My favorite recycling facility!!! Organized. Staff is friendly. Helpful. Courteous. They go above and beyond! Witnessed this first hand as they helped someone in line whose car died. Very kind. ****Unfortunately they closed this location which makes going to Cohen not an option as this was close to my residence. Super sad as the area down here by the river needs a place to recycle metal.
Cohen Recycling is s great place to turn your trash into cash in a flash. (No, you may not use without permission or compensation.) Having said that, they have a clean and efficient streamlined (dis)assembly-line method of recycling staffed by a helpful and knowledge staff. Their yard is very clean and well monitored. Safety is emphasized and it feels good knowing that you have made the planet a cleaner place and your wallet a little fatter.
This is a nicely maintained Modern Recycling Center. We mainly take our aluminum cans to be recycled here but they will take brass and I guess all the metals. If I just have a car load of cans I come in on the left side of the building and turn right into the building from the back, there's a do not enter sign going this way but I think it's for big trucks, if you go this way you stay out of the mud, but don't tell anybody I told you this I don't want to get in trouble.
