a belt for a very unusual car. All were in stock except the belt and they went the extra mile to order it in. All parts were accurate and made the installs easy. Would definitely recommend. Prices were in line with the surrounding competition so no financial surprises which is always a win.
Great experience here. I was frustrated when I pulled into the O'Reilly's parking lot and happy when I left. They sold me a battery for less than the other auto store, put it in my car (the other store would not), and saved me from having to get a jump every other time I turned off my car. And the whole thing took less than 10 minutes. BIG shout out to Vinny who went the extra mile and then some!
I love the friendly faces here and they are always willing to help you out with your car or lawn mower needs. Usually has all the parts needed for a quick job done. Prices are great and they do price match competitor prices so nothing better than that. Check them out next time and you won't be disappointed
Always have been and always will be my go to store bring a wild excursions I said myself on they seem to be the only part store To have what I need when I need it!
The gentleman working was very knowledgeable and even helped me replace a part on our suv in the parking lot when it stalled trying to leave. He didn't have to help but went out of his way to lend a hand. It fixed the issue and I'm forever grateful. You guys just got another faithful customer going forward. Thanks again!
Do not trust this store. I had gone in and asked about a cabin filter for my car. They showed me it on the computer at $24 for pickup at 3pm. I asked if they would price match Walmart. The employee checked the Walmart website and said absolutely as it was showing $14.94 . So I had it ordered in for pickup. Came back later that day and was told by a different employee that since it was now not showing in stock at Walmart that they would no longer price match. I even told him earlier it showed but it didn't matter. So wasted my time. Luckily I learned how bad this store is before I had any major purchase so I know not to ever give them my business.
In short was lied to and then treated rudely. There are 4 other auto parts stores in Johnstown. Pick one of them first.
Had the parts that i needed but the staff seemed bothered to look up my parts and collect them. Seems like Advance, Napa, or Autozone would be the better choice next time.
