Came in to get a safety inspection. I went in just me and my two kids and as a women know this is not a comfortable process because they love to try and upsell. Well this place didnt even let me pass the inspection and wanted over 2000 in repairs for my car in order to pass. I declined and went up the street and passed completely fine. They definitely tried to take advantage that I was a momma without husband for advice on the matter. Now I haven't returned obviously and they won't stop calling me to come back in. They are greedy and prey on women that seem like they will agree to whatever they say.
Shameless! I have had my car repaired here for years under the original owner. The new owners are unethical. I came for inspection as I do every November, my car failed. This was a first. The report indicated it was the hand brake and brakes. This new manger came out with a report and pictures sent to my phone of the damage along with a $1000 repair bill to pass inspection. I was floored. My Carfax shows regular maintenance and repair to my car all from their shop! I've never been informed of that level of damage needing repair. They recently repaired a rear rotor and I have 4 new tires! I had my car maintenance in April and this was November. I was asked if I wanted to make an appointment to get the repairs done. I expressed my lack of trust, my concern with constant turnover of management and lack of continuity. I'd had to think about the repair. I took my car and the failed inspection report to another mechanic/inspection station. The owner got in and manually checked my brakes and hand brake, said they were fine and passed my inspection. I later showed him the extensive repair report from Harrell's Piney Green Auto Repair. He said we're going to get you on the road first and I could come back after the holidays so he can take a look. He has a new customer!
Only place I’m Jacksonville that works on coilovers I was told/. I went and everyone was nice and funny I had requested an alignment and to get my suspension leveled as I put my coilovers on myself. And with a smile on their faces that said they would take the job! My car looks and feels a lot better now thanks to these guys!
My husband and I always appreciate the detailed service provided by Piney Green Tire & Auto, including the pictures of what the issue is. Another point is that tgey are open on Saturdays so it doesn’t interfere with our work hours. So grateful of their all around top grade customer service. Thank you.
Came in with an oil leak issue, ended up being a week long fiasco dealing with a plastic housing that had been worn away and several coolant leaks that were found. They offered rides to my work/ home and were willing to come in early to get the parts installed, even after the part that came in had a factory defect.
They did their due diligence and made it right, giving me the confidence to drive my car cross country.

Picked up a nail and a screw at the dump, 1 flat is problem, 2 is a big problem, trifecta is having 22” rims. Lots of places can’t go over 20”. These guys had everything needed and got me fixed up fast and affordably with top notch work and service. Definitely know where I’m going next time when the need arises.
Had a very bad and dangerous experience with this shop. I came here to get my tires changed, and shortly after leaving, my wheel came off while I was driving. This could have caused a serious accident. When inspected the car, it was clear the lug nuts were not tightened properly. Because of this mistake, my vehicle was damaged, and it put my safety at risk. This is something that should never happen at any professional mechanical shop. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of care and attention to detail.
Nathan and Karen and their staff are amazing!! They talked me through everything that needed to be done, made me feel very comfortable with the services they provided for me. I truly felt like family. I told them I was taking a trip to Texas and they made sure my car was ready for the trip!! If I could give a 100 stars I would. This is definitely the shop to go to if you have any car trouble.
This was by far the best auto shop I’ve been to in years. They were helpful, friendly and really take care of the customer. Highly recommend this place!
I can’t recommend this shop enough. I had a few nails in my tire and they got me right in and took care of them. Everyone was super nice and very clear with what they were going to do!
Brought one of my work vans in their shop so hopefully the long running issues could be identified. They brought the van in right away and tested for issues. Identified them and had the van back the same day. A couple days later, there was a related issue and they took care of that quickly with no additional charges. The people working here are awesome. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. It's always quick efficient service and they usually add in service that I wasn't expecting at no charge like a vehicle inspection.
I absolutely love this place. They're friendly and quick with their services, and sitting around in the lobby doesn't feel awkward or impersonal like other places. Been here multiple times and not once have I been disappointed or uncomfortable with the people, service, or prices.

I 100% trust this place above anywhere else. The prices are great, they make sure to take care of your car, they are always welcoming and absolutely friendly. Once you walk in, they treat you like family. While you wait for them to finish up on your car there is a coffee bar and, a device charging station, and TVs to watch. I live about 30 minutes away, and whenever I have car troubles, I will almost always bring my car here because they genuinely know what they're doing and will be absolutely transparent with you the entire time. Additionally, if you need work done and they tell you it'll take a while, they'll drive and drop you off if you need to be elsewhere.
I called with a simple question of how to remove stripped license plate screws and was told to just stop in and someone would take a look. From the moment I arrived, I was treated well. The front desk receptionist was sweet and helped find someone right away. I didn’t catch the mechanic’s name but he was wonderful. He worked hard in the 90 degree heat to get the hardware out and switch my plate for me. When he was done he just smiled and said “enjoy the rest of your day”. I offered to pay him and he wouldn’t take any money. Honestly, I just moved here from up north and was blown away by the kindness of everyone that works at Piney Green Tires and Auto.
This is a great place to go when you need something done to your car. I've gotten tires oil changes repairs for my truck And this time it was a mystery, but they checked it out and solved the problem. They're always eager to help. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. I definitely recommend supporting local family businesses.
Services conducted during my visit was top tier. The customer service from the entire staff was great. While my car was being serviced, I was offered and given a ride to and from my home so I didn’t have wait at the establishment until my car was finished. I will definitely continue using this establishment to service all my vehicles

Piney Green Tire was fantastic! Everyone I met from the front desk staff to the technicians was friendly and welcoming. I’m pretty clueless when it comes to cars, and I needed several things addressed with my Honda Civic. The team never made me feel anxious or embarrassed about my lack of knowledge,and they never tried to take advantage of it.Instead, they explained everything clearly, recommended affordable options, and stayed in constant communication the whole time. It took 3 attempts to get a reasonable front alignment with brand new parts installed. No screeching from my mechanic's shop. Yet, screeching after leaving Piney Green Tire. One image shows a previous stud replacement from a previous cross threading. The other image shows a recent cleaning of a stud that was misrepresented as a cross threading. My mechanic has documented everything before and after the experience with Piney Green Tire and Auto. I have also notified everyone on social media to steer clear of Piney Green Tire and auto.
This was one of the best Auto shops I have been in. The personal were so nice and knowledgeable. The work was done while I was waiting, just enough to have a coffee. Which they provide. I would recommend this shop and give it 5 stares
I’ve had many great experiences here! Not only are they quick with services provided, but they don’t overcharge compared to a lot of other chain repair shops in the area.
Additionally, I got an oil change there and, when leaving, noticed a lot of shuddering with the vehicle, even had it shut down once or twice. They stayed late past their closing hours to fix the issue (simple issue of a hose that had popped off) and compensated me for the extra time/inconvenience! They really care about their reputation and clientele, highly recommend their services!

Exceptional Service at Piney Green Auto – Above and Beyond!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Piney Green Auto! Monday morning started off rough — I ran over something and damaged one of my brand new tires. I noticed it rapidly leaking air and had my 6-month-old with me (no diaper bag in sight because I thought I’d be home right after one quick errand!).
I limped the car to the shop and was immediately greeted by Karen, who brought us right in without hesitation. Despite a full lobby and a constantly ringing phone, she was incredibly kind, calm, and helpful. She offered me coffee or water, and when I realized I needed to change the baby, she ran to my car to grab the diapers and wipes and let us use the office for privacy.
She walked me through the repair process step by step and, while we waited, answered several of my other questions about tags, registrations, and inspections. They even managed to squeeze in a quick and inexpensive inspection on the spot — a huge help.
From start to finish, we were in and out in under an hour. Karen applied a military discount after I asked, and reminded me that next time, we’re welcome to use their shuttle service so my baby and I don’t have to wait around.
The kindness, efficiency, and all-around professionalism at Piney Green Auto blew me away. This is a team that truly cares — about your car and about you. My vehicle wouldn’t shut off, and I had no idea what was going on. I brought it to Piney Green Tire & Auto, and they got me in right away. They inspected it, cleared the codes, and had me back on the road in no time. Fast, professional, and honest service—definitely a 5 out of 5 experience. Highly recommend!
