Horrible experience.
For the record, I did not order their service — the police called them after I had an accident, and they came and towed my car. The customer service the first day I went there was awful; they treat you as if you owe them something, not as if you’re paying for their services. It feels like you’re garbage to them.
When I decided to take my car out, an interstate car shipping company came to pick it up, but they would not allow the trailer to enter the lot where they themselves had placed my car. They had originally moved it with a small vehicle equipped with a winch — it literally takes 5 seconds — but they refused to move it back out to the entrance where the trailer could access it. Instead, they only pulled it a few meters within their own property and then claimed they couldn’t use that little cart again due to “liability issues.”
As a result, the transporter had to leave. Their only “solution” was to rent their towing service again to take it to another location where the trailer would have access. In the end, it felt like a business where they create the problem themselves just to sell you the solution. Honestly, I would call them mafia-like and deceitful.
They also work with a company called Wheelzy that buys junk cars, and they pushed hard for me to sell them my car as scrap. When I refused and explained that I was shipping it out of state, they suddenly threw in multiple obstacles and “regulations” to make it difficult.
On top of everything, when my car first went into their lot, the front windshield was intact. By the time I saw it again, it already had a crack — damage that was clearly caused while they were handling the vehicle.
For context, my accident happened Saturday night, and I couldn’t get my car out until Wednesday. I ended up paying a total of $950.
This is just a warning: if your car ever gets sent to this place for any reason, make sure to take it out as soon as you possibly can.
On Thursday 9/4/2025 I had one of my cars towed by this company the driver that came to pick my car up couldn’t get the car out of drive so he went and got something out of his truck and was able to get the car out of park when the car came out of park he wasn’t ready at that point he wasn’t in the and the door was open and his feet were hanging out so he couldn’t use the brake and scratched my 2019 Camry Red in color the car has a long scratch on the passenger side I have called several time and I have yet to hear anything back from owner or otherwise the owner has been in meetings for the last five days this is ridiculous that this guy can’t even return my call not good for business
Needed a long distance tow unexpectedly from Raleigh to WS. Called Raleigh Towing and had good customer service from dispatcher and driver. Service was timely, reasonable price and driver Dustin was pleasant and attentive.
*updated after able to get van on lift once parts came in and discovered that the tie downs from the tow bent the transmission cross member. Emailed and never received a response... pretty disappointing no acknowledgement at all. Even followed up again and still nothing - once they have your money apparently there is no more customer service or care about their services.
My tow driver was incredibly courteous and beyond skilled at his job. My car was incapacitated (Steering wheel locked) and in an impossibly difficult spot in a parking deck with a low roof. However, he took his time, got to my car safely, hooked it up, and delivered it to my desired location. Awesome job.
I called and made an appointment around 8 this morning. The customer service agent that assisted me was very polite. When Dustin was en route to me he gave me a call and when he arrived he was very quick and professional the entire ordeal. They are very reasonably priced. Hope I don’t have to use again but they will be the first call if needed! Thanks.
Dustin was absolutely wonderful to deal with! He came right out, assessed the situation and was able to get the truck on the roll back to get it where it needed to go. This was the 2nd towing company insurance called, with the first one "unable" to get the vehicle, with the same type of tow truck. Even in the rain, Dustin had the correct tools along with experience to do what needed to be done and didn't complain one bit. Will definitely be calling them in the future, if needed. Thanks Dustin, I will be recommending you to anyone who needs towing services!
it is sad how some businesses, like this, are allowed to operate
sick to waste even more time explaining what's the deal with this place. Just be careful in screening your towing provider so you won't end up paying $800 instead of a max $200 towing!
These folks where very helpful at the front desk to book the appointment as well as to get the driver out in sufficient time. The driver went out his way to make sure we were in safe way. Thanks again!

Needed my vehicle towed today which is never a good thing, but thankfully Raleigh Towing was just fantastic to deal with. Lovely woman on the phone was kind and easy to communicate with. Driver called and we joked around. Took good care to get the vehicle on the truck with no issues. Kind caring people, quick response, solid price. 10/10 will use again if I need a tow. I hope I don't need a tow :)
Absolutely horrible customer service! I’d give a 0 if I could! I trusted them to handle this transaction properly and to make sure my car was taken care of. WRONG they are horrible I’d never use again! Oh
I strongly advise against using this towing service. They provided false information about the estimated arrival time, and when I called to follow up, the representative was extremely rude and ended the call abruptly. Rather than addressing the issue, I was told to find another company. I also spoke with the owner, who told me not to call again. When I mentioned that I would be filing a complaint, he responded by saying he didn’t care. There was absolutely no sense of professionalism throughout the entire experience. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. Please take this as a warning—do not use this company.
I had my work van break down on the side of 540 during rush hour traffic and they had someone come out very quickly and pick up the van and gave us a ride to the shop Ro was very professional and knowledgeable about his job I definitely would recommend him if you need your vehicle towed

After our truck breaking down on a Friday night, my husband waited hours for On Star to find a tow and was told no by three other local services he tried to secure. Your response time was great, driver was perfect and Lori in dispatch, you gave us some much needed comfort in a very stressful situation. This is not a service people ever plan to need but if we ever do, I will absolutely call again!
Dave was fantastic. He called with his ETA and confirmed the address. Upon arrival, Dave was very quick and double checked that the car would not start. Pricing I thought was very reasonable too. Overall a 10/10. Highly recommended.
I had a great service with Raleigh Towing today; the tow truck was there within 30 minutes and my driver Ro was a complete professional. He handled the call easily and was super personable and he delivered myself and my car to the mechanic’s station in an efficient manner. Highly recommend!
Tire blew at 10:30pm on a Saturday. Luckily it was 1 block away from home, so I parked it and called first thing Sunday morning. They were able to get someone out to replace the tire with the spare within an hour and the fee was absolutely reasonable. Both the person I spoke to on the phone and the service worker who came out were amazing and so friendly. Great customer service.

Needed a classic car mov d to another location,Raleigh Towing came out they used soft covered tow straps, the guys were very careful with the vehicle and made it was secure. I highly recommend Raleigh Towing , prompt and professional.
As a young woman, car work is usually incredibly scary and a lot of the time unsafe. Dave came quickly, was incredibly helpful and was amazing to talk to. He was called through my insurance as my car would not start. He was efficient, and as a fellow Yankee it was comforting to have someone validate my car concerns and go the extra mile to see if we would be able to fix my keys, and even went as far as taking my keys apart and describing to me what happened and how this can possibly be fixed. I don’t know much about the company itself, but I would absolutely recommend having Dave come to help you with your vehicle! Thank you so much again for your help!
