Just purchased the first two trucks that Im starting my own company with. Crystal was absolutely amazing. She knows the ins and outs of NC DMV so she was able to give me some great advice on how to go about registering the trucks I bought. The lead mechanic Gray showed me the trucks and all their functions at time of purchase to make sure I was familiar with. Neither truck is perfect, but the small issues they noted I was informed of and they were taken into account when it came to pricing. First time buyer and jumping into bigger trucks than I have run regularly, this dealership really took care of me.

Well, when this man says zero issues, he means zero issues. I drove five hours to get a truck from him bought the truck instantly Nick told me 100% the truth about everything great deal. I got on the truck very happy customer here enjoyed the staff they went above and beyond to help me. Out what a great place thank you Nick, Crystal and Sam. Bought an f650 from them paid for it to be delivered truck last maybe a week has been in the shop since. I am told the whole heads need to be replace. $50000 truck shouldn't need more work. Definitely wouldn't recommend
Being skeptical is always a factor when purchasing a workhorse. Not knowing if you’re being mislead or sold a vehicle that isn’t what you’re being told by the seller is always going to be a real when buying a used vehicle. The trust can be built or broken very easily. Nick’s Motorsports takes those worries and makes them go away. I really appreciate a stand up no games person. Thank you Nick for being a person we can go too. I recently bought a truck from Nick himself and I can say he built trust and respect with me and he is a stand up guy. Thank you Nick for coming through and standing outside answering the questions we had and getting rained on with us. Defiantly will be a first round pick for a future purchase. A used vehicle especially something you’re going to feed your family with will always be something to have real worries and concern with. 👀 We Flew out from Dallas 6/13/25 to Nicks motorsports to look at and purchase a truck. Crystal sent me multiple videos I asked her for and kept in contact with me the entire time! Nick also sent me videos called me and text me consistently in regards to questions I had. I will be honest i was a little worried I would arrive and the truck wasn’t what i had expected after seeing a couple of bad reviews. But I can now tell you from my personal experience Nick sold me a great truck and was very upfront accommodating and fair with me. I bought a truck jumped in it fueled it up and headed back to Dallas for about an 18 hour drive 1,234 miles. I set the truck on 75 cruise control and had to stop to refuel a time or 2 but had zero issues with anything on the truck! We are extremely satisfied with our purchase and how Nick and Crystal treated us! This company does great business in my personal experience and I will buy another truck from Nicks Motorsports. Nick comes off as a nice guy, however I had a bad experience with him. I was pre approved to buy 2 trucks from him ,his Finance people let home know we were ready to wheel and deal. However since I was coming from out of town asked Nick to sende a couple video's of one of the tow tow truck since I'm pretty much buying sight unseen. He said yes I'll do it tomorrow, tomorrow never came 3 days later going back and forth with him he sends a text saying call me. I call him and he tells me truck has been sold he took a deposit on him, however I still have the other truck available. I tell him you were supposed to send me some videos of the one truck the next day. He says sorry took deposit. No thanks I'll pass on the other truck. So 4 days later the truck comes back up for sale as he posted on FB, I sent FB message and he says call me. Call and says no it's in the shop now, I ask about another white truck he posted and he says I have 3 people going through finance on that one, wait I was already approved and finance was pretty much complete, I tell him that I'll send him a deposit and he tells me no ,I'm not gonna do that to my customer's. Apparently I wasn't one either. I'm glad I didn't spend $80k with him especially after reading all the bad reviews. Lost this customer Nick. Learn some better customer service bud!
Totally do not buy from this guy. He is RUDE!!! Trucks are messed up all the way, all the electrical wiring had to be redone, hydraulic system messed up all the way, truck starting smoking after I got home and turned it off. Engine light came on, fuel sensors & injectors. Don’t waste your time neither your money with them.
Sold me a truck with a blown motor. Bad injectors. Bad wiring harness. Auction flip. Never made it home. Didn’t answer the phone.bad wabco brake system. Non refundable 5k deposit. Came from 5 states away for a junk truck. 12k in parts so far. They just paint all there trucks with black paint and post for sale. No mechanical abilities or awareness. Just salesmen. There shop is a dump. Don’t waste your time and money with them.
Beware. I’m afamily business 5 truck and going for our 6th Wanted to give it a try with these guys. Drove to many hours,, 100% was going to buy a truck from them. When arriving no one was expecting me they knew what day I was going to be there (yes I did a deposit) after someone finally came out said to test drive the truck . But guess what? He tested drove the truck NOT ME. Didn’t felt acceleration, braking, alignment etc. while driving engine light came on and a red light on dashboard that’s when I noticed something wasn’t right with that truck and that’s why they didn’t let me drove truck myself. Also the guy to whom I spoke by phone said he was going to meet me there which he didn’t. Please think twice before sending deposit and ask as many questions possible if you are willing to buy from them don’t let them steal your money . Hope this helps someone.
Carlos the salesman and Nicolas the owner were freaking amazing throughout the process. Got there at 11am and was done with my trade in and new car by 2pm. Test drive, appraisal, and paperwork all done quick and efficiently. Many have skepticism on shopping at smaller dealers however from some who had a terrible unprofessional experience at one of the largest dealers in the nation a few days ago this place really is leaps and bounds ahead of the game. Very honest people, willing to work to get deals done and they will do what is needed to make things as fair as possible. Cant say enough great things about the service, the staff and the quality of vehicles. Will be back in a few weeks to get a new car for my wife. Wouldn’t consider anyone over them for used cars. 100000/10. If i could give them 10 stars i would.
Called this guy nick at 10am letting him know that I would arrive at 1pm since he is 3 hours away from me , we spoke about his in house financing and he explained that I could bring him 10,000 down per truck and that is all I needed. Once I got there I waited on him about 45 min then he shows up and tells me that he has to go deliver a truck that he would be back in a hour asked me if I could go grab something to eat and come back first red flag me and the wife leave go eat come back in an hour he still not back shows up like 30 min later. Once he gets back he’s proceeds to ask me what I was interested in and I explained that one of the fords that I was interested in wasn’t an option since it needed about 5,000 of parts just to the bed the damn T-bar was practically falling off. So I decided on two other trucks even after noticing all of his trucks had check engine lights on that he knew nothing about claimed “all my trucks have a check engine light even my brand new 2023 rollback has one hell if they don’t have one I don’t buy them to sell” second red flag. I decide to proceed either way silly me. He goes inside and comes back out and hands me a piece of paper with numbers on it and the 10k per truck turns into 17k per truck and 40k trucks turn into 55k trucks stating he’s gotta make money somehow can’t finance for free which is fine but none of this was stated before I wasted a whole day driving to his dealer. Dude is a joke all his trucks are rusted check engine light on and need extensive work buyers BEWARE. I hate when my time is wasted just tell me what’s up from the jump and save us both time ! Be a man of your word it’s the only thing you’ll die with my man!
Sold me a truck that was supposed to be 4 wheel drive. Truck is missing the knuckles and Axle to get it to go into 4x4. When I went for the test drive after flying across mutual states keep telling him something was wrong with the truck he didn’t listen and kept pushing for me to buy it. After getting to a point where I was going to leave dude said “on my word I’ll fix anything that’s wrong with it” smoothing it over but trying to give me some hats. Before I even left NC check engine light came on come to find out it was a bad turbo on top of all the other things I’ve found out since owning the truck. I would never recommend this dude after multiple times trying to call him and make things right he said he was not going to give me anything and the price was “too high” and stopped responding.
Definitely do not recommend anyone to do business with this con artist. He told me the wheels and tires I was interested in were in perfect condition so I put a deposit on them so they wouldn’t be sold(he neglected to tell me it was non refundable). Well I go to pick them up and they are definitely not in perfect condition so when I confront him about the flaws he “claims he didn’t know ab them because he has so much stuff he doesn’t know half of what he’s got” so I offer him less since they aren’t in perfect condition like he claimed and he won’t budge of the price. At this point I ask for my deposit back and I won’t buy them, he tells me he doesn’t refund deposits so at this point I either lose my $500 deposit or pay his price for the wheels. Had he told me prior he didn’t refund deposits or told the truth about the condition of the wheels i would’ve never sent him a deposit.
10/10 reccomend Nicks Motorsports in Rocky Mount. Logan + Nick were awesome, we drove 3 hr to them after getting off work and they waited around after hours to meet us. Awesome people, awesome selection of vehicles, and awesome prices. Highly recommend them for all of your truck, rollback, suv purchases.
Worst “dealership” out there. Do not go to them if you are in need of a truck. They claim they know everything about the trucks they are selling but you’ll find out soon enough that is completely false. I do not know how these incompetent people are still in business after what I went through and after the multiple people they have scammed. Purchased a truck from them back in January and had to get a loan taken out to purchase the truck. So If you know anything about how loans work the bank you get the loan from is supposedly the owner of said vehicle so they have the title. Went to go sell my truck the other day and the bank did not have the title because nicks Motorsports failed to provide proper paperwork. On top of that after purchasing the truck, the truck had $5k+ Worth of work that needed to be done just to be somewhat reliable on the road. After picking up the tru k I noticed an injector tick on the drive home told Nick about it and he said “it sounds normal to me but get it into a shop and if anything is wrong with it I’ll pay for it.” After getting home I scheduled an appointment at a diesel shop and about 2 weeks later I find out more than 2 injectors needed to be replaced. Called nick and all he said was “I can’t pay for all of that, that shops ripping you off, I can get it done cheaper but you’ll have to pay for it.” Not a man of his word, do not go to him unless you want to get ripped off. You can find better deals on marketplace.
Was a pleasure doing business with. I’m in the Army so I couldn’t make the trip from Fort Benning GA up to NC so he was very patient throughout the buying process. Answered any and all questions about the truck as well as sending detailed pictures and videos. I will definitely be a return customer!!
Bought a set of wheels and tires from Nick a couple of years ago, I was able to trade in my old wheels to make it more affordable for me, he was SUPER awesome with everything the best thing he did was let me ride with him to the bank to let me get cash out for the set up. Definitely top notch service that you won’t get at most places. I look forward to doing business with him again some day!
I had my 2005 Silverado lifted by Nick and his team during the summer. While the lift kit installation and quality seems to be very good, I was rather unsatisfactory when picking up my truck due to the 4wd not working. Nick called me asking if my 4wd worked before I dropped the truck off and I said of course it did(I specifically checked this beforehand) and he claimed it wasn’t working now and it was due to the 4wd actuator. They claimed they replaced the actuator and even went as far as rewiring the wires on the actuator connector, so I’m told… nick tells me they fixed the issue and my truck is ready and when I arrive, nick and his team proceeded to show me what they did to “Try” and fix the issue. The issue was not fixed and they sent me on my way with a “Service 4wd” light on my dash. Of course this was stressful to me as it would be to anyone, so I replaced the 4wd switch and tried to clean the ground connections etc.) come to find out they didn’t replace the actuator because I rode to advance auto and replaced it myself for $90 just on the out chance that it could be the issue, and it was. I’m just now getting around to enjoying my lift kit and the $3000 I spent after this hassle. It isn’t the biggest deal in the world but I believe it definitely resembles the principles involved in leaving a customer satisfied with their vehicle working as great as it did when it was dropped off. Customer service can be shaky as well as it seems they are more interested in selling vehicles than providing solid customer care, I called several times with questions and such and would often be hung up on due to them trying to sell a truck, to me the customer should always come first even if that means hiring more over the phone customer service people. Like I said the lift itself is great but the business is a little shaky. Good luck
Update: close to 4 months after lift installation and the lift is great. These guys really did a great job. For that I change my review to 5 stars. Although the exchange between me and the business was not perfect, they did good work. And I respect that.
Don’t even bother with this place. Drove 5+ hours from PA to check out a truck Nick claimed was “perfect condition.” Came to look it over and he lied about so much. Frame rust, spray painted fenders, check engine light that no scanner we tried could read, brake issues, cracked windshield that stretched across the whole way, banged into gear, dumping coolant. The wheel wells were completely rotting out after he claimed again no rust. Needed exhaust worked on and a bunch more. Brought the issues up to him and he denied the claims and still wanted $21,500 for a truck that is barely worth $5,000. He’s out to make quick money on people who don’t know what they are looking at. Please save your money, Nick is a crook. Didn’t even give us back out $1,000 deposit.

After our work truck broke down, we were looking for a replacement vehicle. Nick had a 2008 F350 for sale that was exactly what we needed. He did meet with us after hours which was great since the vehicle was needed for work the next day. We asked if there was anything mechanical wrong with the truck and he assured us it had nothing wrong. He even went as far as saying that if something was wrong with the vehicle he would let us know. We have had the vehicle for a month and a half now and have already put almost 3000 in it for repairs. Truck is still not working and have been told the fuel injectors need to be replaced and the head gaskets are also needed . Fuel injectors alone will be another 2700. Worst purchase of my life
Don’t recommend buying anything from them! Nick is not a man of his word!!! 11 days and less then 300 miles almost 40,000 truck leaves my son on side of the road and when I spoke to Nick he said well that issue was supposed to be fixed! Two mths we got the run around from Nick! We made offer on truck for xx,xxx of dollars taxes tags out the door and guess what no tags😡 Don’t buy from Nick’s Motorsports! My son is 20 yrs old and has worked hard for his money and Nick knew from our conversation he was a young boy who just bought a house and a truck he couldn’t afford to take all this on as soon as he bought it to have fixed it cost 1,000’s of dollars. Felt like he was taking a vantage of a young man!
This business participates in and encourages the sale of damaged unusable tires. They do not disclose the damage at the time of purchase and WILL not make any effort to correct the problem. This business happily took $900 dollars from me, sold me tires that were unusable, and then refused to return my money when they were informed that the tires were damaged beyond use. Nick Vester, the owner is willfully and knowingly selling damaged tires through his business. Do not deal with this business at any cost. This business and its owner have a serious lack of integrity.
Nicks motorsports was great to work with. I was out of state and wanted to have my truck leveled with some more aggressive tires when I got home. I called and told nick what I wanted done. So he towed my truck from my house leveled and put me some awesome looking tires on. When I got home from out of state my truck was sitting right where I left her looking even better. I would recommend
