We had a flat tire between Ramseur and Liberty in December 2025 around 9:30pm at night. No other towing company in the area would pick up the phone. Big Tim's did. Tim was polite professional and courteous during the entire exchange. Had a tow truck out there in 30 minutes. The driver who arrived also was polite, professional and courteous. Thank you!
My car wouldn't start on an entrance ramp. A different towing company tried to scam me. Called Big Tim's for the towing. Tim and his wife came to my location and stayed with me until their tow truck arrived. For me that was above and beyond what others would be willing to do. Very thankful. If anyone ever needs car towing or any other services they offer Big Tim's is the way to go.
We got stranded on a Sunday evening around 6:45 pm due to transmission problems. I called 4 towing companies, 1 had a truck in the shop, one was dispatched to Wilmington, both friendly. 1 no answer, and then there was Big Tim. He was so pleasant and accomodating.
Big Tim helped me process my best option and had the truck out there about 32 minutes from call. The reason I specify 32 is because he called me at 30 and inquired if the truck was out there. Great customer service.
That's not all, the truck driver was splendid. Not too talkative but enough to show empathy to our situation with no gripes regarding responding to a Sunday afternoon call during dinner time.
I'd like to mention all of the specifics, but I'd hate to set that as an expectation. Let me just say that they took care my 2 family members and myself, making us feel safe in a stressful situation.

A sudden flat tire stranded me on 421 yesterday and I was lucky enough to get a referral to Big Tim's Towing. Dillon came and loaded my car onto his flatbed and carried us to a nearby service station where he changed the tire for me. He pointed out the condition of my punctured tire, noted that my brakes were good, and advised me about the use of my temporary spare. He did it all in a timely, professional, and friendly manner, despite it being the hottest day of the year so far and having to fight wall-to-wall traffic on 421. Very nice and helpful very respectful. My baby was being born in greensboro and my mama had 2 tires blow and she lives 2 hours from where it happened he gave us a wonderful price he took the car on Sunday from the side of the road and held it till the tire shop he suggested opened and they also had a wonderful price as well. Big Tim really looked out for us he's amazing and we need more people that conduct business and deal with people like he does. Thank you Mr. Tim
BIG TIM'S TOWING shout out!!
I called Big Tim's Towing last night after getting stuck in a ditch and he was on the way immediately at 948 at night. Luckily a passing motorist pulled me out. I called to cancel and he said he had another wreck to go to, I offered to pay and he said no and even called back about 30 minutes later to check on me. What a great company.
My roadside tragedy turned into an amazing experience and blessing that I will carry for the rest of my life. Simply saying "Big Tim's Towing is great" just isn't enough for this review.
At my own fault, I did not prepare my car tires for the long trip. I am a professional artist and have focused on that my whole life so these types of responsibilities and knowledge escape me at times.
I called Big Tim's Towing and I explained the situation and Big Tim said, "Gee, nothing is open here at this hour and I will not be able to sleep knowing that you were out there in the cold. Give me a few minutes." Big Tim called up one of his employees and they came out to get me within 15 minutes with a flatbed. I got in and they loaded my car on the back.
In the morning we called Liberty Tires that also took great care of me as well.

This company is prompt, workers are courteous and caring. They went above and beyond The call of duty to help a family member get out of deep trouble with his car. Making sure he was safely off the dangerous highway.
Is the new tow company for the apartment complex I live at. Refused to tow a car from my parking spot assigned to my apartment. Had to park across the street at a closed business and leave my car over night.
Big Tim and his Wife are AWESOME! My phone call at Noon on a Sunday was immediately answered, excellent questions were asked to verify the situation and they were onsite quickly. Big Tim’s Towing service is the best around he went and got a 2007 BMW for me this morning. Great price and was there at the time we agreed! And did a awesome job loading the car and very detailed! He knows what he is doing and treats your car with respect and is quick getting job done but also is very careful loading!! Will surely do my towing in future and if you need someone to do the job right and affordable give them a call! Hands down best around!

Absolutely amazing! They were professional, reliable literally everything positive in the book. We called and booked them for a tow my husband was messing with the car and missed their call and the owner and his wife even came out to see if we were ok and to let us know the driver was calling us. They then pushed my husbands car into a safe area and watched the car till their driver came so that we could go home. They went way and beyond and if I could give them 100 stars I would! Thank you guys so much! We will definitely use you guys every single time!
Broke down on a Sunday morning & gave them a call. The guy was really professional and friendly- got to me and got me loaded up in about 30-45 minutes and towed me to my repair shop & even dropped me off at my house after. Couldn’t ask for better service- would definitely recommend and use them again!
My brother was in a bad accident and was in the hospital and we were looking for the towing company that had his car. I reached out to this company as I was given their name and number by highway patrol. Tim was the one who answered the phone and I cannot stress how nice, understanding and thorough he was. He was so helpful in giving us the information about the car and assisting in additional very helpful information for my brothers situation and even giving him more advice once he got there to gather his things from the vehicle. Tim was conveying so much thought and sincerity to his situation and was just a delight to speak with. Great towing service! Helped me out several times over the years. A+! They are also nice enough to let folks know about road conditions in winter and stormy conditions if you follow them on Facebook. Always my first choice when I need towing or heavy equipment moved.

Once we got towed we were charged an extra $100. No pricing on their website. When driver was asked about rates he said he had no idea if there was a hookup fee, first 5 miles included, per mile charge. Driver Travis decided to tell us how he's just a simple guy as a defense to not knowing anything about his business.

These guys are great. They have a roller back so lowered cars are safe. They even put gloves over the hooks so my drop axel didn't get scratched! To top it off they gave me a ride home.
From where I'm sitting in the front seat of my car waiting and watching my friends who are very pleased that big Tim's towing is a reasonable good man who is doing them a favor and not costing them at all what most tow companies would charge a arm and leg to get. So we are pleased with Big Tim's Towing and will pass on his good deed and promote his good name any chance given thank you for coming my friend a break she needs one good bless you happy New year
Requested a tow recommendation in the Nextdoor App. Needed a tow from one end of town to the next. Prompt, professional, polite, pricing was more than reasonable!! Would definitely recommend Tim for your towing needs!!! Excellent friendly and quick service.
Helped me change out a tire that seperated on the highway. Used his own free time and labor, while I provided the spare. Pleasant to talk to and supports veterans/service members as well! About as honest a person you can get. I'd absolutely recommend his services to anyone in the area close enough for him to get too, or if you can get to his shop.
Had to call Big Tim's towing this evening due to our vehicle dying and leaving us stranded on the side of the Road in Siler City! When we called, they answered promptly, informed us they would be on their way in a few minutes and even arrived in UNDER 20 minutes after calling them. They towed the vehicle back to our residency and unloaded it very quickly as well. The price was great but the customer service the driver provided us was EXCELLENT! We are so greatly thankful and blessed to have such a great company who can help you so quickly in your time of need!! Thank you so very much!!
