My car died in the cold. Got it towed up there yesterday and it was ready today. Bruce himself picked me up since I didn't have a ride up there. I was prepared not to have a car for a week and I couldn't be more grateful. If you need work done, go see Bruce.

Same day service, honest work. No charge to check my brakes. They didn't need to be replaced yet so they didn't do them. Will definitely go there again when needed.

We took our car to Bruce’s for an odd noise and received a quick diagnosis and honest quote. I appreciated how quick they were and how attentive they were in explaining the issue and our options. It made the whole experience less stressful. We would definitely choose Bruce’s again!

I was so impressed by this shop. They squeezed me into their busy schedule the same day I called. Another time, I came in early and they got everything done first thing in under 30 minutes. Bruce's is great and they do a great job! They were honest, fair and professional.

At about 5:40pm on December 10th my sister and I realized that I had a completely flat tire at the Get-Go across the street from Bruce’s. I brought it over there hoping they would be able to help me put on the spare tire (which, in confirming with my father, should take a professional about 10 minutes), and he turned us away, stating that they’ve had a “hell of a day.” Note that their business closes at 6pm. So 20 mins before they closed, they turned two young girls away in the dark, snow/rain, and the cold to figure it out for themselves. Honestly, we weren’t looking for any of their services, just simple help. They had every right to turn us away, but it tells you about the kind of people who run that place. We brought it to the other car repair shop about 4 minutes away (yes, we drove there with a completely flat tire) and despite ALSO closing at 6pm they helped us repair it. I know who I’ll be spreading the word about for all my car repair needs! A very Merry Christmas to the people at Bruce’s Automotive.

11-10-25. Stopped in 4 a flat tire that needed plugged. Got me in and out quick. No charge. Definitely bought guys lunch. Thx so much

I have been bringing my car to Bruce’s for about 2 years and each time I am more impressed by their workmanship and pricing but I am always blown away by their strong sense of ethics. This garage has no interest in taking advantage of you - in fact, every single person I have interacted with has demonstrated a genuine desire to look out for my best interests. They speak to you with respect and have never hesitated to explain something once or twice for me so that I can make an informed decision. Their workmanship speaks for itself. I recommend this shop to everyone.

I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. I have been here on several different occasions and each time they have been kind, upfront, honest, and super educational around the issues with my car. They truly are the only people I trust with my car.

I cannot praise Bruce’s enough. We’ve been taking our cars there for years and they are always super friendly, knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced. It pays to support local businesses!

I went to Bruce's for the first time this past week and have had the best experience. What stood out the most was their excellent communication and honesty. I've had so many horrible experiences chasing around other mechanics who can never seem to give an ETA on car repairs, while holding your car hostage indefinitely, like you don't need it to get to work! These other places also seem to slide in surprise costs or repairs. This was NOT the case with Bruce's! They called with updates and let me know where they were at every step of the process while getting the work done quickly and getting my car back to me in just a couple days! Their pricing is listed clearly when you go in too which left no surprise costs at the end. In fact, I think they truly went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. Here's why I brought my car in: My front tire was making an odd rattling sound and I thought that my break pads/rotors may need replacing. Turns out a piece of the metal sheath that protects the tire got a little bent, causing the noise, so they bent it back for free! I also got an oil change which was fairly priced in comparison to the chains you see around. (I'd much rather support local!) Additionally, my hubcap fell off the day after I picked it up. I called back and they replaced it for free within a few days--no arguments, no back and forth, just good people trying to make things right. They really went above and beyond, did an excellent job, and I left such a happy customer! Lastly, I know I'm so dumb for this but man it shows how honest they are so I'm including it in my review! --> No judgment zone past this point lol <-- I left (without exaggerating) $200 of Target gift cards in the center console of my car that I had gotten for my birthday... and they were exactly where I left them when I picked my car back up. Frankly, I was expecting them to be gone when I realized I had forgotten to take them out. I was so pleasantly surprised, and it sort of restored my faith in humanity a little more! Truly an outstanding team at Bruce's.

They are excellent! They need more stars! They took my Jeep in and told me that it was going to be at least a week before they could look at it. They called me THAT DAY to tell me what was wrong. Very upfront with pricing. My Jeep was ready the next day! I have found the BEST mechanic in town. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else.

Thank you guys - everyone from beginning to end was just the best. Chris is a rockstar in the way he breaks down the costs of every job, no matter how small. I knew everything he was telling me was fact, excellent at his job. The work fixed my car… it was locking up and unable to move. Now I’m back on the road. This vintage Porsche beater is special to me and I will drive it til it dies… thanks to Bruce’s that will be another day

Taken two different cars here multiple times. Super friendly and honest about what needs done vs issues that done need done right away. Even during holiday weekends they fit me in and quickly fixed the issue. Need car help- take it to Bruces

Great business with a great group of guys who are very professional. They are kind, courteous, and very respectful. They treated my car with the utmost care and did a top quality repair. This was my go to mechanic for years and it was always a friendly experience! Long story short, the last time I had my car towed there, my left mirror was struck by a customer or employee (not sure) on their property. When I called the next day, they told me I’d have to pay to have it fixed and they don’t have cameras on their property (can’t be true) to determine who broke my mirror. The man I spoke to ended up hanging up on me. Haven’t been back since

They earned a customer for life, as long as I live within one hour of the shop, I’m bringing my cars here. Super honest and transparent from start to finish. My car was having issues like shaking when driving, and I thought it was spark plugs, but that was just a hunch from experiencing it a long time ago. Brought it to them on Friday and first thing Monday morning they called me with the diagnosis as well as pricing. They mentioned a few other things which I knew were wrong with the car (non safety) NO extra BS. It was super refreshing. Greenlit the spark plugs and had the car back a couple of hours later, working just fine. Dealerships and other customer facing folks could learn from how they conduct business at Bruce’s.

Bruce's saved me from an unnecessary brake/rotor change. When I got my oil changed at my dealership they claimed I needed all new brakes and rotors. We decided to go to Bruce's for the job after getting a much lower quote than the dealership gave us. I dropped my car off and Bruce's let me know that I didn't need actually need news brakes and rotors yet. I'm so grateful that Bruce's was so honest with us about not actually needing the change. Saved us just about $900! We'll be back for any and all maintenance in the future. So trustworthy!!

Everything was great. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff. I usually work on my own cars but due to time had our truck sent in. It was done well, finished quickly at a very reasonable price. It was a huge relief- I will be using them in future and will recommend them to family and friends moving forward. Thank you Bruce and team!!

Everything was excellent. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly, service was quick and they kept me informed, and the prices were unbelievably fair. I wish I could give more than five stars! I am always looking for an honest mechanic who doesn't overcharge and I have found my new mechanic going forward for sure!

I think what I was most impressed by was they did their own due diligence and didn't just take the word from another repair shop to then get paid. My car didn't start the other week and had to have it towed to another local repair shop. The repair shop spent time going through to identify the problem and then claimed it was a fuel pump and wanted to charge me $2,300 for just the part itself. Before moving the car over to Bruce's we got a quote which already was $1,000 cheaper which included parts and labor. They took care of getting the car moved which was great and then when they got the car they checked to determine if it was in fact the fuel pump. They took a few days, but was very happy they did. They were in great communication the whole time as my car was there to keep me updated on what they were doing and eventually determined it wasn't the fuel pump at all and a much cheaper fix. In the end I saved over $2,000 from the initial quote because they were honest and great. When I got it back the car started right up and continues to start right up even in the freezing cold. Will definitely be taking my car there going forward.

If you’re into overpriced labor and getting your car muddied up, come here! I got my rear shocks replaced along with an oil change. $550 for the shocks alone! I regretted getting the work done, but had to get the job done in a travel time crunch. Upon picking up my vehicle, I noticed it was all muddied up by a technician. I keep my car pristine and detail my cabin by hand myself, so seeing this added to my frustration. It’s common practice to put a piece of paper down to prevent this!! Don’t get me wrong, Bruce’s gets the job done. But be wise and understand there are many other options in town that respect your car and your wallet more.

The service was good and done at a nice price but when I went to pick up my car the front end was smashed I will attach a photo. I am now waiting for Bruce to call me to let me know when he can get me into his body shop. I will most likely change my rating after the front end is fixed

Had a unusual scenario/ unique vehicle for them to work on. They went above and beyond my expectations. Joe was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this shop. They did a wonderful job.
