Great little thrift store! They had some really good name brand items with very fair prices. I bought several items that I am very excited about. My friend also found several items and enjoyed herself. I will definitely be back and be telling everyone I meet.
If you're local or just visiting Lake Lure, this is a must stop if you're into thrift stores. This store supports charities, dedicated to helping and saving animals. If you have any donations and I need a place to drop them off, please consider Lils. The entire staff as volunteer and they truly care about the community and the animals that they help. From one business owner to another, hire more customer oriented volunteers! We were visiting Lake Lure this weekend and definitely wanted to make sure we supported some of the businesses in town after all that they have been through recently. We stopped in on Friday, they had some really cute things and great prices. I specifically picked out about 5 or 6 items that were labeled with a green sticker and the signage everywhere stated that the green stickers were 50 percent off. When the not so nice lady rang us up I pointed out that my total seemed a little high. She proceeded to “throw” her little sticky note pad onto the counter in front of me and said in a very snarky way “no, look it’s all right here with the 25 percent off” Before i could mention that they were 50 percent off she did correct herself and say again with an attitude “oh shoot green is 50 percent” so while she did fix it , it was her attitude that bothered us from the moment we walked in. We weren’t greeted , we said hello no one responded.My husband proceeded to say excuse me twice to this lady to ask a question and she finally turns around and says “oh sorry i’m trying to post things to instagram” Just all around terrible
customer service . Which honestly, was the complete opposite of how we were treated by other businesses in the area. Such a shame, because again, really cute little place and for a good cause!
Visited on Friday 11/15/24 and absolutely loved every minute of it! We happened to see this little place when we were driving by for brunch at Highlands Reserve. We stopped by on our way back from brunch and I am so glad we did! Such cute little finds and incredible prices! I am not huge on thrifting but if I lived nearby I would check this place out weekly! So many things to see and it’s not all just junk like you often find when you go to a large chain thrift store that I won’t mention. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in or around Lake Lure!

I never leave reviews but really want to boost this small but mighty shop! Got so much good stuff yesterday and the women working was so kind and loving!
Visited the shop twice while vacationing in Lake Lure. Very cozy with a very nice inventory. Didn’t leave empty handed either time and am always happy to support the animals. ♥️
These people are amazing! Full of energy and always glad to meet you. I've donated items here, and all of the proceeds go to animal services. They just recently renovated their space and it looks so fresh and new. I highly suggest stopping by and see what they have.
Great little thrift store off the beaten path, went there at a great time and found some lovely paintings and a film camera, the lady that was covering was the nicest!, The prices were great and everything was clean and tidy, thank you for my new art!
This store had a few items of worthy note. It's a small store but was organized well. If you like glassware, they had plenty & several what knot items. Parking easy in & out.
This is no longer Rutherford County Humane's Society thrift store despite all the items in the store being donated so the money would go specifically to this charity. Lillian G. Rossow helped established this place to assist this organization and the Rutherford County Humane Society helped with the cost to repair this building. Someone, without the knowledge of the Rutherford County Humane Society, made the decision to say they benefit animal care. This is not what Lillian Rossow intended and will take away the needed funds from Rutherford. Boycott this establishment and consider making a direct donation to Rutherford County Humane Society instead.
I bought items from this place and it was a neat thrift shop but the workers seemed very frazzled. I bought 3 shot glasses that didn't get put in my bag when I left. So when I got home they wasn't in there. I was very unhappy because im from out of town. 2.5 hours to be exact. I bought an orange flower plate and stand and I had to go back to get my stand. Luckily I noticed that before leaving town.There wasn't a display sign on it like everything else. If so I wouldn't have bought it. I did buy a good bit of stuff there so there was interesting items to me.
