If you’re looking for a diesel shop that actually knows what they are talking about and won’t screw you over Kenny’s is your place. I took my 04 2500 over that was having an issue with the fuel system and dropped it off. Within a 48 hour period they had diagnosed the issue and made the repair and had my truck ready to go. I liked how they called me and kept me in the loop about what was going on during the entire process and answered any questions I had then and there. Super honest guys with quality work! Highly recommend using them!
Kenny's provides TRUSTED maintenance service for vehicles. Kenny is friendly and provides the best diesel service around. I trust him and recommended that my brother get is Ford 6.7L Power Stroke replaced there vice Sanders. Kenny's did a great job on that and saved him a lot of money.
Got my truck in quickly, finished the required work fast. Called and gave estimate prior to starting work.
Update: called for a last minute service and was taken in right away. Friendly and helpful.
I had to get my vehicle inspection done, and the wait was not long at all. I was greeted, and they took took the vehicle and drove it around back. Less than 15 minutes later, I had my vehicle back in my hands. They were not crowed either.
I have lived in Jacksonville for 19 years and have wandered from mechanic to mechanic getting ripped off and I was referred by a friend to take my vehicle to Kenny's Quick Service even though I don't have a diesel. Kenny's is an honest and pretty fast auto mechanic shop and would recommend to anyone, they gave an A+ service

My detailing van was having issues with the speed sensors, I had brought it to the dealership I bought it from because I had bought it less then 90 days ago. They quoted me $100 more then what Kenny did the repair for. Kenny got it done and it was ready for me to pick up by the end of the day. I’ve had my personal vehicle worked on by Kenny as well and I’ve never been disappointed.
Excellent Customer Service and Expert Mechanic. He has the mechanic midas touch, ear and knowledge. Pricing is fair and reasonable, he's not out to make a mortgage payment or make you use a box of tissues as he quotes the fee. Reliable, quick and efficient.
Was overcharged for a simple fix and won't be going back. I even asked for them to call with an estimate before doing any work, they agreed. Did I get a call? No.
On top of it all it doesn't help that the whole place gives off strong racist vibes. There are plenty of bad shops in Jacksonville, and Kenny's is one of them.
I paid this shop 3 times to fix 1 problem.. On my F250.My perfect AC. He had to evacuate but when he put it back together he pinched an Oring. Then charged me 342.00 to go back and fix what he had messed up. In the midst also he has done somthing that is killing my brand new batteries that I also had to buy after he worked on it. Now he says he can't fix it.
Clay and Kenny are awesome. My dually threw a DPF code and I thought I was going to have to replace the entire exhaust which would have been horrible. Clay got me in and ran a diagnostic & found it was a bad sensor. When the part came in the next morning she was operational by noon!!! Great service, honest men, veteran owned, good pricing and just good people. They will be doing all the work on my Ram 3500!!
Kenny is also so kind and very good at what he does! He's affordable, reliable, and always repairs my car in a timely manner! Love this place and its hard to find an honest mechanic in a military town so it makes his place even more great!
If it's a big job they are upfront about it and won't lie about wanting to do it they turned down a job I was wanting done for to the vehicle not being worth it.
Its hard to find a good mechanic in this town, one who not only can find out the proble with out replacing multiple parts till they find the right one, but one who can diagnose and fix it right the first time! No better diesel mechanic anywhere. I will not take my trk anywhere else.
I went in to get a vehicle inspected but unfortunately it needed a new injector before it could pass. They were able to get it fixed and passed quickly and the price was very reasonable. I'll be going back there for any other issues I have in the future.
Worst experience I've had with a shop. Had my truck dropped off on a Monday and was told it would be a few days before it was looked at. Over 2 weeks later with no word from them other than me calling every 3 or 4 days just to see if it's in the shop I have to call to let them know if it's not in the shop I'm sending it somewhere else. Just got a call back with them letting me know it won't be in the shop Friday putting it at 3 weeks without even being looked at.
If I could leave no stars I would. I walked in to the front desk and didn't stay past 20 minutes because one. It's okay to have your own political views but a place of business is where things of the nature shouldn't be posted around every where along with crude posters. But what made me leave were the racist post about Mr. Obama. Calling him a monkey. It made me feel absolutely uncomfortable and I was discussed with the way the place looked and their prices are also ridiculous. Most people will tell you to drive past Kenny's and I agree. You can find way better. I advise you not to do business with him especially if you are a person of color.
Went there awhile back for head studs done on my 6.0. Brought everything to them they told me a price of $2000 went to pick it up and they charged me a extra $300 for 3 things they i have yet to see cause it "needed" and just recently did a turbo swap on my truck and was missing a mounting bolt for the turbo i had on it and a few other little nuts amd bolts were missing off random stuff. Not i might have to go somewhere else just to make sure my head studs are torqued right. Instead of rushing to do the job, he should take his time.
Kenny is HONEST. My (older model) truck had a problem which yurned out that he could not fix, referred me to someone that does complicated electrical work. Kenny had my truck much of the day and didn't charge me anything. His policy is that if he can't fix it he doesn't charge. Try finding another mechanic like that. Now I won't go anywhere else.
Excellent service! The guys at this shop have been absolute life savers for my husband and me. My husband's truck had been having problems even after another shop in town had charged us an arm and leg to "fix" it. Kenny's called us back within a few days and told us the problem and the fix. They had his truck back to us running like new in no time. They also fixed the air conditioner in my car at a very fair price and had it done quickly too. I've visited a few shops in the 6 years I have lived in the area but this shop for sure has our business from now on.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I had my truck towed there for a "no start issue" , the next day I get a call saying the repairs will cost over $2300 I just don't have that kind of money just hanging around, so I asked Kenny on the phone, "OK if all else fails what do I owe you for the diagnostic?" He then said "$85.60".
So I spoke with my wife and we decided to pay for the diagnostic and do the repairs my self. The next day my wife went to pay and pick up the truck while I was at work, they charged her $107 to pick up the truck and pay for the diagnostic, their reasoning is that they " need to charge more because they are not doing the repair" and he said "we are not in business to tell people how to fix their truck" WHAT? I am paying you to find out the problem and now you want to charge me more because I don't have an extra $2300 just lying around? I paid for their services and now they want to add more money for LITTERALY nothing, I will never go back to this business and I will tell as many people as possible to steer clear. Nothing but a bunch of scum bags there.
