In the past, when I have purchased cars at other dealerships, it has always a nightmare. And most people I’ve talked to have experienced the same trauma buying cars. I can’t even BEGIN to say what an AMAZING, stress free, honest experience I’ve had with these guys at Citycars. From start to finish, they were honest, transparent, kind, and accommodating.
Welcio answered all of my questions virtually (that’s what I wanted), gave me virtual tours of the car I liked, and even sent most of the documents virtually to read and sign before I arrived. It all sounded amazing—a high quality car for a great price, and zero runaround, or wasted time.
When i got to the dealership, all I had to do was test drive the car and give a couple last signatures. Welcio reviewed the loan terms clearly to make sure I understood…and then I drove home with a car that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!! I don’t even think I was there at the dealership for a full hour, which was sooooo refreshing!!!!
There were ZERO surprises, ZERO unexpected fees, ZERO high pressure sales. The price was EXACTLY what he told me it would be before I got there. Looking back, I would have only expected this kind of experience if I were buying a car from a family member. That’s how kind and honest and accommodating they were.
Equally impressive is how they have backed up their product. There was an unknown issue with the transmission that came up a few weeks after I had the car. They immediately agreed to fix the transmission, with no questions asked. They even gave me a loaner car so I didn’t have to wait at the dealership. It was an expensive repair and they were kind and generous, and continued to treat me like family.
Later we realized that the clutch was causing additional problems with the transmission…and again they didn’t hesitate to make sure they had sold me a great car. They replaced the clutch and didn’t charge me. At this point they were likely taking a loss on this sale. But there was no change in rapport at all. They just took the loss and continued treating me like family, providing the highest level of service I’ve ever experienced at a dealership or auto repair place.
Again, if I could give these guys TEN STARS, I would. If they have a car you are interested in…don’t go anywhere else. Ask for Welcio. You seriously can’t beat this experience, or this level of service.
And if you need a car repair or service…ask for Edson. He has been AMAZING too.

Nice cars for a reasonable price. Got my car December 2023 and March 2024 I need a transmission already. If you’re a woman please take a man with you when purchasing a car or have a mechanic look over it. ?
Really amazing and helpful people very understanding they were able to get help me out a lot and did what they could to get me in my new vehicle !! I was able to walk out of there with my Audi a3 with no problems! Very good car and was very happy with my purchase

Drive 2 hours said they would hold the care pulled up started looking at the car plasti dipped rims missing vent turbo fan wobble salesman was selling it to some kid glad we dodged that bulletin turbo will be gone soon so if your the buyer reading this take it to dealer before it’s too late
Nice people. With that being said. Got what I thought was a good deal on a truck. I have had the truck for about two months and it has been out of the shop for about 5 days in that time. Almost $10,000 in repairs and 3 trips to the shop (two of which were on a tow truck) since I bought it. And I am still finding more issues. I knew it had a few leaks on it and we negotiated a price pertaining to those few leaks. Turns out there’s was quite a bit more wrong with it. Had electrical issues and water damage that made the truck cut off on me in the middle of traffic. As well as a host of other issues. By the time I’m done getting the issues resolved on this truck I’m afraid I could have bought two trucks.
For reference on the shop. I only take it to a Ford dealership as it is a Ford pickup.
10/10 recommend this dealer, at first glance I was a bit worried it was going to be a dealer where I would encounter issues but the owner of the place has been super graceful and helpful. I was sold a 2014 mustang GT and encountered some issues coming with the car, the owner did not hesitate to offer me a refund or to fix the car at no additional charge, even after a signing an As Is form he was not obligated to help me out and he spent a lot of time and money out of his pocket to make sure I got a good reliable vehicle and I couldn’t be more thankful. He not only paid for towing and parts but After fixing the issue with the car he drove the car 2 1/2 hours to me and delivered me a product on his own time hands down the best service. Dealing and buying with this dealership has been the least amount of stress I have ever encountered from any dealer and I have owned 13 cars. Great customer service and I can tell they care about the product the sell to their customers and will go through hoops to make sure you are happy with your car. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. 10/10 recommend for anyone that wants to buy from a dealer that won’t be screwing them over. Thank you Citycars sales & service

My daughter needed a new car & upon looking she found this place and a EXCELLENT unbelievable deal on a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. So she goes and tests drives it on a Monday. 1st thing Tuesday morning I go back with her to buy the car. Did I add that we live 45 minutes away. So I get there and right away the owner made me feel right at ease. We talked about the car, I felt he was being honest & actually he checked the car over before we signed and took the cost of 2 tires off the price & told us to go buy 2 new tires. He called made the appointment at a close by place & had us set up. I never felt like some used car lots make you feel. I felt he was looking out for my daughter & her safety. We even got a 30 day warranty which most places don't give. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Right now very happy. I will update if anything changes. I recently bought a used truck from city cars. I had an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Welcio and Edson are honest, reliable, and skilled mechanics. This allows them to find and stock the most reliable used cars around. They are a one-stop shop for buying, selling, fixing, and detailing, so they are able to keep the costs low for you as a buyer. I did my homework before shopping and I was pleasantly surprised to see their listing prices are consistently fair. You will not find more honest and reasonable dealer fees at any used car dealership. I know because I’ve been to almost all of them in RDU! Welcio was great about meeting my financial goals and getting me in my dream truck for the price I could afford. The excellent service does not stop after the purchase though. I had my truck for almost two weeks when I noticed it wasn’t blowing heat properly. Didn’t notice this on the test drive since it was a hot summer day, and the AC was blowing really cold. I mentioned the problem to Welcio, to see if he could help diagnose it. He was able to fix it quickly with no problems, and when I tried to pay him for the work, he wouldn’t take a dime! The owners here are dedicated to giving you a great experience, even after the deal is done. Would highly recommend, and I plan to be back there in the future for my service needs!

I would not recommend this dealer for the following reasons. 1. Dirty and not conditioned cars. 2. Pics online are not like cars are in person. Allot of repairs and TLC needed upon arrival.
Bought a van May 28 and it is now almost August and I have had nothing but problems with it since day 1. I have four children and made it clear I needed a dependable vehicle it has left me stranded on the side of the road with my children more times than I can count in the few months I’ve had it. Still having issues with it after 5 mechanic trips and one of them being this place I bought it from.I was screwed over and sold a very unreliable vehicle and I just wanted to share my experience to warn anyone who decides to shop here. So buy at your own risk you where warned. God bless
Great experience, I went looking for a vehicle, the guy held it until I got there and I walked out with a clean Acura , a couple days later it started acting up but they gladly asked me to bring it back, they checked it out with ease, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT DEALS, GREAT SELECTION!!
I am so very happy with City Cars!! Edson takes great care and knows exactly how to diagnose what's wrong with my cars, when other mechanics have mis-diagnosed problems multiple times.
Edson is the first mechanic I have found who truly knows cars, will diagnose the problem accurately the first time, and fix things properly the first time, with the highest ethics. Highly recommend!
THE BEST.. Had 2 vehicles repaired at the shop by Edson and his team. City Cars was Honest and HIGH quality. Very easy communications with detailed explanations of the problem and work being preformed. They do not try to take advantage of your lack of knowledge with automobiles. I have had my cars being serviced by their mechanics for almost 8 years. I used to bring my cars to the previous repair shop they were working at, and now I am following them to City Cars whenever I need service. Even though I think I know something about cars, as at times I do my own repairs, my knowledge is dwarfed by their experience. They have never replaced something that was not needed, and they always gets it right the first time.
New shop, took my old Toyota Corolla which was miss firing Edson the owner took it in diagnosed it called me and repaired it and got it ready for state inspection. Honest shop owner and friendly staff. Thanks Edson.
