As a woman, I’m always a little skeptical walking into an auto shop. Unfortunately, there are places that take advantage, and that’s always in the back of my mind. But while I was waiting, I listened to the gentleman running the desk help customer after customer. He made sure everyone got the best price and the best service possible. You could genuinely tell he cared. It was an immediate relief.
C-Side Auto took great care of my car, gave me a discount when my bill came in higher than expected, and provided excellent service from start to finish. The free diagnostic was a huge plus as well.
I’ll definitely be back (hopefully not anytime soon ) and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable service.
These guys have been there for me more than once. They are honest hardworking people that treat their customers well. They give fair prices for the work they do.
Writing this review as my truck is in the shop for a diagnosis I’m not certain of. Although I have concerns I trust my guys at Seaside to take care of us. They’ve taken care of our families automotive maintenance and repairs for years. These folks are great people and anyone who needs an honest shop should give them a chance.
This review is loooooong overdue, but I guess that just means I have more experiences here to back my opinion . I’ll give a short and a long version because I’m long winded and detailed. The short version is: I recommend them. The long version is: I’m a female with a good working knowledge of cars, which qualifies me to say that if you’re a girl (or guy) who DOESN’T have that knowledge- you are safe, and will never be taken advantage of or upsold here. I’ve spoken enough to just about every person at this shop to know that their only goal is to make sure you leave there safe, and with a full understanding of what your car has had done (or needs to have done) at the best price in town. I’m an annoying customer in the sense that I’m finicky about my car and like to see things for myself (sorry guys lol)- but they are such great people that instead of being annoyed by me, they’ve just memorized my preferences and gotten to know both myself and my car to an extent that I know I can put my trust in them. How’s that for individualization? Pretty impressive if you ask me. Not only are they true craftsmen of their trade, they genuinely care about their work, and are an awesome group of people that make going above and beyond their norm.
Perhaps the best shop in Jacksonville. The vehicle we took in had loose bolts on the front end of the car that were making a "clunking" noise while driving. My son took it in to be looked at expecting to have to cancel his 1,400 mile road trip, they simply tightened up the bolts, tested it and found that was the issue. We've all heard horror stories where that would have resulted in thousands of dollars in false repair/repair, that did not happen here. Honestly and integrity go a long way with me, so I highly recommend if you have a need, visit this very busy shop
Washers stop working i was a walk in they looked at my 2015 Buick it was just a hose that came loose ! Yay !! No charge to fix Super nice staff thanks Jordan ! Found my new place to take my Betty Buick
Son-in-law is in the Marines. Came down from Raleigh to daughter's car to be looked at as they have new baby. She had already called walked in Kevin and the other guy up front got the car in quickly the battery light has been on but it was no longer on. I had put the battery in myself so I thought it was the alternator. They said the battery light was no longer on which they were correct and there was nothing wrong with the alternator. They are an honest shop. I'm in shops all week every week. These guys run a reputable business... Not making up stuff that's not really wrong.
By far best customer service out there. They went out of their way to help me figure out how and where to send my car when the repairs were out of their scope. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
These guys are the definition of quality care. I have brought in several headaches to these guys and they always helped me out. Never had to fight over price and it was always explained in a very professional manner. I brought in a vehicle the day before I had to leave across country, and they took care of it while communicating over the phone with me. They had it ready for me before the end of the day. After a frustrating experience with another shop (Brians High Performance), C-Side truly saved the day. Whenever you have a vehicle break down its a stressful situation, but at C-Side made this as smooth as possible. I brought in my own starter, to find out I purchased the wrong part number. I was informed immediately and they took the time to swap it out for me. Jordan, kept me updated on each step, and also informed me about my tires needing to be replaced in the future, without the used car sales approach. Very affordable. Extremely thankfully to the mechanics and staff making this stressful time a little bit easier! Highly recommend: )
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I am a college student and the owner Kevin is very kind and professional helping me with my car. They stand by their work and every time I bring my car here they take good care of me and explain anything very thoroughly. I stopped going to the actual dealership because I trust the owner much more. The other workers are awesome too and they provide immaculate service. They are very knowledgeable on all cars. Kevin needs a bigger shop because this place is getting very popular. I also live an hour away now and continue to bring my car here because I trust them way more. This rating is definitely just tip of the iceberg. I recommend everyone to come here because they’re honest and GOOD at their work.
Disappointed that no appts are allowed. The diagnostic fee is higher than most and doesn't count for repair charges if done at this place. I'm still trying to get in for a simple diagnose of my truck, and repair, with a disabled teen and me, being disabled as well. I am impressed with reviews from many, about their competence and honesty, few have either in Jacksonville NC, so, guess I'll just get there and wait+ wait+wait ... ugh

Thank you guys for taking care of my kids car. He's so far away it's nice knowing you guys are so wonderful and did not take advantage of him especially since it's his first car and he's new at getting work done on his own. I cannot thank you enough.
All the employees are very friendly. Helping me get my car on and off a car trailer. Were able to diagnose my car problem before I gave them my keys to the car. And when I found out my warranty was still good. When I went to pay them they said not to pay for anything. Whenever mine or a friends vehicle needs to be looked at I will suggest this place on the spot.
I brought my vehicle for a complicated repair. Unfortunately I had to bring it back for an adjustment. The stood by their work and made everything right. They also paid for the towing. It's difficult to find a business with this level of integrity. I highly recommend C-Side Automotive.
My experience at C-side was superb! Everything was explained to me what was being done to my car before and after service. I was there less than a hour. Everyone was nice and friendly. I will always recommend C-side to all my friends and family.
Needed a quick alignment after I put new suspension on my truck. Finding a place with a big enough lift was an issue because of the length of my wheelbase. C-Side had the lift and they got me right in, no problem. The work was great, prices were great, and service was great. I enjoyed working with them and I definitely recommend C-Side.
I'm sure that there are other auto shops in Jacksonville that are honest, I've been to about a dozen of them throughout my ten years here and I will tell you that I will never visit another location again. My first visit here was because I wanted a second opinion on another auto shop that was trying to get me to spend $2,000 to replace my AC in my car. The owner of the shop here not only showed me that that wasn't the problem but they showed me that the other business was intentionally trying to make my car worse by completely draining all of the freon from my vehicle. They got my AC working for less than $100, Since then, I've only come to this shop and I'm consistently baffled by the low prices and the absolute level of constant professionalism and integrity that this place has. At the very least it is just nice to go to a place that you don't feel like you are being squeezed for every dollar amount they can get from you
The A/C in my mustang stopped blowing cold air so I took it to C-side yesterday and was in and out within an hour (including a part needed to be ordered and brought). Excellent customer service! Will definitely come back in the future for car needs.
Very professional and fast! When I went in for a safety inspection, they told me all the issues with my truck and had it fixed within 48 hours. Their prices seem a bit high, but you definitely get what you pay for with these guys. When I called a month later about a different problem, they had a quote for me very quickly and were very polite when I opted to do the repairs myself. Would definitely recommend for fast and quality repairs!
I came to this shop, I had broken down. With my son in the car. And a storm was approaching, at first we were all unsure of the issue but they took their time to figure it out, one of the guys found the issue (it was far from an easy issue to find. Really unheard of issue ) but they figured it out and gave me the utmost respect and care while we were broken down. And they fixed my car and I have never in my life met more genuine people. Thank you c side. We appreciate everything you guys did.
My partner and I have both taken our vehicles to C-Side, and we've had great experiences every time. Most recently, my alternator went out right after I had just gotten a new battery from AutoZone. The team replaced both the alternator and the battery, and they even extended the warranty on the new parts. The staff at the front desk is always friendly and personable, which makes a big difference. I never feel like they're trying to rip me off, and they offer fair prices for both parts and labor. Highly recommend this place for reliable, honest service!
Had these guy install my lowering springs and adjustable control arm. Cost roughly $700 and about 2 months later a bolt came loose while driving. Needless to say I had it towed back to the shop. The service tech got it on the lift immediately. They were extremely professional and apologetic this happened. For peace of mind they allowed me to inspect for any damage (there was minimal on the rotor) and offered to check my alignment. Long story short they made things right and vowed to take care of any future issues. This business is operated by outstanding mechanics that aren’t looking to take your money and run. As long as I’m in Jacksonville I will always go here for any automotive needs. Highly recommended
After taking my car to the dealership for my “oil change and tire rotation package “ I brought my vehicle to C-side to be worked on because my car was making a funky noise at a speeds over 30MPH. After inspecting my vehicle, c-side informed that the dealership never rotated my tires and I now had an irregular ware pattern on my tires from the lack of rotations the dealership was supposed to be providing and I would now need new tires. The dealership never even inform me that I had wires showing on my tires. The gentleman at C-side took great care of me and made me feel like I once again had a safe vehicle for my children and I to ride in.
C-Side Auto Repair & Service is the best shop in Jacksonville second to none. Old school rules still apply here. Rules like honesty, trustworthy, patience and hard work on your behalf are just some of the characteristics you will experience. The entire staff (Dream Team!!!) were genuine, friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Family oriented and you'll be treated as one of theirs. Folks who work here WANT to help you. They all are considerate and kind and helpful and you’re not charged an arm and a leg for work done.
