Ronnie was supposed to fix my Camshaft, Rocker arms and lifters in my Dodge. Ronnie said the repair will take him a day and a half. It took him a week. When I got the vehicle back it had lost of power and the vehicle could barely move. I drove it home because his shop was closed. The next day I dropped it back he redid his repair this time it took him 3 months. I kept calling to find out what's the update with my vehicle he kept saying different things. He then calls me telling me I can come by and pick up the vehicle and there is nothing else he can do to fix the issue. I tried disputing the charge but was denied by his bank. By law I shouldn't have paid for a repair he couldn't fix. He cleared all the codes on my car and once I got home with my car it started acting up again and the check engine light came back on.I had my vehicle towed to another shop and they recommend I change out my entire engine because the damage was extensive.
No mechanic in the Efland, Hillsborough and Mebane area is more knowledgeable. He combines that with a an affordability factor that is great. He can repair gas or diesel affordable as it gets.
Ronnie, I want to thank you and Jeff for the excellent work you both did on diagnosing and installing the injection pump on my 2nd gen Dodge 12v. Even going so far as to repair an issue you found with the crank seal. The truck is running amazing and just as it should! Yours and Jeff's attention to detail and skill to resolve this problem speaks volumes as to the nature of your expertise. Thank you! Ronnie took the time to access the issue on my 1018 F150 with the cam phaser issue. He replace what he felt was necessary. He kept me informed and updated through the job. Now is am backup and running like it should. I will absolutely go back to him and his team!

Fuel pump replaced because fuel gauge wasn't working. Fuel gauge isn't working again. Valve covers replaced and is now leaking. These repairs should last longer than one or two years.
My father has been bringing his truck here for work for a while ronnie has always been great. Prices are reasonable and the work is honest. We will be back in the future.

Ronnie's Auto is great, always very honest and they DO NOT overcharge for unnecessary things. I have taken my mother's car for a control arm replacement and a diagnosis for a shuddering problem. For the shuddering, all it ended up needing was some transmission fluid. I felt stupid for not figuring it out myself but grateful to know that was all it was. He could have told me anything and charged me and arm and a leg for something I didn't need but instead it was under $60 for the time and the fluid to put in the car. The control arm job was less than $90 for the time it took to fix it. The only additional cost was for the part I supplied myself since I found a better deal than him. It's really nice to be able to do that in case I as a customer can find something else to save money. I will definitely be a returner. The only thing I would say I wish was different was that I wish I was able to watch the work being done to learn, but I understand that it could be a liability issue. Thank you so much Ronnie!
Very trustworthy so you ladies take advantage of this service these men are very honest and want try and rip you off just because your a women that doesn't know a dam thing about our cars except how to drive em. Family business for over 40 years now!!!
I am so thankful that I was referred to this place buy a friend. They really saved me a lot of money. Instead of having to buy a new water pump and pay the labor to have it put on, they did some troubleshooting and fixed it for a fraction of the cost. I will definitely use them again if I need a mechanic that does excellent work at reasonable cost.
