Lake Buckhorn is an awesome lake with some of the best people. A great family spot to rest, relax and enjoy sunsets and stars.

Update 2023: Another year and another increase$$$....... Not member friendly.Very poorly managed.Lake president,lake manager, trustees and office help are the most incompetent people there could be.Annual rate increases for members, $55 this year alone.$1000+ annually now.Roads are like cowpaths,have been for years.

My family loves living at Lake Buckhorn. A previous review I feel was unfair complaining about the fees. Our HOA fees are very low compared to most and have to increase with inflation. Also the roads are what they are supposed to be. A little rustic but well maintained. The staff at Lake Buckhorn do a great job. Nobody is perfect but we feel thankful. Hey! I just caught the limit for large mouth bass in a half hour. Great place. God bless!

Gorgeous Lake,the old lady at the gate though, she's one of the meanest people I've come in contact with, she'll do anything to be difficult

Private entrance- you have to know someone that can let you in. Very nice fishing and swimming lake.

Its so beautiful and peaceful here. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view of the lake!
