Had my truck towed yesterday. The tow truck driver was awesome very knowledgeable about his job pulling my truck from a difficult spot at the hospital with no damage and quickly. 5 star operator.
I procrastinated and waited to get my NC state Inspection until the last day of the month. Jiffy Lube had an hour and a half wait. I called Smith’s, they said there was no wait. I drove right over and was in and out in 20 minutes! Everyone was very polite and courteous.
Husband was hauling boat back from the beach and trailer tire blew. Smith’s auto service was very quick, reliable, and knowledgeable. Matt was extremely nice and towed it to Greenville. I was amazed at how thorough he was when moving the boat off of the trailer. Please consider this small business when you are in need of towing.

I called around everywhere to see if any tow company could pull a boat off the beach for me and they all pointed me to Smiths. I called and they said give us 20 minutes, they got the boat off the beach and helped me sit it on my trailer and let me borrow straps. 10/10 will be using again Derek and Matt thank yall!

I would recommend this company to get you back in your car when you lock your keys in them. Isaiah was great he got here quickly and me in my car in about 20 minutes from when he called and said he was on the way! He was very compassionate. We were so grateful for their locksmith services! My husband locked our keys in the car during vacation and we called Smith’s and they were here exactly when they said they would be and the service tech who came, Isaiah, was extremely polite, kind, professional, and efficient! I was very impressed. Absolutely go with them!
Isaiah (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) came out very quickly to change my flat tire and in doing so discovered there was something else wrong with it and suggested I bring it to their shop if I wanted to have it looked at. I went straight there and
they had to wait on a part to be delivered and it ended up keeping a few of them there a little past closing time. We all know how it feels to stay at work after you’re supposed to be off yet they were still friendly and helpful! Excellent customer service, fast, and great pricing. Definitely recommend calling them if you’re in need.
We were told they would be at our house in 25 mins, Isaiah was there in less time than that. Super polite and professional. Definitely would recommend for all your towing needs.

Could not be more happy with the service of Smith’s. I was coming into town for one night and right when I got to Jacksonville, my serpentine belt came off. After calling USAA for a tow, and waiting 30mins with nobody calling me, I was able to make contact with Smith’s. Matt was on scene extremely quick, explained the process, helped me get to where I needed, and the following morning they got me fixed up and ready to go back home. Outstanding service, friendly staff, and fair prices! I didn’t get the Mechanic’s name, but he, Matt, and Thomas were great, thank you!
Want to give a kudos and shout out to Matt the tow truck driver. He towed my car after having a flat tire. He came before the arrival time my insurance roadside gave me. He was professional , courteous , and made a hectic situation for me not so bad. It's customer service like that , that makes someone want to share how good a business is .

I began having difficulty with my car and didn’t feel comfortable to drive it and make it to my destination safely. I contacted my insurance company and a tow truck was dispatched to pick up my car. The tow was done by Brett. With my little knowledge about vehicles he carefully explained the entire process. I am thankfully for the amazing customer service that he was able to provide. I would definitely recommend Smiths for any towing needs.
My husband actually went inside and scheduled a drop off appointment to get his work truck worked on (about 10 days in advance) When my husband arrived at his drop off appointment time. He was told they can’t accept his truck because they just picked up a big contract with the base and had 9 vehicles of theirs and to call tomorrow. First off I am happy you picked up a base contract. Second I am sure it did not happen in 1 day. Third he has a business too and would NEVER push a less paying customer to the side scheduled at that. Lastly if we didn’t have so much time and planning to get this truck there it would not have been such a big deal, he was only a phone call away. After this experience with this local company I should have read the reviews but I went on word of mouth. So I will get my word of mouth out. In all fairness I did call the company before I wrote this review and he did not seem to concerned his response was “the mechanic said he was too busy” Honesty is best policy.
I've used this company twice now, once for a basic tow that I scheduled easily. The driver was easily able to start the car after jumping the battery and get it on the truck no problem. The second time my personal vehicle was not starting and I had gone down the basic list, battery, gas, oil, fulids, fuses and called them for a tow to their mechanic shop. The same driver came out, as soon as he got in the car without touching a thing he told me "oh you're stuck in reverse" he was able to manipulate the snapped wire so my car was in drive and get it on the truck. They fixed it an entire day early and we're very considerate with my belongings. I recommend them to my friends all the time

Despite the reviews, I had a really good experience there. My car wouldn’t start while running errands and my insurance company worked with me to select them for towing and possible maintenance. The man that came to tow my car was personable, a bit hard to understand but clearly had manners. He jumped my car to get me there versus an actual tow. When we got to the shop, the man behind the desk was welcoming, the shop was clean (as can be for an auto shop), and I was actually listened to. I have auto/mechanic experience and it was good to have some actually listen to me as a female versus just looking at my dress and trying to scam me. Battery got a diagnostic ran on it and I was shown the receipt of procedure. I replaced the battery on the spot and added an oil change. It took maybe 40 minutes for it all. During, an employee let me use his phone charger to call my insurance company, super kind with smiles. When I got my car back, it ran smoothly, my oil was brand new, battery was fresh (unsampled with no made scraping), and they even fixed my tire!
I’m greatly appreciative of this place. Efficient, straightforward, and humans not robots. (The dog is so sweet, by the way!) THANKS, Y’ALL!

They're Family oriented and Dave is a like Brother.
