I have used Allen's Automotive for many years and they have always been the most professional loving people I have ever met. I never worry about if they took care of the problem or fixed the issue with my car they have always done an outstanding job. The only reason I gave them 5 stars is because tin was not an option. Thank you Allen and Tina for being people of great reputation and big hearts.
I wish we had found this place sooner! But after 9 years of being in Jacksonville, I’m glad we have! I trust Tina and Allen — which I think is a big deal for an automotive shop where businesses can easily take advantage of clients. I trust that they are keeping our vehicles safe for our family.
I initially reached out to Tina when the dealership in Jacksonville told me our Sienna needed over $6k in work done. I took our van to Allen’s for a second opinion, and after they looked everything over, the van only needed about $600 worth of work. We brought our other vehicle to them the next day to have looked over for an honest opinion. We have been back with both vehicles since and have had great service each time!

I have dealt with several mechanic shops in my lifetime, and I have to say that Allen’s has been by far the best experience. Tina was great and made sure my wife and I were taken care of, after we were given a bad quote from another shop in Jacksonville. They also identified another issue that could have been causing all of these issues (if you go to Take 5 for your oil changes don’t). Allen was great and took over the job because they were short on mechanics yesterday. I would recommend this place for any of your car or truck needs!
Just came to NC recently and needed a whole new set of wheels and wheel bearing replacements which were rusted on pretty tight. The staff was super friendly and helpful in scheduling the service and getting me a great price. Highly recommend!

And if you still aren’t convinced, they had more than ample Chances to take advantage and over charge me but they didn’t. First time I have used this place and I will absolutely be a return customer. Treated my vehicle like it was one of their own. Extremely friendly on the phone and in person. When I asked for advice, they gave advice and actually focused on me instead of like most shops that focused on getting my vehicle back for more money, they focused on what I could do to keep my vehicle running and looking like new. A friend recommended this place and I will now be recommending this place to my friends and family.
Allens done amazing work on my vehicle had him replace my alternator and main ground wire. Returned with some more work for them to do today. Tina always has a nice welcoming attitude let's you know what's going on with your vehicle and gets straight to the point with everything. You can leave your vehicle in there hands knowing your getting the job done right.
Excellent service and great communication. I was referred here for a replacement of a part that failed under warranty that was done out of state. I was leaving the next day for vacation so When I called and explained, they were super nice and accommodating as my schedule was very hectic! They took care of everything while I was on vacation and called me to let me know my car was ready when I came back. Highly recommend!! Will be using them in the future when I'm in the area. Allen's has been entrusted with vehicles in my family for years. I decided to take my car into Allen's for a 2nd opinion after the dealership gave me a list of issues that needed to be done totaling almost $7000.00. Allen's, as always, was honest and let me know the only thing I needed was an alignment, saving me THOUSANDS of dollars! Allen and Tina are very nice. Allen works fast to repair and return your car. I dropped my BMW off, got the compressor for the air conditioner, and rode home cool, and it was so much more affordable than my BMW dealership on the repairs. Definitely will use their service again. Very pleased.

I always enjoy my time whenever I stop buy, whether it is to drop off a vehicle for repair or just to ask a question. Best location in Jacksonville or Richlands to bring your car for service or repairs. I've worked with Allen's for years after trying several other places in town. Allen's has superb customer service, reasonable prices, and is great to work with. You'll never need another auto mechanic in the area.
Took our cars there for a few years and always received great service! Pricing is fair and they do quality work. Tina in the front office is kind, professional, and friendly. They also have cute dogs in their office too.
Allen and Tina are two of the most humble people in this town. How quick they were to get my truck in and get it back to me at such a fair price, it was a beautiful thing. I don't know if you've been to any other shops but I have and the experiences were more of a headache and the paranoia of shady business has always been in my mind because of prior experiences with other shops. You can Always count on these two owners to treat you right! I've been taking all my vehicles here for about 9 years! They are honest, have fair prices and they treat you like a friend, not a credit card! I love this shop. My only regret will be when we leave Jacksonville and I can not take them with me! I’m from out of town and had oil pressure issues with my car that may have been catastrophic. I had my car towed to Allen’s over the weekend. They quickly and transparently went above and beyond to fix my car. Being 8 hours away from my trusted mechanic, I was so relieved to find Allen’s and their quality work and great customer service. Hopefully I don’t need to go back anytime soon, but if there is a need for more service, I won’t hesitate to go back. Highly recommended! Thank you!
I took my Chevy Cruze to the dealership in the summer because my car was stalling and was very slow to accelerate. The vehicle was covered under warranty so I didn't have to worry about any outrageous charges or recommended services. My vehicle was having the same issues a few weeks ago and so I took it back to the dealership. Sadly, the warranty was expired, and the total cost of repairs was close to $2000. No way I could afford that.
At this point a coworker and a couple of friends recommended that I take my vehicle to Allen's and it was the best decision I've ever made. Tina handled the front desk and is seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met, and Allen took the time to show me what was actually wrong with the vehicle. We walked to my car and popped the hood and he even showed me how to maintain the vehicle to prevent future issues. They are both very friendly and knowledgeable.
I won't be living in the area for much longer, but if my car happens to have issues again, I will take it back to Allen's Automotive. Their customer service alone is worth giving them a call.
Allen is wonderful to work with. He is very knowledgeable and certainly fair when it comes to price. He took my 71 nova which wasn't running very well and got it tuned up perfectly. Tina who works at the front desk was also very pleasant to work with. I called her once to check on the progress of my car and she was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else in Jacksonville after my experience with Allens automotive.
Ms. Tina is the best and I've felt like family from the beginning. Mr. Allen has worked on my car twice now and the cost has NEVER been over the top and they've always been honest with me. I have been a repeat customer of Allen’s Auto since 2015/2016 and had 3 cars serviced during this time. I have had large to small jobs done by Allen. He and his staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Every time I have a service, I receive a full explanation of what needs to be/what is done. They also go out of their way to find the best deals on parts and save money for unnecessary services. They have gone out of their way and answered questions about inspections, titles, tags and other things to help my family and I. I have lived in the area for 17 years and have been taken advantage of by several car repair places. Allen and his staff are honest!!! I have referred several people to his shop and they are thankful and I have received nothing but positive feedback. Thank you Allen’s Auto!!
I just moved to the area from Pittsburgh and wasn't sure where to take my truck. I've had nothing but bad luck with it over the last 6 months and everywhere I took it up north, cost me an arm and a leg. I read the reviews, took a shot and I am glad I did. I gave them all my issues and told them I had 2k and told them to fix what was wrong and to go looking for any problems. They could have easily taken me for all that money but they didn't. They called and told me what needed to be fixed, and it was less than a 1/8 of what I budgeted. The exhaust was the only thing they couldn't fix and referred me to a guy name Ron. He's a character but just like Allen's garage, was honest! About a month later my truck had another issue. I called them up and not only did they remember me, they took care of me again for a fraction of what I though it was going to be. In a world where everyone seems to be looking out for themselves, they are good people, definitely worth taking your vehicles to. I don't write reviews but didn't know how else to thank them.
I've had so much trouble with my Magnum and I have taken it to many places to attempt to have it fixed. While every other shop in Jacksonville I took it to, including the dealership, was glad to just take my money and put some sort of "band aid," Allen's was the only place in town that was straight up with me. They told me my engine was bad and it was on it's last leg and that I should park it and not put any more money into trying to get it to pass inspection. I was not upset that they turned my vehicle away. Rather I was so grateful for their honesty. They really did go above and beyond with trying to help me in the past to get the Magnum to pass inspection but when it was time, they told me. This was about a year ago. I recently replaced the engine and have taken it back to Allen's to have it inspected! I was so happy to see their faces. I love this place and I will never do business with anyone else, if I can help it. Thank you Allen and Tina! :) <3
Every time I go to Allen's, they have always taken care of me. Fair prices and honest work. So much better than going to chain stores who think they can nickel and dime you around every corner. Tina and Allen have both been straight with me every time I've gone to the shop. I respect the honesty that I get. They're just great local people who run a outstanding business! Keep up the great work guys. The only regret that I have, Is not thinking of writing this review earlier.
