Nick was the best! We were driving through from out of town and had some car problems, he bent over backwards to help us! He stayed late, ordered parts quickly, and got the work done right away so we could get back on the road. He was cheerful during the whole process and very honest. Would totally use them over and over again if they were local to me!
1st experience w a mechanic since moving to the state. Good owner, hard working, and takes the extra time to put in the effort! Will continue to go back, and I definitely recommend!! Id rather spend my $ at a small business than a chain.

Nick replaced my Mustang engine that had thrown a rod with a Jasper rebuild. He saved me thousands on the job. There was also worn gears in my transmission that he was able to replace saving me a ton of money, considering most shops will force you to replace the whole transmission vs just the parts that are worn. He communicated well throughout this major job, keeping me informed of any other issues he found along the way. He is definitely a perfectionist.
Today was my first time at Padgett's Automotive. I could not have been treated any nicer than Nick treated me. He is truly a mechanic who cares about his customers. He certainly put my mind at ease and my heart at peace regarding my car repair despair.
Me and a friend went to the beach and our transmission started acting up. They checked it free of charge and incredibly friendly and understanding. I wish I could do way more than just leave a 5-star review. I highly recommend coming here. There’s also a good hotdog place nearby to relax at.
Nick was great he understood my stress after my vehicle breakdown and was able to get me in right away. Made sensible no pressure suggestions about extending the life of my vehicle. Happy to have found a good trustworthy mechanic to service our vehicles.
