Twice!! Count it TWICE!! These guys have helped me when my car(s) got stranded. Once for a dead alternator and the second for a hydro locked engine. The Tow driver is super friendly and accommodating. He was very kind to me and my son the first go around. The second time he came, still very professional and kind even at 5am. Hands down call these guys !!! Best in town , and the fastest arrival time. I wasn’t waiting hours like EVERY other company quoted me.

On Friday February 14th( valentines day of all days) I was involved in an accident around 4:30am while on my way home to Delaware from Wilmington where I was working for the week. The accident resulted in my truck being undrivable. I called triple A, and they apparently exhausted all attempts at their regular tow services for the 3 1/2 hours as I sat in my cold truck waiting for contact again from Triple A. They finally reached out to Wilson's Towing of Jacksonville, NC. WOW!! What a great experience. Jon and his wife were an awesome Team! They treated me with care and handled the whole situation with class. They showed great concern for me which was a plus! I would recommend Wilson's Towing for all your recovery needs. My vehicle broke down in the middle of nowhere and it was very difficult to find someone to come and tow my ride - thankfully Wilson’s made it out there and got me to where I needed to be - Great company and great people I worked with on this situation - thanks Wilson’s!
I used roadside assistance and this is the company that picked up my vehicle. It was a very long, involved process and it took hours for my vehicle to go a very short distance.
Mr Calvin Wilson is a great honest man. Great prices great service I can't give him enough credit for how he does for our family needs for our vehicles. I recommend him 100% over any other auto shop or tow company in the onslow county area.

They will charge you an arm and a leg for a repair that is not properly done. Your vehicle will be in worse shape leaving the shop than bringing it in. These mechanics will put your life in danger on the road if you're not careful.
Wonderful staff!! Brought my parts in and found out they were the wrong size for my truck. Calvin ordered the parts and had them delivered right away. Got my vehicle in and fixed the alternator and belt. Same day service. Got me back on the road in no time. Thank you so much for everything. I will be recommending you to all my friends and family.
I found myself in an extreme dilemma a few weeks back with no garage door opener (other than the one built into my wrecked car) and no house key, and Mr. Wilson went out of his way to drive me and my flatbedded car home just long enough for me to open the garage door and get another door opener and key. He went out of his way to help me when he didn't have to. Superior, above and beyond service! (many lessons learned this day, including a reminder that God puts people in your life for a reason)
I could write a novel on why NOT TO GO HERE. But, I’ll just simply say, they had me pay $900 and two months later, the service I paid for is already in need of repair. They lie, they don’t know what they’re even doing, and the owner is clueless. (I feel bad because he’s an older man, but his employees are definitely taking advantage of that)- Mr. Wilson needs to either shut down, or hire SKILLED mechanics. Because these guys literally have no clue what they’re doing. The place is SUPER dirty. You’d think since they’re ripping people off, they could afford a couch in the lobby without holes. They told me my car would be done that day, it took 10. “This won’t cost more than $700, we’ll give you a military discount”. Well, almost a grand later and NO discount, I might as well tossed $900 down the toilet..... Just, save your money. Don’t go here.
We are very pleased with the service here. Had both vehicles worked on. They got it fixed the first time. One of our vehicles kept throwing a code and no one could find the problem. Wilson's did !!!
These guys were sent out via my roadside assistance and after the first company bailed on me with No explanation. Wilson's showed up earlier than expected, were fast, efficient and courteous. Awesome experience, highly recommended.
This is the worst auto repair shop I've ever experienced. I feel like I got my vehicle back in worst condition than it was when I gave it to them. I would never recommend anyone to go here. If i could give Wilsons no stars I would. They only got one star from me because that is the lowest it will allow me to rate them.
DO NOT GO THERE - Overcharged for just putting on a serpentine belt ($200, and that's after I bought the belt), and now I'm seeing that the car is now missing a spare tire. Cute!
I have had two major components repqired at this shop; the transmission and my motor. While my Grand Jeep a Cherokee has been nothing but a pain, its paid off. I wish Stevensons would have taken it back when it presented its issues (within the first month of purchase) but that's another review. This isn't a dealership instead it is a small down home mechanic repair shop. Yet I have always received kind and courteous sevice. If the work done is guaranteed they follow through. "That's what you paid us for!" -Mr. Calvin told me after my jeep acted up after pick up. I have faith in their work.
Went in with a dead car and instead of replacing the most expensive item that might have been the issue, they properly diagnosed and fixed what was wrong. I will be returning there with any issues I have from now on.
Traveling in a large RV which broke down 50 miles from Jacksonville on a Friday. After 3 hours of waiting for our roadside assistance company to find someone with the proper equipment to tow us, they sent Mr. Wilson, owner of Wilson's Auto Repair. He turned out to be our "angel" in disguise. Not only did he tow our rig safely and securely, he had his tech waiting at the shop for our arrival (now 5PM) to diagnose the problem. They had parts shipped overnight, repaired the rig Sat. AM and we were back on the road less than 24 hours after Mr. Wilson towed us in. He also coordinated with our warranty company. Two other companies we talked with earlier, would not even look at the rig until Monday and we would have no access to it to live in it over the weekend (we are currently on an extended trip). We cannot say enough good things about Calvin Wilson and his whole staff, from the very knowledgeable technician who worked on the rig to his office manager who handled the administrative details to Mr. Wilson himself who went above and beyond. Many thanks from 2 very grateful RV'ers.
