Went to pick up some meat at the Butcher’s Market last night, came out and my car wouldn’t crank. I called Kimball’s and asked if they had anyone near me. He said “I’m probably an hour out, but I’ll make this drop and I’ll text you my arrival time”. A few minutes went by and he texted me he’d be at my location in less than thirty minutes. David was at my car 28 minutes later, hooked the car up and had it on the truck within minutes. Super nice guy, took care of my car and dropped it off for me at the shop that will fix it. Quick and easy, great service, very reasonable. I’d recommend these guys to anyone needing a tow. Thanks David.
We had an issue with one of our cars last night. My husband called to arrange the tow. David was very professional and friendly. He was on a call, but told us that he would text us when he was on the way. Our wait wasn’t long at all, and he took care of our tow. I would definitely recommend this company! My husband and I are from Maryland. We traveled to Nashville, NC to visit family. On Monday, 5/20, my husband and I drove to Knightdale , NC (35 miles) to run some errands. On our way back to Nashville, NC, the transmission in our 2013 Nissan Armada wouldn’t go into gear and was profusely leaking transmission fluid. We called 1 towing company in Knightdale who gave us a 60 - 90 minute ETA. They never showed up. While still stranded, we called a 2nd towing company who gave us the same ETA (60-90 minutes). They never showed up. After that ETA expired, we called Kimball’s Towing & Recovery (Knightgale, NC). The dispatcher gave us a 45 minute ETA. Kimball’s driver, Bruce, actually arrived in about 30 minutes and got to work immediately. He loaded and secured our Nissan, Armada on the flatbed skillfully. He towed our vehicle and drove us to the Nissan dealer in Nashville,
NC. He was extremely professional and personable. We engaged in friendly discussions during the entire towing trip. The 35 mile towing trip felt like a 15 minute pleasant drive. So much so, that we forgot that we had stressful car issues that awaited us. Bruce was awesome and has the right personality and demeanor to diffuse a stressful situation. Thank you, Bruce, for making a stressful situation much less stressful! My husband has solicited several towing companies in MD and said Kimball’s was the best towing experience that he had ever had. We were traveling from out of town and unfortunately, we had a horrific accident on I-40. Not to mention, on a rainy, dark Sunday night. I contacted Kimball and he was there before the state trooper arrived. We were traveling with our 3 dogs and my parents were an hour and half way. Kimball was kind and gracious to wait for my parents to pick us up. He also ensured that we were safe despite the loitering patrons. This experience will be one that we never forget- kimball is the man!

My first experience was when my wife had an appointment and found herself locked out her car. David came on the call found our house in the middle of nowhere an accomplishment on it's own and had her car unlocked and her on way arriving only 15 minutes late for the appointment. Obviously a lock out service was not in her scheduling but Kimball's made it happen smoothly and kept a potentially stressful event light and upbeat!
Our second encounter was when the transmission went out on the car. David said he would be there in 20 minutes made it in under 15. Then gave me a ride back to Zebulon so I could get picked up and on way to work that much faster! And yes tow truck drivers DO NOT have to let you ride with them, some are even prevented from doing so by corporate or insurance rules and regulations.
David is a great guy has an impeccable reputation and if you let him will keep you laughing throughout what could be very stressful event, no one likes having their car towed for any reason, if you do you are just wierd!
Again, highly recommend Kimball's Towing and suggest everyone have them on their contact list.
I cannot believe how friendly and efficient this company was. After waiting an hour for my insurance to find a company, I called Kimball's and was sitting in the tow truck on the way to the body shop within 10 minutes. No lie. David was very personable and great to talk to and he even waited around at the body shop until I could figure out my rental car and took me home. I've got them saved as a contact in my phone in case I ever need help again.
Towing company was recommended by the car dealership. They were a bit pricier than the other 3 companies I called for a quote, but I went with Kimball because they were already familiar with the dealership process. I am very glad I did. I don't recall the name of the driver who came to pick up my vehicle, but my SUV was not able to start or shift from parking. My husband who is very knowledgeable about vehicles had removed a bolt/nut while trying to diagnose the problem. It was a very small part and it was one part, but the driver immediately knew the part was missing and asked for it. He was very careful and took his time getting my vehicle into the flatbed in the 100 degree heat, when no one would want to be outside. The flatbed looked very new.

David K picked up my call immediately and adjusted their schedule to get me in urgently so that I can make my afternoon repair appointment and be able to pick my kids up on time. The driver Jason showed up on time and was even a little early. He was communicative, friendly, professional. They towed my car on a flatbed trailer from wendell to Apex. I was referred to them by lizard lick towing who was busy. The price quote was on the high-end but it was pretty comparable to what others were charging in the area. I was willing to pay more for someone who was responsive and able to get me in urgently.

Great service and fast response time! Needed to get a tow and had reached out to triple a, waited for an hour and still was sitting on the side of the highway with the wait time getting pushed back more and more. Kimball’s will be the only towing company we use! They were able to come out immediately to tow my car (with faulty brakes) to the mechanic of our choice. While towing that car, they jumped a dead battery in our other car so we didn’t have to tow that one too! They have the friendliest service and great prices! Thank you, Kimball’s!

One of our company vans was in a accident and they were very quick to pick up and they were very fast to schedule a time to come get the supplies out of the van, he even helped move stuff from the wrecked van into our trailer. Above and beyond.
Our truck caught a flat driving home from Greenville to Charlotte today. We pulled off at the Knightsdale Eagles Road exit. There were numerous tow places in the area but we had our car towed by Kimball Towing. They were so fast, I called them at 4:55p and by 5:03p a tow truck was in route to me. By 5:35p their company had already picked up my truck and had it towed to a local tire shop. I was back on the road by 6:03pm!! Impeccable fast, reliable, professional service!

Great service. Car broke down on 64, searched for nearby towers and David was the first one that came up. He gave me a reasonable quote and had me out of there and to the nearest mechanic in no time. Hope I never have a need to call him again, but if I do I know I'll be in good hands.
