On my way home from work on Hwy 221 at the waterfall at the Watauga/Caldwell county line tonight I had a flat. 2 wonderful men, Richard and Terry stopped to help me. I called my roadside assistance from my insurance company and they wanted to send me a text to drop a pin. I had 1 bar and was going from SOS to 1 bar. I tried to explain that to him and he stated he could not get my location so no one can come. Well by the Grace of God with Richard and Terry working to help me a tow truck happens by... THANK YOU Alex for you kindness and helping get my puppy and I home safely.

Ashe Towing delivered appropriately sized snow chains for our vehicle after 7 inches of snow hit us in Banner Elk. The phone operator was very professional and kind when problem solving with us and the two gentlemen who came by showed us how to install and remove the snow chains quickly. They also let us follow them up the road the safest route back into town to make sure we were safe and did not take the hilly section that all the locals avoided during snow.

Great service, the guys were awesome. We needed our car towed around 600ft from the main road and they got the job done in the most professional manner. Also really nice and offered a ride back to our place up in the mountain. 10/10

Anthony and Shannon were a tremendous help to me and my 7 year old son when we were involved in a car accident in Boone. They were patient, kind, helpful, honest, and understanding. Our car was undrivable and AAA was having trouble finding us a ride back home, 2 hours away. Shannon and Anthony stepped in and got us home, also hauling all our things from our wrecked car. They were empathetic and just helped in a time of many unknowns. We appreciate them getting us back home!!!

We called a tow truck driver because we had a flat and the tire was completely unable to budge. We were waiting for them to show up and when they arrived, they were incredibly kind and got our issue resolved almost immediately. However, that was when the ACTUAL tow truck that our insurance had scheduled arrived. It was incredibly funny to us because we never questioned who they were and assumed they were who was called, but basically these kind folks weren't getting paid to help us, but did it out of their incredible kindness. They did not ask for any kind of payment, they only saw us stranded in need and decided to help. I would 100% pay them any time to be the next tow truck driver we hire not just due to how quickly they helped us, but also due to how kind and honorable they are. Cannot recommend these people enough

This past Saturday afternoon my husbands motorcycle hit a giant pot hole and he popped his tire and caused damage to his bike. Me being over 200 miles away in a panic, called every towing place I could find. Shannon not only called right back, she got a driver on is day off to handle the situation. I have never had a place of business care so much, promptly with class. You will not find a better towing company around, great cost as well. Thank you again Shannon and team for rescuing my family, getting everyone home safe even though hundreds of miles away. I cannot thank yall enough.

Our alternator failed while driving home from the mountains on a Sunday when all the repair shops were closed. AAA connected us with Ashe towing. Shannon and team were fantastic. They not only replaced our alternator so we could get home, but they saved me more on the alternator with their commercial discount than they charged me for the repair. We had to get help getting out of ruts caused by heavy rain, on gravel road. We contacted AAA. We are so grateful they sent Ash Towing. They arrived quickly and had to be creative to get us unstuck. It started raining again and they just continued. Their attitude was so professional and friendly. Even backed our van up the tricky driveway for us. Probably the absolute best people to ever get us out of our predicament. Thank you, Ash Towing!!!!!!

I've used Ashe Towing multiple times in the last few years and today, they came out and helped my daughter get back into her car. I've had others people come out, and they too opened it but this guy, Robert, had it open in a matter of minutes. He knows what he is doing. Great service, great employees. We are lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Very nice and considerate people, I really feel lucky AAA dispatched them to help my car. While being towed,I told them about how my brakes and rotor needs to be replaced and how everywhere was going to charge 900+ to fix it, and how I was desperate to get it done before Monday, and they set me up with their mechanic as well as helped me get the parts I needed from o reillys to get it done ASAP for quite a bit cheaper

I called AAA to assist with a startup problem with my vehicle, and Ashe Towing responded to help. Anthony came out to try to start the vehicle and immediately ran into a very complex diagnostic problem. He worked through it methodically and persistently, well past the point I would have given up and left it sitting there. He went back to town to get replacement parts to test the problem, and got me started again and back home to my city 3 hours away. Because we were stuck on an overnight trip in a remote location with plans to leave early, nixed by the car trouble, he quickly realized we'd not had any food that day and offered to sort out that problem as well. I was overwhelmed by a few things: getting expert mechanic help from what I thought was a company that only provided towing services (unrequested actually - he just immediately started in on the problem), graciousness in his attitude to help out someone in trouble, above and beyond the immediate job, and very fair pricing. If car trouble wasn't such a pain I would recommend having some just to meet these nice folks. Ashe Towing is the BEST.

I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Ashe Towing Service. Their transport technician “Anthony” arrived promptly to Boone NC, offered to run a test on the electrical system, and immediately diagnosed the issue with my 1997 Jaguar. Within 5 minutes, he identified the solution, and had the vehicle running perfectly, - saving me the inconvenience of having it towed across town to a service facility. Next time you have an automotive problem, do yourself a favor and call Ashe Towing in Jefferson, NC. You’ll be glad you did.

The gentleman and his wife who owns this company was in Mooresville, NC passing through. We had a blowout and was stuck at a gas station without a jack and the screws were rusted tight and could not get the spare off. This man came over and gave his time helping with the tire when he could have got back in his vehicle and went on his way. He plugged the tire and aired it up. I highly recommend this company and this man to hire for your business. He is a great person and we very much appreciate his help that he gave. I got his business card and will be referring him to anyone that needs a tow company in his servicing area.

Good communication and service. Anthony asked if he could take care of another customer first that was in bigger bind than we were and of course we said yes but it says a lot about character to even ask and prioritize people. Anthony came out after keeping us updated and provided the service we needed. Heck of a nice guy you get a real sense that Anthony genuinely cares about solving your problem. I am sure he had worked a long day,especially being a football game weekend, but didn't mention it, didn't complain just " let's get this taken care of", thank you and do need anything else? Still good people out there.

I was stranded in the Hobby Lobby parking lot in Boone, NC today. When I realized that my car was not going to start, I called AAA for a towing service to tow my car to Rock Hill, SC. This was around 11:45 a.m. I informed the AAA agent that the lights, radio, automatic windows and automatic seats were working so I didn’t think it was the battery. I was convinced that the starter was dead. I got a text informing me that the tow truck would arrive at 2:42! Several updates arrived letting me know that the time had changed -( later and later). Finally I received a call from Anthony, with Ashe Towing. He informed me that Alex, his tow driver, was 5 minutes away and would take me and my car to Rock Hill, SC. The tow truck and Alec arrived in LESS than 5 minutes!! Alex asked me if he could try to crank the car and of course I said “certainly “. He immediately told me that he thought it was the battery. He put a charger on the battery and after about 10-15 minutes the car cranked with no problem. No need for towing!! I was able to drive across the street to Auto Zone where Robert B. installed a new battery. Before I got back to my Boone residence, Anthony called to make sure that everything was fixed and the car was running as it should. The time span from my 1st call to AAA and the time I got a call from Anthony was about 3 1/2 hours. The time span from Anthony’s first call until my car was fixed so I could get to Auto Zone, was less than 20 minutes. Anthony called several times to make sure all was going well. I can not say enough nice things about Anthony, Alex and Ashe Towing. They were prompt, professional, and seemed genuinely concerned about my safety and the solution to getting my car running properly. A BIG ThankYOU to those guys. Hopefully I won’t need them again, but just know I will NOT delete their numbers. They are the GOAT - (Greatest Of All Times). THANK YOU to all at Ashe Towing🙏💖🙏

I locked my keys out out my Silverado truck last night..And everyone wants to get back home soon..AAA sent me Ashe county towing service to help and they sent the nicest, respectful young man to help me, and he had it open in 2 minutes!! Thank you so much!! I'll spread the good word! ♥️😊

Got in a jam with AAA. They got their wires all crisscrossed and Ash towing came up with a great workaround where they would get my car tonight protect it over evening and then be able to take it to its destination tomorrow. Thank you for working with me Ash Towing.

Crashed my car while on vacation. Driver let me ride with him to their salvage lot and helped me clean out my car. Let me stop for a drink and waited until my ride could get there before locking up my car. Billy was very nice.

This is an honest and very efficient company. Once called, they came in minutes and pulled our equipment out of the mud. They went the extra mile to help us complete our task with the equipment before leaving. I am so happy to know who we can count on for help and expert service! AAA+

This company towed my wife's car after an accident. They went above and beyond. We were missing keys, they found them and brought the keys to us at the ER. Hope to never have to use in this situation again, but to highly recommend this company.
