Called east coast towing for a tow of my car back to my house. Was asked year, make, model, scheduled tow. Pay the $120 I was told it would by the payment link texted. Told 90 mins for the appointments before car is picked up. This was at 3:12 pm. It’s now 5:53(as I write this) Not only did I need to call them to find out the driver was delayed. I also get called at roughly 5:40 pm to be told that my tow will also now cost me an extra $65 due to oversight on their own part and needing Dollies to properly tow my car. This tow now has cost me more than if I used my insurance and I’m not happy about it. Voiced my displeasure on the phone and was given an half-assed excuse. Not even any offer to make it better or rectify their own oversight via discount, etc. just “well your insurance would likely reimburse you”
Due to parking lot neglect with all the black ice and snow not being properly disposed, my bumper had gotten stuck on a cement block and the driver Dustin was so patient with me and the situation. Got my car unstuck without the worst case scenario of my bumper coming off ever happening.
I had a 1:00 AM call on a 10 degree night. Started as a tire change but ended in towing. Service call was professional and they came to my location within 20 mins. Dustin was personable and professional. Would recommend the company and Dustin to anyone in need of this type of service.
Had a great experience with these guys. Got to my vehicle at a decent time during winter weather and took excellent care of my vehicle loading and unloading. Big thanks to Dustin and J.R. for the awesome job they did.
Had a CDL truck towed from my yard to the mechanics and was charged more than double what it normally cost. When I questioned the price I was told my truck would not be released to the mechanic until the bill was paid and was offered a 10% “courtesy” discount. Prices increases and billing were not disclosed before tow. I won’t be making that mistake again.
How to get my MC 9 bus towed from Raleigh all the way to another city on a rotator which was huge and the operator j was the best he did a great job hooking up and was very professional I recommend East Coast towing over anyone he did a job that another local company could not do and they had the equipment to do it but just did not know how to do the job East Coast towing the best
Tesla roadside dispatched East Coast towing to repair my flat tire. The tow driver replaced my tire and rim with the Tesla loaner. My tire and rim were to be delivered to the Tesla service for repair. It’s been 30 days, multiple phones calls. Being told that they’ve delivered the tire. Tesla has not received my property to date that East Coast towing took possession of on November 29th.
Thank you the follow up. No one has reached out to resolve. We have just called. Transferred 4 times. Staff hangs up the phone after patiently waiting. Is there a better way to contact someone to get my property that’s pictured below!
Zach came to pick me Up from Riley he’s an awesome driver. They got me to my destination. I really appreciate them. I might even break my truck again so you can come give me another tow!
Unfortunately, my jeep died in the parking lot today and luckily I wasn’t far from a jeep service center. They recommended East Coast Towing to me, indicating that they would get my car there, secure it and drop off the key as I couldn’t leave where I was. Dustin Dougherty met up with me and immediately started problem solving, including finding solutions to unexpected challenges. By the time it was all said and done, he pulled the jeep up on the flat bed and even saved me a nice chunk of change by finding a way to get around the hiccups. He was honest and a pleasure to work with. He was sure to shoot me a message letting me know the jeep was dropped off. It was a great experience and I would recommend East Coast Towing as well. The Dispatcher and the truck operator, Irving were fabulous! Irving ws a great operator. Friendly and safe. I use this company for both business and personal tow's, all hours of the night. Always great!
This was a total disaster, and I will never recommend East Coast Towing. My appointment was at 9AM at Fred Anderson KIA. ECT changed time to 10AM. I called the ETC shop 5 times during the day because they never showed up, and they always made up excuses. Finally, at 3:30PM my wife contacted a young woman at ECT who was surprised to hear that her boss (a man) had told me 45 minutes earlier that she was “7 miles away.” He clearly lied. He also lied to me and my son when he said he would reduce our bill by $50, but the made up more excuses for only reducing it $40. Poor service, untrustworthy personnel (except the woman), and totally unprofessional (except the woman).
Amazing. These guys have heart, good prices, and decades of experience. They transported my vintage Piaggio Ape micro food truck, that pretty much means the world to me. They took it around highways like it was a walk in the park because the crew knew what they were doing. Jason, Rob, Jacob, Rhett… thank you guys so much for making it happen. My event was a total success that turned into over 100 followers and several leads in just one day, and it would have not been possible if not for East Coast Towing. The driver showed up on time and got my truck delivered to the shop in a reasonable amount of time. I am very pleased with their service. Eveyone was very polite from the first contact to the drop-off.
East Coast is the best! Gus came out in less than 20 mins and expertly assessed and fixed our problem. Highly recommend this his company for any of your light to heavy duty needs.
Got a flat tire after hitting something on a country road and couldn't safely get the spare out on so I had to call a tow truck. Dispatch was helpful, but I was told I would get a call about 10:15-10:30 when my car was about to be picked up for the tow. Driver did not call. I called dispatch to check on it and was informed the car was on route to my home and should arrive in 20 minutes and the driver would call me when he arrived. Over an hour passed before the car arrived (past midnight). The driver did not call that time either. The only reason I knew he was here was the back up beeps from the truck. I went outside and stood outside the drivers side door for a minute before he acknowledged I was there. He got out of the truck, walked by me and started to let down the vehicle at the bottom of my driveway way, I had to shout for him to stop so I could ask him to drop the vehicle in the cul de sac should I could more easily change the tire in the morning, which he obliged. He lowered the the ramp of the truck and then reversed my vehicle down the ramp and drove it to the spot I asked with a completely flat tire on the rim. Not sure why I paid extra for a dollies for an all wheel drive car if that is how he was going to move it. Maybe I'm missing something here, but the rudeness is one things (I get it's no fun driving a wrecked in the middle of the night), but why drive my vehicle any distance with a completely flat tire on the rim???
Used this company twice within the last 2 weeks! The guy that answered the phone both times was so pleasant and helpful! The driver was so friendly and patient! The prices are very reasonable! 5 stars all around
Life savers! Carlotta, Irving and Jacob helped me in a pinch after being stranded for 3 hours by another tow truck company that never showed up! Irving got to me in no time and Carlotta followed back up with me to make sure everything was good! Great service, highly recommend!
Great experienced the driver was very professional and cared for my vehicle from not being damaged. All in all it was a Great experience in the operator who I spoke to was great as well.
The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. The bill was a little more than first quoted but not unreasonable at all. I would use them again and recommend them as well.
Had to get my car towed home from an ex-friend's house after forgetting my keys in Kentucky. Service desk was very polite and understanding and the driver himself was even more-so. My job has used ECT before in the past with our box trucks and I will definetly call upon them again for a personal use case.

I had a flat tire this morning and Freddie was incredible. He notified me and arrived quickly, made sure I was safe, and loaded my car with expert care. Awesome experience with this company my insurance company requested a tow from a different company that was a 2 hour wait and I decided to give these guys a shot . Upon calling the original wait time was an hour but the driver should up about 30 minutes ahead of schedule , better price , and was super efficient. Irvin was the operator that picked up my car he was a gentleman and moved quickly thanks again for the help Irvin!
I just went through a 17 hour ordeal trying to get towed. Despite the fact I pay for 100 mile towing, AAA has become so automated and illogical they were only willing to call towing companies in the area known as "middle of nowhere" where I was broken down. After several hours in the dark on the edge of the interstate, a company agreed to tow me up to 30 miles so I was safe for the night... this was a help but I was still 55 miles from home. Four different times I received automated texts that "Help was on the way" only to have hours pass and no one arrive. Apparently some tow companies will accept the job but then depending on the distance and location they decide it's not worth their time. One driver actually admitted "AAA doesn't pay enough for me to drive that far." Ugh! After hours of dealing with the AAA Roadside Assistance nonsense through the AI robot and the app, I finally reached an actual human being who connected me with a supervisor - several more calls to reach a supervisor able to realize the local companies were not working. She agreed to call a company in Raleigh and gave approval for the 55 mile tow. When I spoke to Lexi at East Coast Towing, I knew things were about to change for the better. She sent out driver Willie Naylor and he got the job done! Willie not only did great work, he was great company on the ride back home. I cannot say enough positive things about East Coast Towing - professional, knowledgeable, can be trusted to keep their word and willing to go the extra mile. FIVE STARS and a huge thank you for getting me home!

Zach was outstanding. He had great care with the equipment even looking out for low branches from the spot I broke down. Really appreciate great work in the times we are living in.
They towed our car here, but they won't show it. They wouldn't let me take my car because it was Saturday. I had my wallet in the car, they wouldn't let me take it, then he talked to his boss and they only wanted 40 dollars to take my wallet from the car.
I was in quite a pickle with my Tesla Model X turning into a brick... let me tell you, this car weighs over 6000 pounds... and we were unable to open it to even get the wheels moving to put it in neutral.. Bobby was just the right guy for the job!! What a thorough professional! He was unfazed. He handled the situation with confidence and showed how his experience outweighed all the issues that we had going into the problem. It was late in the evening and extremely dark... he put all my anxieties at ease, and achieved the end result flawlessly. He was even courteous enough to go inform my neighbors about potentially driving on their yard. I really feel grateful for Bobby's confidence and his jolly personality... I highly recommend this towing company for all of your needs... they arrive in a pinch and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
