If you want the worst customer service of any business in the entire county, come to this Home Depot. All too consistently you will be greeted with an attitude problem when you are just asking people for help, or to do their job. They always seem to hire the worst people to work here. At least the manager was attentive and responsive, but otherwise, I will try to avoid this place.

Good service and knowledgeable people. Home Depot is a good, relatively reliable hardware store. Just wish they’d give coupons to the middle and lower classes and not just the rich that can afford to spend $500 on occasion to get $75 off. Why not give 10% off any item $50 or more and allow 2~ 10% off coupons to loyal shoppers a month? It gives a good incentive to shop there more often.

Called to ask for a specific plumbing product. First of all, it’s very hard to get through to a human, though of course that isn’t this specific HD locations fault. When I do get through to a plumbing associate, I asked for the product. He told me “I don’t know, I’m in the lunch room.” Then he hung up on me.

Ordering online for pickup is easy and straight to the point. Customer service was very helpful and friendly when I went to the store to retrieve my item.

My Husband went to the Cleveland Hts store to pick up a product named Jet Snow non-stick polymer, and at that time the worker named Sam would not even look up the product for him, he told him he would have to know the number of the product for him to help, my husband just walked away he asked another worker named Jason he was the manager, and he helped my husband immediately he and another gentleman found the product and they were great, my point is Sam should be sent back into training or this is not the job for him and we are senior citizens, How many customers does Sam do this to in a day. Thank You Jason the Manager and the other worker that helped.

Wes helped us get keys the other day and was very good at his job even after taking some nasty disrespect from another customer and handling it very professionally and politely too! Keys work amazing sir! Thank you

This one was nice, I don’t always go to a lot of different Home Depot’s cause they’re usually the same, but the staff here was particularly helpful

I really wish I can give less than one star, the store is either average or way below average when it comes to customer service especially the cashiers. This morning took the cake though, the rudeness and utter contempt the cashier had for a simple checkout, that of course she messed up, was some of the worst I've ever experienced. If you don't want to work, don't take a job. She couldn't even stand up to do the transaction, sitting the whole time, and again messing up the transaction wanting me to go all the way down to the customer service with 17 cartons of flooring, because she couldn't put a simple PO in. She just blew past the screen and her attitude was utter indifference. You would have been better off closing that line and just getting rid of her, then at least you would have had a positive experience from a very good customer.

Home Depot used to be the store that stocked everything you’d need for home repairs and remodeling. They also had extremely skilled people working there who could walk you through the steps you needed to take to make those home repairs or remodels. No more… Now you can enjoy a half hour walking through the store trying to find somebody who works there. Then you can tell them what you’re trying to accomplish. Then you’ll hear an awkwardly worded statement about how “that’s not covered in this department. I don’t know anything about that.“ Then, you’ll slowly find the product “they don’t have the size or material” you were looking for, and then for a brief drive back home to log onto Amazon to order. Dammit! I don’t want to buy at Amazon. Even though Home Depot is a national chain, I want to spend my money where my neighbors will benefit. Please, Home Depot, don’t sic Amazon on me!

Not sure why this store receives so many bad reviews. All the employees for friendly, attentive and looking to help. The store was organized and more stocked then most depots

Good got two bags of vinyl shutter fasteners which God willing will last me the rest of my time on earth or at least til if and when I sell the house.

Love this Home Depot. I'm from Warren Ohio area, this Depot was completely different. The service was great and I noticed alot of very nice knowledgeable Black people working there. Completely awesome..? I will definitely shop here again.

Good God I hate this Home Depot. Rented a power washer, brought it back when I was done. The woman at the tool rental center desk asked me what I needed. I said I was dropping off my rental. She said "You can just bring it in." I said I needed some help unloading it from my car. She paged for help. I stood there for 10 minutes while nobody came. The woman at the rental desk, frustrated that nobody came, asked me what I was dropping off. I said an electric power washer. She rolled her eyes and said "That's not even heavy." I said it was heavy to me... so she came out to my car, visibly annoyed. When I opened my car, another CUSTOMER standing nearby asked if we needed help. The Home Depot employee looked at him and said "Yeah, you can help her." AND WALKED AWAY. Kind customer unloaded my car and brought my power washer inside for me. After, I went inside to buy one thing. Got in a very long checkout line. An employee came up to everyone in line and said, "If you don't want to wait in line, you can go check out at the Garden Center." So I went to the Garden Center. And... nobody was at the checkout counter. Stood there and waited for 10 more minutes for an employee to show up and check me out. I hate this Home Depot.

I reserved a van for 3pm on the app for 8/30/25. I arrived at the store to pick up van only to discover the new Clear Identity System had an old phone number of mine on its record. So it was sending code to a number that doesn’t exist. Mind you Clear system first verified my current phone number and also my email so why the old number. I was standing there with my driver license and money the customer service was horrible. The workers pretty much laughed at me and told me I was SOL. This sort of technology standing in the way of common sense and big box store lack of professionalism has left me with an idea of never giving Home Depot my business again.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Home Depot Stores, and this has to be one of the worst. The store is incredibly understaffed, and what staff they have are unhelpful and hard to find. They also no longer have self checkouts, forcing you to wait in huge lines while the single cashier checks out dozens of shoppers. This store also has possibly the worst inventory management of any Home Depot I’ve ever shopped. The amount of times the store has been sold out of something even though the online inventory shows 5+ (sometimes 10 or more) items is ridiculous.

This store was a hot mess! It literally looked like a Dollar Tree with power tools. I have never seen it look this trashy in over 20 years. Garbage everywhere, main aisles blocked where I could not get my mobility scooter through. Abandoned appliances and it's cardboard left in main walkways that made them impassable. A caucasian man with hair tied back in a ponytail and a apron that said "store manager" walked past me no less than 3 times and said NOTHING even as I was looking on my phone and trying to find aisle numbers. At least 10 associates walked past me with no contact or offered assistance. If he really was the store manager, I can understand how the associates did not give a damn about customers because they are following his example. The young lady who checked me out didn't even thank me for shopping or tell me to have a nice day. I was a hassle to her because her nails were too long to operate the 'malfunctioning' touch screen. There were so many ADA violations that also were fire code issues. This location is 3 minutes from my house and I still will drive to another location 20 or 30 minutes out of the way for both my personal and professional needs if I can help it. Such a disappointment. I am glad to see the associates like talking to each other because they for darn sure don't like talking to their customers.

This location has lanes open for self checkout yet have the employees controlling the entire process which defeats the sole purpose of self check. I feel that if the employees are going to scan and bag items in my cart at self checkout, then why not just return to having old-school checkout lanes with cashiers and belts to unload merchandise to purchase? I personally use self checkout for convenience but also not to have to interact with employees at checkout & to be able to bag things how I like but its not fair to label those registers self checkout when in actuality customers still have to be checkout by team members. Also, please bring back the plastic bags and get rid of the brown bags with no handles which make it harder to carry items to and from the car

very bad service. The workers just walk around in circles, and only 1 cash register works! Because of this, there are long queues all day. I am very dissatisfied. The worst store I have ever seen!

Every was fine except when I went to pick up my security door it was opened and hardware was missing. Fortunately there was another of the same kind and color still on the sale floor. The 2 men in tool rental was very helpful.

The home Depot in Cleveland Heights, really showed up for the city of Cleveland today, specifically, the manager T, and the tool and truck rental department. I was looking to donate items for the 42 families that were displaced due to their apartment having an explosion in the city of Cleveland and I needed a large vehicle to transport all the donated items. I asked if they could help me on my venture and T, didn't hesitate for a second. In fact he said yes so fast I wasn't even sure if he had the authority or understood what I was asking. They gave me the vehicle free of charge, to transport various items. Everyone in that rental department went above and beyond and I want to extend a thanks to them. Excellent job showing corporate responsibility and serving the citizens of our great community. You guys are very much appreciated. Thanks a ton.

I lost my wallet on Sunday at the Home Depot in Cleveland Heights and the customer service representatives were so kind and immediately they turned it into the lost and found and even went out of their way to give me a call that my wallet was there. They were so helpful and so wonderful Terri and customer service was the one who helped me along with her colleagues. I appreciate them so much. They are the best. 5 stars.

Large home improvement store with all the typical accessories you could imagine. I used to draw “Homer” signs for a couple of the HD stores in Arizona (attached).

Closed lines. At least 13-20 people in line. 3 cashiers. All old and slow. Apparently self check out was closed and they were checking people out manually. I asked cashier why, she says HD no longer has self checkout. Im assuming to avoid theft. It Saturday, do that during the week. Contractor are on the go. Bad for business. Two things. Schedule more people during the weekends. Dont close line, losing business because people can’t wait.

Nice sized garden area. Indoor plants were healthy if dry. Workers were helpful. Not a good selection of pots in any other color than white though, which was why I came. And there's bus stops right there...and sidewalks!

They let me bring my dog and he loves it! I get most of my home goods from there and usually at a fair and comparable price. I love the home depot brands for household cleaners and such, I always save! Its always clean and theres always someone to help. I am there every summer almost every day for my garden and supplies. Pricing on flowers is awesome and at the end of the year you can score beautiful rosebushes and other plants at amazing prices. I also love going for holiday decor and yard decor as well. Online ordering is also super fast and easy!

Great location, clean, great customers service, however, the saws need to be fixed. I had a project that either saw could have taken care of, but both were down. Other then that everyone loves home depot.
