Schaffer’s Towing is a family owned and operated business based on the west side of Cincinnati. Schaffer’s has a large fleet of equipment ranging from light duty wreckers, rollbacks and Heavy Duty wreckers. We also have a fleet of off road equipment to handle your non-typical needs. Telehandler, forklifts and pallet jacks for load adjustments and transfers to include paper rolls, food and dry freight. Skidsteers with winch attachments to aid in extreme off road recoveries. Schaffer’s also offers trailer transfer services with our dry van trailer, refrigerated trailer and curtain sided box truck. Today I needed help with my car (potential tow and a jump). When Mr. Kevin arrived, we realized the car was generally fine (I still needed a new battery), but he helped check everything very thoughtfully and also made sure I made it to my next destination safely. They also did not charge me even though they drove all the way out.
They were fast (under an hour), thoughtful and patient with me. Best towing company!!!

Hands down one of the best. I was stuck in a rest area with a bad axle on my camper. Had called multiple repair and towing companies with little result. Was lucky enough to get Winter to come by with his semi tow truck on his way to another job. Winter fixed the camper so we could get it to a local repair shop. He actuaĺly followed us down Fed Hwy 75 all the way to the repair shop at 25 mph. We made it safe and sound. If you are unfortunite to need a tow company they are the ones to call. Winter, thank you again for going above and beyond for us.
I needed my class C motorhome towed to the dealer for work. Shaffer quoted the job and sent a driver to meet me at an agreed time. $2500 to move a utility trailer that shifted on a trailer. Brought out the largest piece equipment an 80 ton rotator to lift a 2,000 lb utility trailer. Don’t trust these clowns to be fair. We use cranes wreckers and hoist all over Canada and the lower 48 for our business and have never had anyone do anything like this before. Will log a complaint with the Ohio better business bureau. Your a liar the owner operator never ask you for a rotator. He’s not experienced enough you should be the one to access the need and you should make your price known before hand. Very deceitful
Recently had a series of unfortunate events resulting in severe damage to one of the axles of our 26 ft travel trailer. Although covered thru insurance. All companies contracted with them refused service. Being a Westsider and having previous great experiences with Schaffer's, I gave them a call. Schaffer's put me in touch with their heavy recovery driver whom got us home safe and sound and no further damage to the trailer. Professionalism and knowledge at its best...If you need a heavy Tow, Winter is your man. Thank you!

Jeff Dale, the person that had to deal with me for 2 months, was so kind and helpful every step of the way with understanding our situation and also helping me understand insurance and what is ok and what isn’t. Our company must have woke him from the wrong side of his bed. It's a Sunday morning 7am we're stuck looking for a tug to get us out of the snow so we can start rolling again. It's not like we're in a ditch or anything, flat surface unfortunately the drive side is on some grass, drives are spinning and won't catch.
The man answering the phone was rude and hung up on our road repair department. When our company called back the same rude man said he doesn't have anyone to help and hung up on us again...

Out of 3 calls to various places, this company is the only one who towed from 275 E going 75 S. The driver, Cook, was fast, very helpful and eased this out of state, anxiety-filled lady. I'm grateful this company was there during my time of need. If I ever need towing again, I'll definitely call this company...which I hope I don't. Thank you, Schaffer's and Cook.
We are from Cleveland (about 4 hours away) and my daughter is a UC student, she was a pretty significant car accident and I just wanted to commend the tow truck operator who showed up to tow her car. I am told his name is Kevin and he was great with her. She’d never been in a major car accident and didn’t really know what to do. Unfortunately the police officer who responded wasn’t very helpful and was actually kind of rude. Kevin got her laughing, which helped her to calm down, gave her lots of helpful information and was just over all very nice to her. As a mom getting that phone call and being for hours away, to say it was terrifying is probably an understatement, but I’m thankful for this company and Kevin who brought a little ease to my daughter. Thanks Kevin!
After spending so much time with a broken down vehicle in a dangerous intersection, I was so thankful to have these guys, both Jeremy and Johnny, take care of me beyond what any other person involved did (insurance, police, etc.). I got quick phone calls, updates, and the assurance that I would be helped as soon as possible. Not only that, but they went above and beyond to make sure my power-less car with the windows open and my belongings inside was left in a secure, locked space for the night until the repair shop could get to it.

Motorcycle people are pretty intense about their bikes, if you need a Motorcycle tow, these guys know what their doing. I followed them all the way to the dealership and my bike never moved. Would use them again without question. Great job !!!!
My car was involved in an auto accident. Schaffer towing came to the scene and towed my vehicle to their lot. They were supposed to later tow my car to a shop near my house to assess the damage. One of their drivers lied and said they took it to a shop but they never did. So here I am thinking my car has been at the shop several days NOPE... never left the tow truck company..... luckily the person who hit me had insurance so I’m able to use a rental car
I had went to pick an quad for my daughter who was with me bit fell asleep .i bought ramps that were to short to ramp in my cargo van. Listen I went in knowing that really not sure what to expect. The guy there running the front had his employees eating out of his hand.i didn't ask for help but he insisted that I get their helpline I said I couldn't wake up my daughter and I never driven her new?quad yet. ?he called a guy and asked him if he could get 3 guys ? Well 5 came over talking nice and gave me a compliment on my new cargo van..i was waiting for this chance to tell everybody this place deserves the moon the sun with 5 stars. He knows how to treat people right. It outshines a lot of stuff I've seen from businesses who don't?how to run a business..very impressed...
Ever since I became a driver I have always used Schaffer’s towing. They always arrive when they say they will, and have even dealt with some of my more difficult tows. I had Kevin help me today And even tho my Jeep was a pain he handled it like a pro! He was so sweet and funny it was the best experience I’ve had with you guys. As always, thank you!
Fantastic experience. Super friendly on the phone, gave a fair price, picked up my car within 15 minutes, did what I asked (on a delivery to a dealer without me), worked with the dealer to park it where they needed it. Highly recommend!
Great experience! Called on a weekend after hours. I wasn't far from him and my small car had stopped in the middle of the road. He towed me less that 3 miles to my home and then charged me less than he had quoted me on the phone. Probably not the normal situation, but I was very pleased with the speedy, above normal customer service I received.
