This guy is a joke. Never answers the phone or returned a call. Was told to come back Friday, bc Monday he was to full. Friday, No one is there not able to get in touch with anyone.
Honest people when they are not scraping themselves. Guy before me waited 1 1/2 hours. I waited 30 minutes, employee then gruffly, told me to move so he could unload his vehicle. I waited another 30 minutes and went to Delaware. Was in and out (with money) in less than 15 minutes.
I won’t go back to this establishment.
Was in their drive before 12 and dude tried telling me they were closing but he’d take my brass but the other stuff will have to wait til they open again?! What the hell is that?! Smh
This is my go to place anytime I have any kind of scrap metal I want to recycle. The staff is excellent. In my past experiences going to recycle metal at other places I felt like I was being taken advantage of because of lack knowledge. It took a long time and really wasn't worth the hassle to me. Not anymore! Not at scrapmans metal! They get me in and out but not before they've given me an honest assessment of what I've brought them and told me what they'd be willing to pay for it.
In my case in particular, I had brought in some stuff and didn't realize it was aluminum and some copper but hey were completely honest about everything. They could've paid me for the price of steel and I would have been happy as could be going on with my life not knowing a bit of difference. Instead they educated me as to what it actually was. They paid me for it's true value which ended up being quite a bit more than I had originally thought!
Needless to say I was beyond satisfied with my experience at Scrapmans metal and I'd recommend anyone who's looking to recycle any kind of metal give them a visit. You'll be confident knowing that you're being treated fairly and with honesty. I know you won't be disappointed!
