My wife and I took my truck and her car into Pickups Plus Cars, uncertain of what either of the actually needed. They were very patient in helping us understand what we needed in order to drive away safely and confident in the dependability of both vehicles. When all was explained and done, we did indeed drive away confident and safe. Among the repairs was a new battery in each of them. They told us that the batteries would work but not for much longer and not in really cold weather. This past week my wife and I were extremely grateful for the new batteries. Neither vehicle even hesitated to start. Thanks again, to Pickups Plus Cars. I would recommend them to everyone.

These guys nailed my job! They did an amazing job on my 2026 Z71 Suburban! We did a @switchsuspension 2.5in air ride level lift kit, Vossen HF6-4 22x10 wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler's 285x55x22, as well as tinted my front marker lights, all in a day! I love it so much! Kyle and his team are fantastic to work with. I wanted to increase the horsepower on my Dodge Challenger 6.4L. Hemi. I spent a lot of time researching various options and decided a supercharger was the best way to get the power I wanted. Kyle and I had multiple conversations discussing the specs and benefits of various brands. He and the team have a tremendous amount of knowledge, having installed many superchargers for customers. I decided to buy a Magnuson SC based on their reputation, power output, reliability, drive ability, and the warranty. I am very picky when it comes to my cars and I chose Kyle’s team because I was confident they would take excellent care of my car during the upgrade process and that everything would be done correctly. Kyle, Josh, Dan, and James who is their supercharger technician/master-mind clearly understood my expectations and they did not disappoint. James did a fantastic job of installing and tuning the new supercharger, including the custom color coating of it. My horsepower and torque increased by 26% over stock which is a huge gain. The car was really fun to drive before and as a result of their hard work it has been taken to the next level. Keep up the great work gents, you have earned a customer for life. Steve D.

By far the best place I have been to! Kyle was great in helping to decide how to customize my Mini. I had a vision and they helped bring it to life. I’ve had multiple projects done through Pick Up Plus Cars, and every single time they’ve delivered excellent service. They’re quick, efficient, and know exactly what they’re doing. Most recently, they also did some work for my dad, and he had just as good of an experience. What really makes them stand out is how fairly priced they are and how fast they can get you in, no waiting around for weeks like other shops. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that’s honest, reliable, and gets the job done right without all the usual runaround. I’ve got several more projects lined up, and this is the only place I’ll be bringing them to. If you want real work done without the drama, this is the place to go.

After 11 years and over 231,000 miles I finally traded in my SUV for a 2025 Toyota TRD Off Road Toyota Tacoma. Driving off the lot my first stop was Pickups Plus Cars on Columbus Pike in Lewis Center, to purchase a Leer Cap and sliding bed drawer to protect my tools and sporting equipment. Dan Merzke, Sales Manager, worked with me for over an hour to understand and identify the best solution that accommodated my budget while providing that sharp rugged color matched look that a Leer capped Tacoma projects. Within days after the purchase, Pickups Plus installed the bed drawer, however the lead time for the Leer cap delivery was long but not atypical. Dan and General Manager Kyle McCoy helped push Leer very hard to expedite the manufacture, delivery and installation of the cap before my scheduled Labor Day family work/vacation trip. The package looks amazing! Kyle, Dan and Josh provided the highest level of service and support beyond my expectations. Their five-star rating is more than deserved.

Took my Dodge Ram 2500 here to have the chrome blacked out/deleted and a bed cap installed. I was told this would be a two-day job, using their new procedure for painting chrome that they said had been successful on other vehicles for about 3 years. After two days, I went to pick up the truck, only to find the grill and mirrors still shiny chrome. The only things that had been done were the badge swaps and cap installation. When I asked about it, the employee I had worked with was polite, but immediately blamed the mistake on the person who wrote up my invoice (who, conveniently, was on his last day). The problem? My invoice clearly showed “chrome delete” written right on it. Only then did they tell me it would take “a few more days.” Unfortunately, the painter got sick, which I understand—but the real issue was the complete lack of communication. It ended up taking over two full weeks before I got my truck back, and every update had to come from me calling them—not the other way around. In addition, I had specifically asked on three separate occasions for options and quotes on black rims and running boards. Despite following up multiple times, I never received a single option or estimate. To add to it, within just two weeks, the black paint process began chipping off, revealing the shiny chrome underneath. For the cost and the weeks of delay, the poor durability of the finish is highly disappointing. The delay cost me far more than just time. Because they had my truck for two extra weeks, I missed the window to sell my other vehicle to Carvana at the price I had locked in. By the time I was finally able to move forward, their new offer was $5,000 less. Add that loss on top of the cost of the work, and this “two-day” job ended up being very expensive. To make matters worse, the truck cap itself had a chip near the bottom that looked like it had been covered with touch-up paint, leaving a less-than-clean finish. In the end, while the staff was friendly, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and extended delays made this a very disappointing experience. If they had simply replaced the grill and mirrors with blacked-out parts instead of relying on paint, none of this would have been an issue. I can’t recommend them based on how this was handled.

Service at pickups plus is always good. They have never tried to up sale or do things that do not need to be done. I will be a returning customer.

These guys not only took care of me the right way, and proffesionally..they MADE ROOM in their busy schedule to get me in promptly even though I had mistakenly canceled my appt previously. They still got it done and done right! NEW SUPER LOYAL CUSTOMER and PROMOTER!

Can not say enough about a group of people that care about your passion of cars. Just had my 91 mustang in for an upgrade in stereo equipment that has not been touched in a very long time. Obviously technology has changed with stereo equipment, so my car was due for a major overhaul of stereo components, which was done very meticulously and I’m grateful since I don’t take this car out all the time. Very satisfied with the work. They have helped me with work on my 2014 Raptor as well. Thanks Josh for taking care of my passions. ???

Purchased a bed cover for my F150. Was told it was top of the line. Won't leak, etc.....it leaked the first night. I realize nothing is waterproof, but it was leaking badly. I called Dan, the manager who sold me the cover, and explained the issue. He was very responsive. He made an appointment for me to come back and the issue would be resolved. I took the truck back, while waiting, Dan said they added more silicone and were doing something with the tailgate. No problem. Now, when finished, I go to the counter to get my keys and he wanted me to PAY $49.00 or something close to that. I was NEVER told there would be an additional cost. NEVER signed an estimate. Nothing. This is POOR customer service. Do the job correctly the first time. If additional fees are warranted, the customer needs informed BEFORE charges are incurred.

Found this awesome Bigfoot air freshener at the shop today! Everyone who works there is so nice! Josh, Dan, and Kyle are the best! The shop installed my remote start a few years ago and it still works great!! Highly recommended!

Great listeners and understand the big picture of my vision. Good advice and follow through with timing. Work to help find the components to complete the project at good value without sacrificing quality. I still have several mods scheduled for installation but thought I'd share the process this far.

Was in the market to upgrade my truck and started with a tonneau cover. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the guys here helped me out a ton in figuring out what would go best for what I wanted to do. On top of all of the they also got it in next day and installed it in under an hour. Top notch work here and definitely going back for my next upcoming upgrades.

I have been having my cars and trucks modified by Kyle and Josh at Pick Ups Plus for well over a decade. Whether its wheels and tires, a full lift, exhaust, tuning graphics or tint, they have all the bases covered. It's a great team to work with that I can highly recommend.

Steering clear of this place. I had an air compressor installed on my Jeep recently, and had also been experiencing some death wobble so I asked for an inspection. I was originally quoted 3 hours plus the inspection fee. I provided a variant of the twin ARB compressor that is portable rather than designed to go straight on as an onboard compressor. I didn't know there was a difference and that's on me. However, I was not notified of this until after they'd already gotten it mostly installed. The portable compressor has battery clamps, and for some reason they left those instead of making some sort of direct connection, which seems odd. I called for an update at noon after scheduling a 9am appointment. Understandably I was told that Josh would call me back after lunch around 2:30. I didn't hear from him until 4:30. That was when they let me know that they got it installed but they might need to have me come back the next day after an aux switch arrived, as they had broken mine. They also asked me to pay for 2 more hours of service since it "took them all day". I called back around the same time and was told to expect a call back. Never got one. I drove over just before close and asked if they had gotten the switch yet and they said no. I asked for them to call me when it arrived, which they assured me would be the next day. Since I was direct in asking for a call back while I was standing in front of them, they called me back the next day. They installed the switch quickly, which I was appreciative of. I asked the mechanic if he had seen anything related to death wobble, and he said "I checked but didn't see anything" which means nothing, so I paid the extra $145 for the inspection for no reason. Poor experience all around. Wish I could do it again and go to my usual shop (which is in Newark but seemingly well worth the drive), but the next best thing is letting the next person learn from my mistake.

Experience couldn't be better! Started with talking about the upgrades I was interested in with Joey. He was extremely patient and answered my continuous questions to make sure I got it right. He gave his opinions on what would look good. Extremely happy with the final look and install of my leveling kit, wheels, and tires. Will continue to come back!

Dont go here unless you want your beautiful car damaged. See pictures . They damaged my lug wells on my beautiful car. They are pathetic and unprofessional . They have horrible quality control . It took them a week to figure out they had the wrong part and blamed it on everybody else but themselves.

First experience at Pickups Plus Lewis Center was nothing short of excellent. Joey and the team helped me find a different lift for my F150 so I could fit in my garage…lol. I went from a 6” Pro Comp to 4” Zone lift and couldn’t be happier. I needed new front suspension as well and the team was excellent with providing options and honest recommendations. The Zone kit comes with Fox shocks in the rear but after discussion and my uses of truck, I went with Monroe on the front. They also let me in the shop area to see my truck while in process mentioning “we have nothing to hide”. Can’t say enough good things about them and definitely will be back. They have created a loyal customer through a great experience!

Worked with salesman Joey on getting everything orded and shipped in. He was top notch and very knowledgeable on everything. The tech that worked on my truck was amazing! Josh called several times to keep me updated on the work. When i picked up my Gladiator Josh came out and explained everything and was nice to answer all my questions!
