These are the most heartless people! My mom and dad (who do in fact have a handicap permit) came to pick up the baby we are helping take care of. They were in my apartment for 5-8 minutes only and when they went out they saw their van being towed away. My stepdad who is on fall risk and just had his dialysis done that day and was already weak went almost running behind the person who towed it. The idiot said that the handicap sticker needs to be in the front or back of the car. My mom always puts it around the rearview mirror and he said (and I quote) "we not allowed to look inside the car, if I would have looked for it in the car I would have seen it" he said he was out patrolling the area... My mom is always parking there and she knows to always put the sign up. Always even if it's just to drop off something or drop me off. The guy just needed an extra $200 and decided to take it from someone anyone. With the evenings getting darker sooner this all happened around 6:30 and was dark so he probably didnt see the permit right away but to see that we did have a sign and he just didn't see it is awful and I will be doing all I can to show he was in the wrong! Times are hard and we're all struggling. We literally had to ask family for help because we didn't have it at the time. This happened Friday. 10/24/25

The most rude people I have ever dealt with. The "customer service rep" was extremely rude. They make the entire process extremely difficult and charge outrageous fees. No wonder they had to change the name to hide under an umbrella company.

They snuck in the at 3 o’clock in the morning and took my car from an authorized parking area, called about it woman who answered the phone was RUDE as Hell with an Attitude!!! Go to get my car it was $278.10 to take my car 3 damn miles up the road! They need to be SHUTDOWN! A bunch of Crooks! 1 star is to high of rating I would give them a “0” if I could rate them that low….. Tow tuck driver had a smart mouth to, very unprofessional

This company is a total scam. If I could give a minus score, I would -10. I gave one star because it was required. I was towed last night from Midtown Greens in North Hills. I had parked in a reserved spot not knowing. I was there for no more than 15 mins or so delivering groceries to someone who has epilepsy and can't drive. When I walked out to leave, my car was gone. When we called, the lady who answered the phone was SO rude. When we got to the location on Durham Road where it was towed, there were almost no lights around the place which looked so sketchy and scary. We tried to open the door which was locked and the gentleman who was there finally opened the door and was not the nicest. When asking to speak with a manager, he handed me a business card and said they would be in at 8:00am the next day. I called today and got the rudest person on the phone. I realize now that I was in a reserved spot and would have certainly not parked there even though I have parked there before. Her rude response was that I was very fortunate that I wasn't towed before. I hear this company just renames itself after all the bad reviews. I plan to contact the BBB as well - this is SO WRONG how they do business. BAD BAD company and very money hungry with no compassion.

Booted me for visiting a apartment for an hour with NO visible sign at night and the people who I was visiting were not notified of towing rules. I called to verify that the company patrolled the area and the dude immediately said I was being racist for verifying because he was black and ended up charging me an extra 30$ for making him wait ON TOP of the 150$. Which is ILLEGAL. I shook his hand at the end of the interaction and I honestly regret it because I shake the hands of people I respect and I have absolutely zero respect for that man and this predatory company.

Integrity Towing. / Unlimited Recovery Towing I was driving from Charlotte NC at approximately 10 pm Saturday. When I arrived in Raleigh I stopped at Publix grocery store on Glenwood Avenue in Raliegh, NC. There is a sign that states two hour parking ----- No overnight parking---- Vehicles will be towed at owner expense. I stopped there and parked. I was in a compact vehicle. There was a camera in front of my vehicle in the car garage. I called my wife. I was skeptical because there were a few people in the garage parking lot. . I stretched and walked briefly. Then I got off the phone with my wife. The phone call was 24 minutes. I went into the garage, and I didn’t see my vehicle. I called 911. The police were on their way to my location. The officer arrived to the scene. We will check around and see if we can find your vehicle. Meanwhile,, do you think it was towed? I said, well let me call the towing company. I called the dispatcher. We discussed the situation. She asked me what vehicle I have. I stated, I was away from the vehicle for less than 30 minutes, The sign clearly says, two hours. She said, we have the vehicle. You can come get it. She didn’t discuss money or anything. I told her I was on my way. I took an Uber to the location. When I arrived to the location. The lights were off and not a single employee was there. Two ladies were waiting for their car. I called back to the dispatcher and explained to her. I was in front of the building. She said, “I work remotely. I am not there. (My immediate thought. Why did she tell me to come down here). I asked the dispatcher, How will I get my vehicle? She said, A tow truck driver should be there in about 20 minutes. I waited with the other two ladies in the dark, a very dark area, surrounded by trees until the tow truck driver came to the scene. I asked him, Can I get my vehicle? He said, if you get your vehicle now its $300.00. If you wait until the morning, it’s $225. *( Extortion ) I asked him about the situation, but he disregarded me. Then proceeded to charge the other lady waiting $325.00. I called an Uber then went home. I caught an Uber back to the location the next day. When I arrived there in the morning . A tow truck driver was there . He asked, What type of vehicle do you have? I told him a Nissan Sentra. He said, do you want to pay in cash. I paid with my card. He said a receipt will be sent to your email. It never came to my email He said, You can go get your vehicle. I asked him, “How do you know it's my vehicle? How do you know your giving the vehicle to the right person. He said all we do is check your I.D. He didn’t take a photo of the I. D or anything. Mind you (The car, was a rental car). I went to the back and got in the car and left. When I arrived home. I looked this company up. The company has hundreds of bad reviews and infractions, from predator towing, assault complaints, disrespect, improper towing, etc. Be aware of Integrity Towing / Unlimited Recovery Towing, 1 . 7 stars out of 5.

This company is a complete scam. They changed their names to Integrity Towing Solutions recently due to all of the backlash and complaints they were getting for damaging vehicles and illegally towing cars. But they have absolutely no integrity at all. Having integrity means you own up to your makes and correct them, but they do quite the opposite. My car was towed from my apartment complex last month for expired tags, which was a legal tow and I’m not disputing that, so I went and paid the fee and retrieved my car with no issue. However, immediately upon driving off I heard wind coming in through my driver’s door. I called the office and the lady said it’s probably from where to driver had to break into the car to make sure the parking brake wasn’t engaged. Fast forward a few days later we saw torrential rainfall in our area and rain was getting in through the crack/ damaged door, which caused my lock control module in my driver’s door to die out. Now I cannot unlock my driver’s door remotely or using the lock but I have to manually unlock it. I don’t have this issue with none of my other doors because they didn’t have to break into them. I filed a claim with “Integrity” Towing and Brian was handling my claim. At first things were going well and he was corresponding in a timely manner, until the day he told me to bring my car in and have Chris look at it. I guess he thought it was going to be an easy denial of the claim, which it wasn’t. Immediately upon walking to my car Chris said he saw how my door frame on the driver’s door was bent out and when he opened the door he pointed right to a black line and said that’s where our driver used the crowbar to break into the door. He said he would let Brian know all of that information and I’ll hear from Brian. That was almost three weeks ago and I have yet to hear from Brian. They clearly have no integrity and instead of doing the right thing they are avoiding me. When I call and ask for management to file a complaint the very rude and unprofessional dispatchers, who will not give me their name, refuse to let me speak to management or escalate my issue to management and they continuously hang up in my face. One lady, an older lady even said nope I’m not doing this with you and hung up before I could even say anything so obviously they screen their calls too. This complete is a complete joke and an absolute scam. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, the NC Attorney General’s Office, and reported them to troubleshooter to investigate their predatory practices. My lawyer will also be in touch with them as well because we will be taking this to small claims court if we don’t reach a resolution soon. Be aware of this company, I mean scam.

Worst customer service. Came out as the boot was getting put in my car. Removed the sticker the tow driver put on the car and he immediately said he was charging me for it. Charged me $30 for removing which is false advertising as it doesn’t say there is a charge. Gave the sticker back and he put it in the car and still wouldn’t remove the fee. The guy was unprofessional talking shit on the phone near by and when I confronted him he said he wasn’t trying to be discrete about it. Only wanted to continue stroking his ego. I will be calling the BBB for unlawfully charging $30 for a sticker that doesn’t not advertise a charge. They wrote on it do not remove but doesn’t specify a charge which is illegal.

This company (if you want to call it that) sucks!!! Creep around in the middle of the night and take cars. My car was in an assigned parking spot and they towed it anyway. The people who were “working” when I arrived to claim my vehicle were dirty looking and on the way to get my car the guy just stopped and started talking to someone else. There were sooo many cars there. The office was unkempt…I sanitized my hands when got inside my car. If I could give zero stars I would.

took my car from my friends condo parking. took it after hours and still charged an after-hours pick up fee. notified me at 11:30 that I would be charged an additional fee if I didn't get the car by midnight. got there, was greeted with additional charge for using a card and a car which was blocked in. held my car for another hour just cuz they could. would give zero stars if able.

Had my car towed here a few weeks ago after a miscommunication between the Devon 425 and unlimited recovery on where people could park. Massive pain and hassle in having to get it back. HOWEVER, there was one woman there named Mrs. Miller. A saint of a woman who helped me rightfully get my car back and cleared everything up. Was very nice and helpful in a stressful situation. Need more people like her in this business.

I called today to get information on setting up a contract. The woman who answered the phone was so friendly!! Their drivers whom ive used at North Hills and previous properties ive worked at, are amazing, professional, cordial, and keep their trucks clean! On the note of bad reviews: As someone who's been towed against my will before, I openly admit it was own fault. I was dumb and parked like an idiot. That was on me, NOT the tow company. Just learn how to park and dont be entitled! You dont own the spot you illegally parked in. These drivers are doing their jobs and dont need you being rude and ignorant to them. Get over yourself, stop thinking people owe you anything, and just park normally if you dont want to get towed. If the drivers are rude to you its YOUR own fault, you probably started it and deserve it (amongst much more karma).

They are the main tow of Southside Raleigh and it's obvious. They patrol more than r.pd and Garner p.d, only further proving it's a cash grab for the drivers. I do like that they are open 24/7 that helps as other places may close at 8 and start your next day fee from there.

I was visiting a friend at their apartment today and my car was towed because it was not in visiting parking lot. Anyways when I got into contact with tow service someone mocked my voice because they had me on speaker phone. I heard the guy tell the other one to knock it off. When I asked about the situation they claimed it was a customer and not an employee. I don’t believe that one bit. No professionalism at all.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company is by far the most ridiculously money hungry and a complete scam. My boyfriend’s truck was parked for 10 minutes at my apartment and the tow truck driver was already lifting it up. Instead of just letting it down — since my boyfriend was right there — the guy still made him pay $150 just to drop it back down. He wasn't blocking anything, wasn't abandoned, and the driver hadn’t even fully towed the truck yet. It was obvious this was just about squeezing money out of people, not actually enforcing anything. No grace, no decency, no basic human courtesy. Just a shameless cash grab. Avoid this company at all costs. If they show up, get ready to be extorted — even if you're standing right there.

These people need some serious legal investigation done. They are absolutely rude and will threaten you.. They come around to a mobile home park in GARNER ( INDIAN CREEK) and will literally tow your car for any reason. They had the nerve to tow the car while someone was INSIDE THE CAR. When asked how much is it to let the car go they said a price & when the money was offered they rejected it and proceeded with taking the car. Why? BECAUSE THEY MAKE MORE MONEY WHEN ITS TAKEN TO THEIR SHOP! Be careful with this company!

I had a really frustrating experience with Unlimited Recovery. They towed my car for a reason that just didn't make any sense, and when I tried to get answers, they gave me some made-up explanation that clearly wasn't true. It honestly felt like they were just looking for any excuse to tow and charge ridiculous fees. The whole thing came off as super predatory. Dealing with them was stressful and felt really unfair. I wouldn't wish this on anyone-be careful if you're anywhere near these guys.

Predatory Practices and Vehicle Damage On April 26, 2025, my BMW was towed from PineGate Apartments by Unlimited Recovery while I was away. Despite having a valid parking sticker and no prior issues, my car was removed without warning. Upon retrieval, I discovered significant transmission damage due to improper towing methods. The staff was unprofessional and dismissive, and I was charged $265 for the tow. Additionally, I had to pay $250 to a private company to return my vehicle, as Unlimited Recovery refused. This experience was both financially and emotionally distressing. Further research revealed a pattern of similar complaints against Unlimited Recovery, including predatory towing, unprofessional staff, vehicle damage, and lack of transparency. Given these consistent issues, I strongly advise against using Unlimited Recovery's services.

As the Property Manager of a large commercial/Residential, mixed-use property, I assure you parking can get chaotic at times. We’ve always had public patrons park in our Resident parking lots, etc. In the near 4.5 years that I have worked with Unlimited Towing, these issues have been handled quickly and professionally by their staff. Our Regional Rep, Brian is always there to help us, along with all the dispatchers and drivers with any and all things parking. I look forward to resigning our contract every year because of the amazing customer service, professionalism, and exellence they exude in all situations. If you’re starting a new business let me make the decision easy for you; go with Unlimited Towing!

Exceptional Service – Above and Beyond! I cannot say enough amazing things about this towing company! From the moment I reached out, I was treated with genuine care, professionalism, and respect. It’s rare these days to encounter a business that not only delivers on service—but exceeds all expectations. This team truly sets the gold standard. Frazier was absolutely phenomenal. He is the definition of top-tier customer service—respectful, calm under pressure, incredibly helpful, and genuinely kind. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made a stressful situation feel surprisingly smooth. You can tell he truly cares about people, not just the job. And Brian—wow! He stepped in without hesitation to resolve an issue with speed, professionalism, and warmth. His involvement made all the difference, and I left the experience feeling incredibly supported and valued. This team turned a frustrating moment into a reminder that great people and great service do still exist. If you’re ever in need of towing services, I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Ask for Frazier if you get the chance—he’s a gem. And a huge thank-you to Brian for being so responsive and solution-oriented. Five stars simply aren’t enough!

Towed me from my apartment building because my parking permit wasn’t on the windshield but was laying on the dash — also towed it at 11:30 PM at night and then charged me for an overnight hold. When I showed them the parking permit they were like oh yeah sorry because we didn’t see it when we towed you have to pay literally 400 dollars. A) why are you stalking college apartments in the middle of the night (predatory) B) why are you asking college students to make their way to some psychotic middle of nowhere unlit sketchy lot to pick up their car with hundreds in cash in the middle of the night (predatory) and C) do your due diligence? I feel bad for the girl who had to get my payment she looked like she felt bad but this is actually insane. All of the tow companies in chapel hill are so ethically murky and gross.
Apr 22, 2025 -
Would give -5 stars if I could. Preying on college apartment parking is crazy because students don’t have the funds to be dropping $215 for their cars getting towed. The apartment that i’m at offers passes whenever you want so I don’t understand what the point is in even towing. I had an expired pass from the day before that ended at 12am, but the tow truck did rounds at 3am, mind you the night before it started snowing. So yeah this company is ridiculous but at least the guy that I talked to that night was nice. Also looking at the towing laws I was out at my car and willing to leave before the guy had even attached my car, he had only booted it and I was already out there, so he should’ve negotiated for a lower price or something.

So the day before Christmas Eve in the middle of the night. I stopped by Indigo Apts in Morrisville to drop something off. I see 2 men, one older white guy and a young black guy in the process of towing someone else’s vehicle in a handicap spot. They watch me exit my vehicle and walk up to the third floor. Then as I’m leaving (1 min later), they start towing MY vehicle because I wasn’t parked in a “visitor’s” spot. There were soooo many open spaces that night. Mind you the sign that you have to park in a visitor’s space is in the beginning of the complex (YOU WILL MISS IT! ).There was no reason for them to even bother with my car. I come downstairs trying to reason with the young black guy to unhook my car. He tells me he already hooked it up so there is nothing he can do. Then he finally tells me he will take it down. He gets in the tow truck and drives off… Long story short, I ended up paying $265 to get my car back for being in a parking spot for about a minute. These company is verrryy predatory and has extremely shady practices. Obviously the drivers get paid commission so they will do WHATEVER they can to make a buck. I honestly can’t believe the greed and carelessness around the holiday season. I will be doing whatever I can to report these people. Businesses like this have no place in our society!!

Truck number 18 road around my apartment complex I was parked beside a handy cap spot and I was in my garage with my garage door opened. I was going to my truck and the driver of truck number 18 pushed me out of the way to put a lock on my tire. I had to spend $215 to get the boot off. He was very rude. Refused to give me his name. Unbelievable.

While recovering from a very recent and very rough open back surgery, I was staying with my fiance at skyhouse / 308 s Blount St raleigh. I had permission to park in temporary handicap from skyhouse management and security and also had my handicap placard CLEARLY hanging from the rear view mirror. I awoke the morning of 11/22/24 and saw my car was missing. Upon calling the contracted tow service, Unlimited Recovery , I verified they had towed the vehicle and the tow charge would be $212-225.00 range * i can't recall the exact amount but it was in that range *. Just before paying, I asked exactly WHY it was towed and WHO had it towed because it was CLEARLY & CORRECTLY parked in handicap, WITH my handicap placard CLEARLY displayed. They investigated and said it was towed by a driver on " PATROL " and it was towed due to being parked in FUTURE RESIDENT ONLY parking. Apparently the tow truck drivers photograph vehicles at the time of hookup, Upon the staff looking at the drivers photos , they could clearly see it was , in fact, parked in handicap and NOT future resident as driver claims . Once they realized this they Immediately dismissed all charges/fees and released my vehicle. The two desk ladies were polite and and since I was also polite and calm , I assume is why they dug deeper . Being in the towing business for decades myself, THIS type of towing IS most definitely predatory towing and in this particular situation, could be argued as grand theft auto . I very much feel the driver had/has , less than ethical motives . I feel he/she knew it was legally parked , especially if they even took pictures of the car WITH the sign !

PREDATORS! We were parked at Sungrove apartments for Thanksgiving. Parked at the visitors parking and our car was the only one with out of state tags. They towed it. We called the apartment manager and she told them they had made a mistake that the car should not have been towed because all towing is suspended in the apartment complex during Thanksgiving weekend. So they said they would bring the car back. They brought it back to a COMPLETELY different apartment complex (in front of two random empty apartments) AND damaged the car in the process. They drug my car scraping the muffler for, I kid you not, 9 feet across the concrete. We are filing a police report immediately.

9 Lot on bagwell in Raleigh. Predatory practices in booting. You cannot see the sign that half the lot is reserved when a car is parked in front of it. Paid 195 on two separate cars. Only half the lot is reserved but you wouldn’t know that. Owner of one of the stores told me that two separate employees have gotten booted here too. Reporting to the better business bureau and State. Images provided. I’m not just coming for a refund. I want this to never happen to college kids in this area again.

I was driving westbound on 440 near Gorman St… and this truck that was towing vehicles had a ton of debris flying out of its bed and damaged my windshield… Please hold your drivers responsible.. how hard is to sweep off the bed before getting on the highway?! Rocks and rubble were flying everywhere. Such poor attention to other cars! UPDATE: It's been a couple days since I first posted this review. Since then, Jeremy who was extremely professional and polite called and said he would look into the matter for us. Hopefully, they'll be able to compensate for the damage in some way. However, as you can see in the "response from the owner"... the tone of the response is extremely negative. Essentially, in the response, i made a "false claim" implying I lied about the situation... Clearly, you can see from the accumulation of 745 reviews with 1.7 rating on Google, this company has a negative reputation for a number of reasons, and whoever is handling their online presence is not helping at all with that... You can't respond to people antagonistically... that is just customer service 101. Either way, we appreciated Jeremy calling and hopefully we can find a resolution.

Towed our car on a public street, told me that the townhouse community owns a public street. Have a recording my wife took of as associate saying "sometimes the guys at night mess up they have a quota to meet." Filing a lawsuit today, happy holidays :)

This is the second time this tow company took my car out of my driveway claiming “illegal parking”. They stated that I was parked on the sidewalk, which ALL of our residents who have two cars are parked the exact same way since the beginning of the neighborhood being built and they were NEVER towed. When I called about it the young lady was nasty and also lies about her status at the company when I asked to speak to a manager. Then the actual manager was just as nasty and kept cutting me off when I pointed out the proof of the other vehicles and needing answers as to why IT went From 170 to 245 . When i went up to the location there was 5 different people of color saying the SAME thing as us . Note that the residents with their cars Parked “illegally” as they like to say are non people of color. I have yet to be able to talk to someone with sense and who can explain why they keep targeting my house. Again, the car was in MY driveway and parked JUST LIKE THE OTHERS. Pictures below of evidence from the neighborhood. Note : they dragged our car out of the driveway way while break was on causing damage and the street the neighborhood has to park freely is Eddy Lane and was filled as the pictures show. I get having a business but targeting and being rude/nasty IS NOT the way to go.
