A greedy greedy business owner, if he isn't making double the profit he won't buy it. If you take him a $10,000 trailer he'll offer you $1,200 for it. Don't bother going here.
In the era of everyone getting used to average to poor customer service, this business sets itself apart. I cannot describe how fantastic we were treated and the service performed was spot on. We ended up with a bent axel on our horse trailer and were, of course, from out of town. They coordinated with the original manufacturer to expedite the part and were able to get it repaired in time for our next trip to WEC OH so we could drive it home and not have to make a separate trip back to retrieve it. The charges were totally reasonable and Jeff kept us up to date on timing and charges. We will be coordinating our annual maintenance while we are in town going forward, the service was that good. Thank you so much!!
Custom Cabs & Trailers initially serviced my horse trailer back in 2013. That initial service left an indelible impression upon me. They did a great job of servicing my trailer and adding various upgrades. Thus, with the most recent need for a service, there was no doubt I who I would select to do that service. I took my trailer back in mid-June 2024 for an inspection and service, and power washing. They addressed several concerns with my aging trailer. Again, they did a very wonderful job with the service and at a very reasonable price. I will also add, the power wash/scrub was well worth the cost. Our 13-year-old trailer looks remarkably younger. I will thank Ethan and the service department for their efforts as well as Rodney who coordinated the service and even advised on settings for trailer hauling in a recently purchased truck. I would highly recommend Custom Caps & Trailers for your trailer and/or truck needs. There is no doubt I will go back to them whenever the need arises.
One of their trucks driving recklessly on 465 south in Indianapolis at 10:45 this morning. Ran us off into the emergency lane. We got their website/phone # etc from the truck itself. Wake up..talk to your drivers about the liability that comes with driving a company vehicle.
Just OUTSTANDING - walked in....asked for the trailer that I was looking for... negotiated on the price..... done in 15minutes. They hooked up and I headed back to Medina!

I have purchased two cargo trailers from CCT and have been super happy. They've worked with my truck and got it set up to tow beyond what the factory towing was set up on my truck to make sure things were safe. Currently working with them on my third trailer to purchase, and the same great friendly people are there. As a business owner myself I appreciate working with a familiar friendly family company.

Great place great beds great people till it was on my truck and could not put fuel in. Too much money spent to have a brand new bed and now this. Guess I will fix it!

A++! I was in search of an Aluminum Car hauler. From my initial email request Rodney was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal Available in the country! He also recommended nearby restaurants and lodging since I was coming from afar to complete the transaction. Don’t walk but run to Custom Cabs and Trailers! Rodney and the rest of the staff are very professional and knowledgeable and will treat you like family!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Outstanding down to earth people and easy to deal with! The whole staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was right! The salesman Rodney did a wonderful job! I have been in automotive sales for 14 years, and to meet a salesman with that type of customer service is outstanding! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
My father and I were traveling back from Cleveland, OH from buying a trailer when one of the tires came completely off. We were lucky enough to be told about this place and the service we received was amazing! Everyone was very helpful and made sure we would be able to make it back to TN. Great service and knowledgeable staff! Not a huge selection of trailers, but they can order it in I'm sure. I had a gooseneck hitch installed and it took about an hour and I was out the door with a top of the line product knowing it will last for years to come.
The Staff at Custom Cab And Trailers was and has always been first rate. Steve the service manager listen to my concerns on my trailer and told me they would work hard to fix the problems I was having.
I had a military move from DC to Denver in December...and opted to do a self-move. My trailer lost a wheel in the Jamestown area, which left me and my best friend nearly stranded with my trailer on the side of the highway...and a deadline to be in Denver. Long story short, the tow truck highly recommended these guys and dropped us off there - 2 stranded females. While many would have tried to take advantage of us and our situation, these guys were phenomenal! They went out of their way to let us base out of their office (out of the freezing rain) while I called to get pricing on UHauls, etc after it was determined it would take 2 weeks to get the parts and have it fixed. Eventually we opted to go with one of their offers to trade in my trailer and purchase another one from them - where I could sell it on the back end vs throwing away rental money with UHual. If their kindness wasn't enough, they then pulled my broken trailer into one of their repair bays with a forklift - and backed the new trailer right up to it where we could transfer all of my household goods inside since it was 40 degrees and raining all day. Then they hooked up the new trailer and several of the guys spent half an hour figuring out which fuse went out in my truck (no lights when the trailer lost a wheel) to get us back on the road. Even better, I sold the trailer for $200 more than I paid for it the following month and ultimately only lost $100 after the registration fees when I sold it...vs losing $1400 in UHaul rentals. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I absolutely would. They are A+ guys, all around!
