AFFORDABLE, honest and quick mechanics. I had a slow brake fluid leak, they figured it out, called me with estimate, fair price range to continue, price ended up less than estimated. Hence my honest and affordable statement, my neighbor is now using them.
If you live in this area, go here. Don't look any further. Even if they have a wait time and can't get to your car right away, it's worth the wait for these people. The prices are very very fair, which is becoming harder to find in this industry, they do not take advantage of anyone and are very honest. They also are followers of Christ and treat people the right way. They helped my wife and I on our honeymoon and we are very grateful for these people. I wish I could move this shop to where I live.
We thought our car needed a new starter but these honest people said we didn’t!! How nice to run into people who are honest and caring!! Will always go to Larry’s from here on out!!
They seem to be good Christian folk. Unfortunately, they couldn't help me with my particular trouble, but they took a little time out of their busy morning to check my truck and advise me on what to do. I've been looking for a new mechanic since my old one retired. I think I may have found it. I'll keep you posted.

I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 manual 4WD with only 80K miles. I burnt out the clutch trying repeatedly to back a tow-behind compressor up a steep curved gravel driveway. Boyd (in H'ville) wanted upwards of $2100 to fix, and that was before they discovered I would need a new (or resurfaced) flywheel. The estimate from Larry was half that, and a reasonable amount extra when he discovered my flywheel problem. The new clutch took some getting used to, but by the third driving it felt pretty normal. I do my own work on my truck whenever feasible, but this job seemed a bit over my head, and my truck is my only vehicle. So at the end, I found a mechanic I trust, and Larry has a new lifelong customer.
I cannot tell you how pleased I was with the customer service, professionalism, and kindness of the staff at Larry's. I brought my car for the first time and I couldn't believe how well they communicated with me on the details of what needed to be done. It was not at all what I expectedness, but they have won me as a customer. I will continue to bring my car here for service.

I've known Larry since I was a child. I spent a lot of time at his old shop because my stepfather worked there. He and his family are good Christian people and they will not steer you wrong.
Also, the waiting room is very inviting. It's not something you see much in a mechanic shop.
Larry's wife is the receptionist and she is so sweet and accommodating.

I been having all my vehicles serviced here for over 10 years. Larry and his family are honest, hardworking and trustworthy people. He delivers great repair work at reasonable prices. I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else. That includes my classic cars as well!
Larry's has been the best mechanic for my car. They were honest, affordable and flexible to work with. I recommend them to anyone. My car had some unknown issues and they didn't stop at just fixing the symptoms but all the way to the root of the problem. Very impressed, this type of service is rare. Super honest, competent, and just plain nice people. However, it can take awhile to get your car in due to them having so many satisfied customers. Highly recommend.
Mr. Larry and Mrs. Nancy couldn't be greater and wonderful owners. You go to Mr. Larry you know he is going to do the job right. Can't say this for most auto shops in this town but Mr. Larry is honest, humble and straight forward. He also has the best working for him. Larry's Auto Shop is a place I would recommend not going to. In the process of fixing my car they broke a part and insisted it was my fault and insisted i would pay over $200 to get it fixed. If you are looking for a local repair man i would strongly suggest anyone else.
Fantastic group of knowledgeable people on your vehicle needs. They are the only people I trust when it comes to service and quality parts. I truly like the fact that they are extremely honest and never do anything without your knowledge and permission. They put car dealerships to shame !!!
I have been going to Larry's for more years than I can count and I must say they ALWAYS come to me with a fair quote before they do the job. Then, they are always on quote, no surprises! They are kind, curious, and they know their stuff. They are Christian's and they show it in how they do business. I never go anywhere but Larry's and I always recommend them to others. You will not find better mechanics or a nicer family then everyone at Larry's.

A straight up, honest auto repair shop unlike most car dealerships. Something good I thought was extinct. Larry is the boss, his wife runs the back office and he and his sons are the mechanics. It might take awhile, unless it's an emergency, to get it, but it's worth the wait for reasonably priced, expert work. And, during the summer, pretty flowers by the door.
While on vacation in the area a local dealership wanted to charge me $2000 to replace a control arm on my Ford Flex and also told me my vehicle would be unsafe to drive until the work was done. Upon the advice of a local resident I went to Larry’s for a second opinion. Larry’s son, Denny, told me that even though they would not be able to replace the part for at least two days due to the volume of work they already had, he would put my car on a lift to take a look at the problem. After a short wait he called me back into the work area to show me what he had found. How often does that happen?!?! He explained that while the control arm on the driver’s side needed replacing, the vehicle was not unsafe to drive and that I could drive it back home where my local mechanic could make the repair. He also pointed out that the worn control arm was causing uneven tire wear. Further, he explained that if he did the repair it would cost less than $300. To sum up, Larry’s Auto spent over a half hour examining a problem with my vehicle, explaining it to me, and giving me peace of mind concerning its safety. And they didn’t charge me a cent. These people are rare. Take your car to Larry’s. Thanks again, Denny!
Had my SUV towed to the shop because it wouldn't start. I'm from out-of-state and it was approaching closing time so I appreciated the attention that I received to get me back on the road. After testing a few things, it was determined that I needed a new battery which was installed immediately. Very professional and friendly environment.
I was charged $60 for an oil change for my Ford Fusion sedan; that's pretty expensive for a standard oil change.
An air filter was also installed for an additional $20. I was told that my air filter was in poor condition and that is why it was installed. I am irritated about it, is because my car went in for an oil change and an entirely different component of my vehicle was worked on and charged for without my permission.
